Nap Lajoie had 2 base hits and 2 RBI at Dodger Stadium as the Harvey
Wallbangers came back dramatically to top the North Eaton Posy DagGumits by
the score of 8 to 7.

Harvey erupted with the game winning runs in the top of the 9th inning when
they scored 5 runs on 5 hits.  The highlight belonged to Ted Williams who
helped quiet the crowd when he cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his
20th of the season).  Harvey managed 10 in their victory.

The win went to Mike Cuellar(5-2) who allowed 2 runs in 2 innings. Dick Radatz
earned his 17th save.  Jeff Montgomery(3-4) suffered the loss in relief.  He
allowed 2 hits and no walks in 2/3 of an inning.

Harvey's manager was feeling mighty fine as he answered questions in his
office after the game, 'Now that was one fine ending! Did you see how the
crowd just sat there in silence after the winning run scored? Here we are
celebrating wildly, and the stadium is cloaked in virtual silence.  Weird.
but GREAT!'
