New Years Day Easy Hike.

Hike from Lucan along the Liffey to Leixlip and St Catherines Park, then pick up the Royal Canal back to Maynooth.   Stop for a break at Leixlip for a snack.   For those who do not wish to completethe full hike break off points are at Confey and Louisa Bridge where a train or bus can be used for the return to Maynooth.   Different stages of hike, Leg 1, 6 Kms, Leg 2, 3 Kms, Leg 3, 9 Kms.   Timings will be advised later when Christmas bus timetable has been issued by Dublin Bus.

MEETING POINT FOR ALL OF ABOVE HIKES IS IN FRONT OF THE GLENROYAL LEISURE CLUB, MAYNOOTH at 9 am SHARP.    Please note there will be no delay in departure.   Own transport necessary.
