The Lone Star Quilt This Lone Star Quilt Top was made with strips, and cut using a long ruler. This was a great class and as you can see, makes a wonderful quilt! Someone asked me one time, "Who is gonna sleep under that quilt?" I just looked at her and she said "No one". It was too bright!! Email me, My Mailbox is Below. Thanks for visiting!! There Are More Quilts Below!!!
Christmas Quilt. Foundation Pieced, Machine Applique'd, Custom quilted with the words Jesus, Mary, and Merry Christmas quilted into it. I added earrings, buttons, trinkets to make it really cute.
Black, White and Red All-Over This quilt was made from Debbie Caffrey's 4" block. There are 20 blocks, each different, black & white with red centers, red and white with black centers, sashed with turquoise. It was fabulous. Truly this photo does not do it justice. It was auctioned off by the Local Cable Company to raise money for "The March of Dimes". It is now living somewhere in Mississippi. I miss it.
Melanie's Quilt. This quilt was begun in 1998 and finished in Mar 2004. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Well, I stopped quilting for three years...but did parts of it in between those times. I put the blocks in rows during the Houston Quilt Festival 2000, added the borders and had it quilted in Fall 2002. Finally started back quilting in Fall 2003, but have been so busy but finally found the time to put the binding on. And, guess what: Just in time for her 26th Birthday, March 2, 2004. She just loved it. It is a queen size, the largest I have ever made and absolutely striking. I used Debbie Caffrey's little 4" block and jewel tone fabrics.
