Expectations of All Students

As your teacher, you all have expectations of me and I can assure you that I will try to adhere to your educational, social and emotional needs. If any of you need me do not hesitate to come by my classroom at any time. Like you all, I have expectations of my students. Here they are in an abbreviated version from class:

1-Respect is a give and take situation; therefore, if you want it and feel you deserve it, you must first give it. I will respect you if you respect me and your peers, parents, faculty/staff members, and members of the community.

2-I am expected to be at school everyday in order for my students to be successful. Therefore, I expect the same. As my students, I expect you to come to class everyday-not only because it will benefit you educationally, but because I also want you to be there.

3-When you come to class, I want each and every one of my students to put in 110% everyday. You control your future, only you can choose where your life leads you. I promise you that within your life, if you put in as much effort, time and dedication as you can, you will prosper. Participation includes not only speaking in class, and doing the activities, but also coming to class prepared with materials and a positive attitude!

4-Come to class with an open mind. With an open mind, you all can experience new ideas and gain a broader sense of the world. By listening to others respectfully, you can engage in conversations that will allow you to formulate educated opinions as well as a better sense of self. I want you all to be considerate and open in my classroom. There will be no, absolutely NO, ridicule, judgments, or boundaries (except when I create them) in my classroom. Leave your hostilities at the door and come into class ready to focus on the day's lesson. By listening you also realize new aspects of character within one another.

5- Cheating and plagiarism will NOT be tolarated. There are no excuses, or exceeptions, you will suffer consequences. I have no tolerance for these actions.

6-HAVE FUN!
