Left fielder Bernie Williams had 2 base hits at SAFECO Field as the Harvey
Wallbangers pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Grand River Ghostmen
by the count of 3 to 2.

Harvey erupted with the game winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning with
2 runs using 3 hits.  Williams kicked off the action when he tripled.  Jack
Clark stepped up next and he drew a walk.  Heinie Manush then doubled scoring
a run.  Ryan Klesko came up and he laced a base-knock making Harvey the
victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration.  Harvey rapped out 9
hits for the afternoon.

The win was credited to Pete Richert(2-0) who went 2 innings allowing no runs.
Jerry Koosman(0-1) suffered the loss in relief.  He allowed 1 hit and 1 walk
without retiring a batter.

Harvey's manager was all smiles after the ballgame, 'It sure was looking
pretty dim there for a while, but our guys never gave up - and neither did
our fans - they kept cheering us on.  What a sweet win!'
