Full Name: Addrian Brighthelm (Her last name comes from her father's fighting fame. Her first name is pronounced ADD'-ree-n, as opposed to AYD'-ree-n.)
Preferred to be called: Addrian
Hair Color: Golden red
Eye Color: Grey-green

Weight: Average.
Nationality: Mixed. Stereotypical Scot-Irish appearance.

Addrian grew up in your typical village. Always near the borders--not too far away-- there were skirmishes with neighboring forces, and her father was killed before the time she could register him in her permanent memory. She was surrounded by aunties young and old, who trapped her briefly each day from playing in the woods-- "dangerous, dangerous, wish you little young things wouldn't do that"-- to siphon cooking, sewing, and other womanly tasks into her head.. usually by force.
A day came when she discovered the 'danger' in the woods. The young, of all creatures, need to stretch their legs and their imaginations, and while doing so, Addrian bumped into somebody else's child doing just the same thing. However, this wasn't the next child from the village. Halin had found a real, live human.. and Addrian had found one real, live dragon. Each was curious about the other, and before too long they were friends.
A year passed. The two, when they could sneak away from home long enough, were inseparable, but neither clan, dragon nor human, knew. Unfortunately, they say all good things come to an end, and this one met the inevitable. Neither companion can remember how it happened, but somehow they were discovered. While in the woods together, an enormous dragon almost materialized out of the shadows-- it was Halin's father, and also enraged. He chased them out, effectively banishing Halin from her kin. His talons found Addrian, but somehow left only her deep facial scars, and did not take her life.
After stumbling into the village, one of the more rebellious sisters sewed up her face as best she could before the proverbial village mob chased her out for good.
Halin and Addrian fled into the woods, and then out of them again. Here they found the caverns, and within them, a home. Together they founded Dragon Haven-- it almost founded itself; soon stragglers and rejects from elsewhere began to trickle in.
