COLUMBUS, GA. -- Add a couple of more degrees to the family collection.
Mike Walsh graduated May 7 from the Medical College of Georgia, and his sister, Molly, graduated a week later, May 16, from Notre Dame.
"Whew! That was some heavy traveling for all of
us," Judy wrote in a recent e-mail.
Also in attendance at Mike's gradution was fellow MCG grad Magdi, as well as Robbie, Ken and Elaine.
So what's next for the new graduates? Well, Mike is now in Birmingham, Ala, where he has started his pediatric residency.
For Molly's part, she's doing a service/ graduate/teaching project
through Loyola?. "It's a 2-year
commitment," Judy said. "She�ll have a masters when she�s finished. In the meantime, she�ll be a teacher at an underserved Catholic school in
the Archdiocese of Chicago. She had a rude awakening into the city: a
4-hour standstill traffic jam driving from South Bend to Chicago. How
does Bridget do this? Maybe she can offer advice." |
