Please comment on your character Akira Fudo a.k.a. Devilman...

Well actually, that's one of my favorite roles that I hope to do again. I know that they're re-doing the show Devilman, and it was a really good character because for once I got to be kind of the evil guy but he wasn't really evil. Actually, that's Jessica's favorite part that I've done. She thought that I was quite sexy as the role of Akira. And I had a lot of fun with that part, even though it wasn't for a very long series.

Which scene did you enjoy doing the most?

I think it was the scene where Akira and Honey were chained to the wall and I'm like...Akira Fudo

     "Are you okay?"
and she's
     "Yeah, yeah I'm fine"
and
     "I've never seen you before"
"Oh! Well I'm really well-known in the psycho set"
"Oh, I thought I was the psycho set" (laughs)

That was my favorite line from that movie.

What were your favorite scenes in the entire series?

You know, I've only got to see 3 or 4 of the tapes, and I guess I can say any time Cutey gets naked was one of the better parts. But I like the part that Tristan MacAvery played as the grandfather-techno character. I mean, I don't really watch the scenes so much as just the characters - I like some of the characters in the show.

Have you ever watched the Devilman OAVs?

No I haven't. I want to though.

Your comments on the Cutey Honey series overall...

Well, it's not something I could show to my nieces and nephews. But, in it's over-the-top way, it's a lot of fun. It reminds me of Dragon Knight as in that it's just so over-the-top sexist that it's just funny.

Thank you for your time, Brett.

Sure, he thanks you.
