Fantasy football draft order is set

COVINGTON -- Jeez, how lucky can one guy get?
After finishing last season as the champion, Bobby has won the first selection in the Family Fantasy Football 2001 draft, set for Sept. 2.
The draft order was selected by random lottery, and Bob's name,

believe it or not, was the first drawn out of the hat Monday afternoon.
Early speculation has Bobby snatching up Rams running back/superman Marshall Faulk. Faulk was on Bobby's roster last year, Faulk's second consecutive MVP year.

The news isn't all bad for late-round teams, however.
Although the first round goes in ascending order starting with No.1, the second round goes in descending order starting with No.8. As a result, the Georgia Peaches will have the No. 8 and 9 picks, while Bobby will have to wait for the 16th selection before he gets to pick a second player.

COVINGTON -- A poll tracking the most popular links from "Katy's Page of Links" is almost over.
   For about two weeks, visitors to the page have been prompted to select their five favorite "Links of the Week."
