Eddie Plank allowed North Eaton's manager to rest his bullpen, tossing a
complete game and Stan Musial slammed a homerun and had 5 RBI at Candlestick
Park as the mighty North Eaton Posy DagGumits belted the pitiful Hinckley
Buzzards by the count of 18 to 4.

Musial enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He doubled clearing all three ducks
off the pond. in the 6th inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run
(his 16th of the season) in the 8th inning.  North Eaton bats were hot in the
1st inning when they had 7 runs on 7 hits and the 6th inning which saw them
plate 4 runs on 4 hits.  North Eaton dominated offensively as they scored in
6 different innings.

The win went to Plank(15-3) who allowed 4 runs in the game. Jim Kaat(3-3)
absorbed the loss.
