Dympna was forced to live in the shadows of her sister, Kali. She spent twelve years there, watching Kali have the attention from her parents lavished upon her. She became angry and joined a local street gang to get back at her parents, but her parents didnt notice. The gang took her in and gave her the acceptance she wanted, so she became happy with them. The longer she was with them, though, the more she hated Kali. Dy couldnt forgive Kali for taking her parents away and never giving her a chance to show Kali up. One day, she blew up while Kali was at school. Dy destroyed everything in her sisters room. She finished, proud of herself, and went to leave when she almost tripped on Kalis diary. Curiosity got the better of her, and Dy spent the rest of the day reading her sisters diary. She received a nasty shock when she read that Kali hated their parents for making her this perfect being. Dy had lost track of time and nearly jumped out of her skin when Kalis hand was on her shoulder. Kali kissed her sisters forehead and took the diary from her. Dy broke into tears, saying she didnt know where they came from, and Kali actually came to comfort her. After Dy was finished, they silently began to clean up Kalis room. No words were exchanged, but things changed from then on. Kali talked Dy into leaving the gang, saying she didnt need them, and they were only hurting her. Kali was still the center of her parents attention but Kali made Dy the center of hers. Life was happy again for Dy, but Kali slowly became withdrawn. Her parents, of course, didnt see it but Dy did and was worried for her sister. Then came the day Kali went missing. Dy was furious that her sister just abandoned her, she thought that Kali would at least have brought her with her or kept in contact. Dy went back to her gang, but they couldnt replace her sisters love. What was worse was that her parents tried to make Dy Kali's replacement. She went back to her sisters room and looked for any clue that she could find. Dy went to the diary for some answers only to find madness in her words. Vampiresreal? Dy thought reading the pages. She must have lost it and left in search for this one in her dreams. Dy set the diary aside and went to see if she could find anything else, when she saw a small drop of blood on Kalis pillowcase. Not only did she now know that vampires were real, she then became positive that Kali was either taken by the one in her diary or had been sired. She has spent the last six months in search for her sister.
