I was diagnosed with Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (PPH) when I was about 2 years old. As I type this on July 7th, 2005, I am 26 years old.

I started seeing Dr. Bshouty in the spring of 2001, after being refered to him by my cardiologist who's treated me since he diagnosed me. Right now, I'm on Bosentan (Tracleer), Coumadin and Adalat, as well as oxygen 24/7.

I go to university part-time, working towards an advanced Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Psychology. Outside of school work, I volunteer with Girl Guides and at the women's center on campus.
