CLUB ACTIVITIESClubs Christmas Outing to Howth with party afterwards. Sunday Jan 1 2006. New Years Day Easy Hike. Hike from Lucan along the Liffey to Leixlip and St Catherines Park, then pick up the Royal Canal back to Maynooth. Stop for a break at Leixlip for a snack. For those who do not wish to completethe full hike break off points are at Confey and Louisa Bridge where a train or bus can be used for the return to Maynooth. Different stages of hike, Leg 1, 6 Kms, Leg 2, 3 Kms, Leg 3, 9 Kms. Timings will be advised later when Christmas bus timetable has been issued by Dublin Bus. PLEASE NOTE: ADDITIONAL MODERATE and HARD HIKES OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS AVAILABLE ON OUR CLUB PROGRAMME ( LIMITED TO CLUB MEMERS ). E-mail or ring to have a copy made available to you.
