| There was some kind of smooth cream-colored coating applied to the inside of the top after the fabric was installed - it slops up against the edge of the clamping channels. | ||||||||||||
| Here's one of the hinge mounts from the inside. I can't understand why there was no reinforcement here - somebody apparently put a washer on one of them, but you can see where the other two screws pulled right through the fiberglass. | ||||||||||||
| The seal for the glass windows. Apart from the gap between the ends, this is a really clever piece of rubber. What appears to be a light-colored line is actually in interlocking section of rubber which has been disengaged from its locked position (to which it returns in the right-hand end of the picture). The dark section of rubber below the interlock can now be retracted "into" the bidy of the seal and allow the glass to be removed. I sure hope the replacement piece works this way. | ||||||||||||
| Mr. Stauffer made and installed the screens for the vents. They were to be partly opened via velcro to reach the vent operating mechanisms - unfortunately discarded. | ||||||||||||
