CM Eternity Project

Following the lead of some other people online, I�ve decided to run CM 01/02 (unpatched) with the English league and Conference for as long as possible to see how accurately the game progresses with no human intervention.

After the game loaded, I took the helm of Exeter City (as they have no manager at the start of the game, it doesn�t upset the game balance), then swiftly resigned. I then went on holiday, with all the notification options turned off, so the game would run indefinitely. However, I could pause it at any time by returning from holiday to check the game�s progress. I also set the Auto Save to save the game yearly, in order to guard against system crashes without breaking the flow of the game too much. I ran the game on a high-end P4 machine, so a season took roughly half an hour to complete.
