| I absolutely hated this movie. But, I have it a four because there were certain elements that were okay. First off, the trailer. I got to see movies because the trailers look really good. Either really funny or something that I would find interesting. So, I went to the movie thinking it was going to be extremely funny. "This summers hit comedy for the whole family." No. Second, the plot. Where was it? Garfield hates Odie, kicks him outa the house, Odie is stolen, Garfield rescues him. To figure that out, it took two hours. The plot was lost by all the other crap in the movie that had no relevance to anything. And, if Garfield is going to be animated, Odie, Nermal and the Guard Dog, who are main characters in the comic strip, should be animated also. Or Garfield should be a regular cat. In parts, it was funny. Garfield's dancing, his hatred of Odie, just little things that I found funny but the other 50 kids under the age of 10 at the theater didn't find those things funny. |
