| Hello Fellow Writers. | |||||||
| Well, here it is. Our very own website. My dream is to one day have this site hosted on a local server so we can use our own web address and not have to worry about ads. But, for now, here we are at Geocities, which is not a bad thing. Their page builder is pretty simple and straight-forward, so even someone like me can manage it. | |||||||
| For those of you who are new to our group, let me tell you a bit about us. We are a small group of local writers who get together on the last Monday of the month to discuss writing and read what we've written. Members offer constructive criticism and support when needed. We keep the group light and friendly, and we really have a lot of fun together. | |||||||
| We meet at the local book store, Blue Moon Books. It is located on Upper Street in downtown Spruce Pine next to the Toe River Arts Council. Membership to our group is free as we are pretty informal. Our meetings vary in size - some months we only have 3-4 people while others we may have as many as twelve. | |||||||
| We have a very open and friendly group and look forward to hearing works from all genres - nonfiction, fiction, poetry....everything. If you are a writer looking for support and encouragement, please come join us on the last Monday of the month at 6pm. Everyone is welcome. | |||||||
