What has happened to “The Greatest Generation”?

Do these survivors of the Great Depression, World War II, the Korean War, the Cold War, etc. really want their friends, neighbors, children and grandchildren to pay for their prescription drugs? I don’t think so! I believe there are probably less than 1 in 50 seniors who need and deserve help paying for their drugs. The system proposed by the liberal candidate is simply a method to bring additional control to our lives by the federal and state governments by “creating a crisis” to further their own agendas!

Another stupid liberal proposal is “ Campaign Finance Reform”! Do we really believe they will abide by new laws? No way! These new laws would simply be ignored just like all of the current ones.

In my opinion there are far more serious problems. Consider the partial list that follows, in random order:

	Seal America’s borders. If the current system doesn’t work, replace it! Double the coastguard and put the military on all borders. How many illegal aliens vote? Why give amnesty to criminals?
	Do whatever it takes to fix our armed services. Keep in mind that we lost in Korea, lost in Vietnam, did not remove Saddam Hussein in Desert Storm or Slobodan Milosevic from power. We got Noriega out of Panama, and we did okay in Granada. Is this a record of a Superpower?
	Is it too late to make English our official language? Will we wait until we all have to learn three or four different languages just to be able to drive across the U.S.?
	When will our government have enough guts to withdraw from the U.N. and remove it from our soil? This organization has an agenda to eventually dominate every nation, especially the United States! Do we want that? How soon will our “wimpy” officials let the UN tax Americans?
	Most government programs seem to be completely out of control. How can they be reigned in? Or maybe abolished? Why do we waste billions on useless programs?
	The gun control idea should be dropped from consideration. Guns simply do not kill without help! Two hundred million armed Americans could deter any potential invading force.
	The entire tax structure, local state and federal, should be replaced with a simple system that is easy to understand and control. Tax cuts are nice, but they are not enough.
	Cut foreign aid immediately by at least 40%! Continue reductions by 10% a year until it no longer drains our Treasury. What have we really gained with the trillions already spent?
	We need term limits for all elected and appointed government officials, judges, bureaucrats, etc. A method should be created to allow for the removal of those officials proven undesirable without going through the impeachment process. Eight years feasting off taxpayers should be enough for anyone.
	How can there be equal rights for all if there continues to be “special rights” for some? Any and all “special rights” should be immediately abolished.
	Which Presidential candidate has a “God Complex” so strong he believes he can control the temperature of the entire Planet? Not to mention what he will do for (to) you!
	Parents today must be far less capable than previous generations because taxpayers are supposed to provide healthcare, day care and many other services today that parents who cared for their children used to take care of.

These are just a few things to think about before voting. Please put America back on the path of actual, not phony, greatness. Remember, this country has very few, if any, actual friends among the nations of the world. So we must be prepared for any problems that may arise. In my opinion we should hit ALL terrorist organizations after we are attacked and not wait to discover which is responsible. All of these organizations would destroy us if they could, so why should we “pussyfoot” around?
