Personal: Bernie and I have been married for 17 years. We both were career people so we got a late start in starting a family. We both wanted a big family from the very beginning but God had other plans. After many years of trying to have a child naturally we decided that our family was to be made through adoption. |

That's when Kaitlyn came into our life. She is the most incredible little girl. We adopted her locally through a private adoption with an attorney and brought her home from the hospital. She has been a joy to us everyday of her life and I cannot imagine our life without her in it. I remember the moment I saw her, my heart transferred from me to her. |
|

|
For many years I have felt that there was to be another child. The last three years, China has been on my mind and finally in Feb of this year we made the final decision to bring another child into our lives. |
|
|
|
So, here we are waiting and sending little Lily Claire our love daily until we can hold her in our arms. The scary part of the adoption is our age, but we feel a sense of peace that this is what we are to do for both Lily and us.........Our golden years will truly be blessed. |
