Al Spalding was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Mickey Tettleton had 2 base hits and 5 RBI as the Cleveland
Mayors clobbered the outmatched N. Ridgeville Bandits, 18 to 5.

Tettleton helped send the fans home happy.  He delivered a base-hit scoring a
run in the 3rd inning and stroked a single bringing in two baserunners in the
4th inning.  Cleveland kept the scorekeepers busy in the 4th inning with 5
runs on 7 hits and the 5th inning scoring 4 runs.  Cleveland simply wore out
the N. Ridgeville pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.

The win went to Spalding(2-2) who allowed 5 runs in the game. The loss was
charged to Spud Chandler(1-4).  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
up 14 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings.
