A mural attracts attention to customers, patients, passengers, etc. A mural will give people an impression, the business will welcome them. A mural can also serve as a locator when giving customers directions to where you're located.
The canvas can still adhere to the walls. Before I put on the mural I will apply the wall with a gel called gloss medium and Varnish to cover up rough areas.
I will charge $1500.00. If the wall you ask me to paint on is higher 20 ft x 20ft, I charge $50.00 extra for every 4ft higher than 20ft. You don't have to pay all at once, however the full amount must be payed a week after the mural is finished.
Painting The mural would take me at least three (3) weeks. Once the painting is completed It would take me one (1) week to prepare the wall, e.g., rinsing the wall with basic H solution, putting gloss medium and varnish on the wall which will dry in eight (8) hours, then gluing the wall with gel medium and pasting the canvas to the wall which takes lots of concentration. The bigger the wall, the more time I'll need.
Yes it will. The method I use will last more than 80 years. The murals I paint are on a polyester and cellulose canvas which I'll glue to the wall. The canvas was designed for both indoor and outdoor and can withstand the toughest weather.
No
I'll paint any subject, as long as it doesn't promote racism, sexism or anything offensive to whom will see the mural. Also, I won't paint any subject that another artist has created; known as plagiarism.
I'll only use acrylic paint. Paints, such as house paint or oil base enamel will crack .I will not use spray paint.
Anti-Graffiti-Coat will protect the mural from being defaced (a.ka, tagged). If the mural is defaced with spray paint, all you have to do is spray the mural with water and the spray-paint will come off. Also, if you decide to clean the mural from dirt, dust, etc, you won't destroy the paint.
I will cut a hole in the canvas where the object will be so it won't have to be removed or covered.
If the mural is in Los Angeles the Cultural Affairs Department of Los Angeles, by law has to approve the mural. The cost is very cheap; under $100.00. They only want to make sure the mural will not be offensive to the public and it won't cause harm, e.g., a car accident. In other cities, the law may not apply.
