Midsections may be wider, and some hairlines may be receding, but smiles were as bright as ever during the 2001 Thanksgiving family reunion. Here are some photos to prove it. (For more click here.)

COVINGTON -- There�s only one predictable thing this year in the Family Fantasy Football league: total
and com-
plete
unpre-
dictability.
   For the
umpteenth time this season, there is a new leader sitting atop the standings: He Hate Me, coached by Mike Scott.
   Mike earned the top spot two weeks ago with a little help from his main squeeze, Lanie, whose team, the Big Bad Mamas, knocked off the formerly top-ranked Georgia Peaches, coached by Judy and Mick. This past weekend, He Hate Me survived a meeting with the Survivors, coached by Lesley, to hang on to the top spot.
   Even the league�s most predictable element � the occupation of the cellar by The Charioteers, coached by Robbie and Magdi � is being threatened by the plummeting Go Lions (formerly Above-Da-Bridge), coached by Betsy and Shane.
   �Yeah, we�re pretty bad,� Betsy said during a recent phone call from her home in Michigan. (It was unclear if the pronoun �we� referred to her fantasy Lions or the real-life 0-12 Detroit Lions.)
STANDINGS: Here are the league rankings as of Sunday night. A few teams had players scheduled to play tonight (Monday), although none had a realistic chance of changing the outcome of their respective games.

COVINGTON -- An evil landlord is threatening Bridget and Mack�s plans to get a poodle, but since they are holding out hope, so are we.
   A few weeks ago, we asked for your suggestions for a new name for the pooch. Now that we�ve got a handful of your favorites, it�s time to narrow it down to a few finalists.
   Below you�ll see a list of names submitted after that first request for monikers. Type in your favorite three, in the order in which you prefer them, and click the �Woof� button.
   Each first-place vote will earn three points for a given name, each second-place vote will earn it two points, and each third-place vote will earn it one point.
