| 12 February 2006 : Maynell 1 Army & Navy 6 Previous week booked ourselves into the q/f of the Jack Morgan Cup. This week started well and took the lead after some determination, but again we failed to hold onto the lead and soon after that we were 2-1 until half time. 2nd half needed to compete with the opposition, but some players didnt relish the challenge, late on in the game we were reduced to 10 men, whihc it did count aginst us, we then went on to conceded a further 4 goals.. |
| 19 February 2006 : New George 1 Maynell 1 Crucial game, a win was needed as our opponents were only 5 points above us, so a win was a must!! A well fought battle and open game, which we competed! We went 1-0 down to a soft goal, which we responded well and equalised. The game continued as it started, but we tried to capitalise on their weak defence, but couldnt test their keeper enough!! Unfortunately the game was abandoned after 60 mins. as the opposition was abusive to the referee. |
