Shortly after birth, he and his mother fell sick; Nahallad survived, Alexandria did not. He grew up under Legar's old sarcasm and bitterness over Alexandria's death, was changed by his father at 17, and then abandoned to fend for himself. He had spent the last couple of decades with a 'band of riff-raff,' as his father puts it, until they got out of hand and were split up.
