Don't get me wrong, it looks wonderful, but I had the worst experience with it. First of all, it's not the highest quality kit. I knew that from the beginning. Add that to a relatively incompotent body shop and what do you have? 6 WEEKS OF HELL! That's what. For 6 weeks I had to argue with them just so they would do it. I expected a week, 2 tops, but they took 6 (for a Mazda "6", ironically). Was it worth it? Only time will tell. I have found that it's a little lower in the front than I had anticipated. Yeah, I got my inaugural scrapes on the bottom already... *Update: After an unbelievable stroke of bad luck, the front end took some serious damage and had to be removed. I put the stock kit back on, with some aluminum mesh from Extreme Dimensions in place of the old grills. The kit will be back on, hopefully, next summer. |
