COVINGTON --  The NFL season is not even a week old, but Betsy and Shane wasted no time in asserting dominance in the family's fantasy football league.
   Led by a great performance from Philadelphia running back Deuce Staley, their team, strangebrew, racked up 77 points, the best of the day.
   Filling the second-place position was Liz's team, Wolfpack, with a respectable 72 points. Rounding out the top three was Mike Scott's team, The A-Team, with 56 points.
     Of course, at the end of the year, point totals don't matter as much as  victories against other teams in the league, so without further ado, here are this week's results. (Winners are in red.):

Long road awaits Betsy in Michigan

FLINT, Mich -- Betsy started anesthesiology classes this week at the University of Michigan, and all indications suggest her experience will be far from pain-free.
   On her first day of classes, she was greeted grimly by instructors: "Welcome to hell!"
    What they don't know is that she grew up in a family of six. After that, hell ought to be a snap.
