   Later in the week, she, as the capitol reporter, covered the funeral of Carnahan, who was locked in a heated congressional race with John Ashcroft when he was killed in a plane crash. The event was a somber one, but a C-SPAN cameraman at one point trained his cameras on Bill and Hillary Clinton and Al and Tipper Gore. Standing just behind them, behind a barricade, was Katy.
   So now she has a great file of newspaper clips as well as an FBI dossier.
COVINGTON-- Oh, how quickly the power shifts.
   The last time the site was updated, The A-Team, managed by Mike, was undefeated and The Big Bad Mamas, managed by Lanie, and the Georgia Peaches, Judy's team, were the league doormats.
    Well, since taking a solid thumping from the Mamas in week eight, The A-Team has fallen to 8-2. On top of that, the Peaches have come on strong, winning 3 of their last 4.
   This week, keep an eye on Bobby's team, BludUndEisen, who was beaten by The A-Team earlier in the season buts gets a chance at revenge this week.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Katy witnessed history over the past few weeks, first as a reporter at the year's third presidential debate and later at the funeral of former Missouri Gov. Mel Carnahan.
   As a student jounalist in one of the most hotly contested states in one of the closest presidential elections in recent history, she managed to finagle a press pass to write a news analysis of the St. Louis debate.
   Like most print journalists, she was
relegated to a press room, but a steady stream of notables paraded through, offering opinions.
   Among them she got to see: vice presidential candidate Joe Lieberman, New Jersey Gov. Christie Todd Whitman, Maryland Lt. Gov.
