As Blare heard the shocking news she froze. Her face turn pale, "Hello?" the women asked "are you still there?". "Yea," Blare replied "I'm still here". "Well I just wanted to tell you that he vanished this morning around the hours of two a.m. and three a.m." the women informed. "Okay, bye." Blare said as she hung up. For 10 minutes Blare sat there in a daze, thinking about her nightmare, if it was one at all. Then a stray thought entered her mind, could Michael still be in the graveyard, maybe?. "There is only one way to find out.", she told herself. So she put on her jacket, left her parents a note, and ran towards the woods.

When she arrived she noticed it was still a little dark, so she pulled out the flashlight that she had brought just in case and turned it on. She entered the woods, slowly like last time and got the same chill as from the nightmare. She now knew the nightmare had to of been real. It seemed as if the woods wasn't getting any lighter. To save her batteries, she turned off the flashlight for the time being. When she finally reached the clearing she followed the same path as before. After a while she approached the house and graveyard. As she drew nearer, she peered into the window. "Looks empty." she uttered under her breath. Without a sound, she opened the door and entered.

When she got in she looked around, there was dust and spider weds everywhere. The house looked exactly the same, except when she walked in the parlor there were no paintings at all. "What is that?" she whispered to herself when she heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "Who's there?" an old man asked loudly. Blare knew it had to be the man from her nightmare so she slithered back to the door, opened it, and ran. Again, she was drawn back to the house. She thought to herself, maybe Michael is stuck somewhere in the graveyard. She slowly walked to the gate and looked hard, in the faded darkness she could make out a figure. Opening the gate she confronted the figure.

As she entered the solemn graveyard, she got the feeling something was wrong. As if something was out of place. She got closer and closer, she could start to see the creature clearly. "Hello?" she asked as she drew closer to the beast. "Who are you," she asked with a shaky voice "what are you?". Suddenly the creature swept out from under her knocking her down. Blared screamed violently as the monster ripped her to pieces.
I am the gate guardian of this realm, do you wish to return home?
