Genesis states we were created from dirt. Dirt is a composition of the elements (periodic table), compounds, mixtures & gases. Our genetic composition only has some of the elements found in dirt (yeilding compounds): ADENINE (A), THYMINE (T), CYTOSINE (C), GUANINE (G), & URACIL (U); URACIL replaces THYMINE in the Transcription process of DNA to RNA.
DNA: Polynucleotide units. Nucleotide: Phosphate group, pentos & a base (DNA: Deoxyribonucleic Acid). To further elaborate: A combination of three bases (a condon) is the product of an amino acid. Polymers of amino acids form proteins. Proteins form the cellular structure. The translation process of DNA, dealing with exons & introns are not discussed here. If you want a detailed explanation, do your own research.
I stated the above word "created", to get your attention. Yet, I think the word created is most commonly misused & abused. Webster use to define the word create: To bring into existance..
However: Considering God, & other forms of alien life, we know there are other gnome types out there. So did God create man, or did He manipulate genome type X to produce type A. A being Adam, or Adamed man.
"Understanding the Creation"
In Genesis, it states that God created the heavens & the earth. Again, create means to manipulate! But what are the heavens & the earth?
The earth is our planet; the world is a system (I suppose). The planet is a composite of the elements, compounds, mixtures, gases.
The heavens stipulated are located within the regions of the earth. Heavens are spheres around the earth, firmaments. But the heavens are not the universe!
On a tangent: God did not create the Universe! If He had, He might as well say He created the atom, & He didn't!
"Understand God as a Man"
Were we created in the image of God & are we lower than Him?
I consider that all life is composed of a geometric pattern of some sort, intelligent or not. If we were created in the image of God, it's safe to say that God has a pattern in His composite. Some consider that a Spirit is without substance & they are wrong! God most likely has a genome type Himself. Although, I have contemplated that God is composed of another type of atom, but how difficult for one composed of atoms to see other alien particles, or foreign atoms (perhaps this is possible). Our eyes only pick up visible light. What if we could see the entire electromagnetic spectrum, then you would see a lot more than you do now. But how impossible to see a foreign atom (& u wouldn't be tangible either), when your eyes are made up of atoms & can only see visible light. Even if you could see all forms of electromagnetism, you still could not see an alien atom, or particle! Therefore: God would not be able to commune with man or manipulate objects for His creation endeavors.
