Welcome to my homepage!
I was born and grown up in Tehran,
Iran.
I received my B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer)
from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran,
in 1995 and my M.Sc. degree in ME from University of Tehran, in 1997.
I continued my work with Prof. P. Zamankhan on the simulation
of Granular flows at Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland, for
the last fifth month of 1997 before I moved to the United States.
I have done my Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering at
Stanford
University, where I have been a research assistant working with Prof.
G.M.Homsy. My
research area has been study of the viscous interfacial flows, including
study of thermocapillary migration of gas bubbles in tubes and study of free-surface viscous flows over topographies using Biharmonic Boundary Integral method.
