Your comments on your character Daiko...

Well, she is obviously a brassy, loud, bossy character who seems to be the personality opposite of Honey. I still enjoyed her though, because she was such a strong person. She was fiercely loyal to her family even though her general morals were, well, not all that high.

What did you enjoy the most about playing Daiko?

Boy, will THIS sound sexist. I loved being the boss of the house. She really gave Akakabu "what for" and made no bones about it. I liked that she got to order her devoted hubby around but still cared about him devotedly.

Which is your favorite scene in the entire series?

With my character or just in general? I actually love the line where Honey gets rescued in the nick of time and says something like "Whew! A few more seconds, and this would've been X-rated!" Hope I didn't mangle that too badly, but I liked the way Honey started speaking directly to the camera in the second half of the series.

And your favorite scene with Daiko?

I would say the scene where she kicks butt after seeing the men peeping in on Honey. THAT was fun! >=)

That just happens to be my favorite scene with Daiko as well - when she catches Akakabu and Danbei peeking at Honey in the shower. Your comments on that particular scene...

BUSTED! Hee hee! A really funny scene. Boy did Daiko kick butt! That was a fun scene to do. Daiko only approves her husband ogling her naked body. And, let's be honest, Daiko is QUITE well built! (I mean, this IS Go Nagai!)

Your comments on the Cutey Honey series overall...

Well, this is one of my very favorite series and one of the earliest ones I watched. I just love the fact that anime has so many great, strong female characters. Honey is beautiful but strong, and even though she is so capable, she still is vulnerable and loving. What a combination!

Thank you for your time, Tiffany.

You're welcome.
