| This coil required a tank capacitor of .01uf for proper resonance. Since I already had an MMC array built from the previous coil which was rated at .008uf, all that was needed was to build a duplicate array and wire it in parallel to the first. This produced a total capacitance of .016uf at 24,000 volts. Four parallel-wired banks of 15 series-wired .056uf capacitors made this possible. There are 60 caps in all. This capacitor performs marvelously. |
