Holiday in Cambodia

Up until now, Bridget and Mack have just told us how beautiful Cambodia is. Now, for those of us in Missouri (This means you, Katy!), they are showing us. And they are doing so in photographs that are worthy of National Geographic magazine. "These all were taken the week we got engaged," Bridget wrote in a recent e-mail. "They are by far the prettiest pics we've had developed so far. I still have five more rolls to develop, but I am waiting for the good old student loan check to kick in before processing any more."

WATCHING OVER: A smiling Buddha statue surveys the Cambodian countryside.

YOU SEEK YODA: Mack poses for a photo at Preah Kahn temple at Angkor Wat.

THAT'S SOME SCARECROW: A Cambodia farmer, harvesting rice, is dwarfed by an ancient -- and imposing -- statue.

ALL SMILES: A Cambodian boy shows off an armful of freshly harvested water lotus. Below, another youngster adds to the day's take.

UP. UP AND AWAY: Bridget climbs the steps of Angkor Wat, the 12th century temple complex that is billed as the oldest of its kind in the world.
