Wildfire versus Troy Knight versus Sean Harley versus Insane Wayne
Four Falls Match
Referee: Charles Galliant
Writer: Ed Walker
JP: I've got a tear in my
eye...
Sully: ...why?
JP: It's time for the final ever match in the
Maximum Wrestling Federation...
Sully: ...I just wish you wouldn't say things
like that.
JP: Folks we've come a long way together and now
it's time for a match that will surely define the era of the MWF, for years we
have entertained and delighted fans right around the world and now it's time to
say goodbye.
Sully: We're saying goodbye in the only way the
MWF knows, with a damn good show.
JP: Four of the best wrestlers the MWF ever
produced will be headlining tonight and for those lucky enough to be here you
have no idea just how tense this atmosphere is.
Sully: I'm not going to use the old cliche of
the knife and cutting, but really I've never felt the hairs on the back of my
neck quite like this before.
JP: These four men have battled long and hard
throughout their careers to make the MWF the best that it could be and the match
they are going to undertake is one of the best loved.
Sully: Oh it really is something special.
JP: Four falls, whoever wins this match will
have to make a pinfall over each of his opponents.
Sully: Not easy, especially with such a strong
line-up.
JP: Charles Galliant will be refereeing his
final match tonight, I hope the crowd give him the respect he deserves.
Sully: Galliant is a legend in the ring, what a
service he's given.
[The lights in the arena start to darken around
the entrance way as Peter Santos takes up his familiar position inside the ring
and raises the microphone to his lips.]
Peter Santos: Ladies and gentlemen, the
following match is a four falls contest, this means that the winner must have
pinned each of his opponents to be crowned the winner.
JP: This is going to be
special, I hope you've got your hat on Sully.
Sully: What hat?
[The entrance way begins to glow green as Peter
Santos raises the mic to his lips once more and his voice booms around the
arena.]
Peter Santos: And the first man into this
match, weighing in at 210 lbs., Wildfire!
["The Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson
smashes through the PA system and green pyro showers the entrance way as
Wildfire walks out wearing a long black coat. He wipes the sweat from his brow
and raises his arms...as he raises them upwards the pyro stretches up towards
the heavens and showers down behind him. Wildfire smiles and laps up the cheers
of the crowd.]
JP: This man has won every
belt going in the MWF, other than the MWF World Heavyweight Championship, and
he's a real tough contender.
Sully: He never stops, he's always reinventing
himself in some way shape or form.
JP: I wouldn't like to fight Wildfire, he's one
of those tough cookies that just keeps going and going all the time.
Sully: His record is impressive to say the
least, he's got experience on his side.
[Wildfire reaches the ring, he stops at the
steps and looks round at the crowd. He slips his black coat from his shoulders
and throws it into the front row to the screams of fans as they fight over
it...Wildfire laughs and climbs the steps into the ring. He shakes hands with
Charles Galliant and the two exchange words as the colour of the entrance way
changes from green to a light blue.]
JP: Wait for this
entrance...
Sully: ...it's going to be something very
special.
[Peter Santos takes a moment as the crowd grow
in anticipation as they know what's coming next.]
Peter Santos: Introducing the second opponent
in this four falls match, weighing in at 220 lbs., from Chicago, Illinois,
accompanied by his son, Bobby Knight, please welcome, "Troy Boy" Troy Knight!
[Backstreet Boy's "Larger Than Life" hits the PA
system and the arena in Chicago, Illinois reacts with an earth shattering roar.
Troy Knight doesn't appear straight away as the lights flicker between blue,
pink, orange and yellow. Into this multi-colour light does "Troy Boy" appear and
his son Bobby Knight is sitting on his shoulders. The crowd go wild as Troy
walks down the entrance ramp and slaps hands with as many fans as possible.]
JP: This man for me just
sums up the Maximum Wrestling Federation, his commitment, his style and his
flamboyance.
Sully: I was never a fan at first but he just
has a way that makes everything fun, and that's what the MWF always was and
still is right now, fun!
[Troy Knight gets to the ring and pauses to have
a word in Bobby's ear. Bobby smiles and nods and runs off to the other side of
the ring. His father slides under the bottom rope and throws his arms up in the
arm and prances around the ring, he whips the crowd up into a frenzy as he
stands next to Wildfire and then cheekily pinches his ass. Wildfire is in game
mood and he laughs it off and slaps Troy on the back. The two men exchange words
and a handshake.]
JP: Good to see some
sportsmanship there.
Sully: Well, the next man won't be so up for
that sort of sportsmanship.
JP: Troy Knight is the best wrestler the MWF has
ever produced if you ask me and Sean Harley is not in the same league, why is he
in this main event?
Sully: Because he's been an ever-present, he's
always there to keep the MWF rolling.
[Peter Santos raises the microphone again and a
hush falls across the crowd as he bellows once more.]
Peter Santos: And the third man, weighing in
at 220 lbs., from Chelmsford, England, accompanied by Jamie Harley, "Phoenix"
Sean Harley!
["Firefly" by Breakin' Benjamin hits the PA
system and the crowd jeer as Sean Harley walks out onto the entrance way,
there's no frilly gimmicks with Sean Harley as he shouts abuse at the crowd and
high fives his brother.]
JP: This man is just a
stringer, I firmly believe he doesn't deserve to be in this match.
Sully: Of course he does.
JP: Sean Harley has never been more than a
midcarder.
Sully: I disagree, he's won multiple titles and
just was unlucky when it came to the big-time.
[Sean Harley approaches the ring and he points
to Wildfire and Troy Knight and makes obscene gestures at them, his brother
laughs as Sean Harley says something while pointing at Troy Knight. The crowd
nearby to Sean Harley shout abuse and Harley ignores them as he climbs the steps
into the ring, he walks up to Wildfire and Troy Knight to exchange some very
harsh words.]
JP: I will give him
something...
Sully: ...really?
JP: He's hungry for the win.
[Charles Galliant gets in-between the three men
and Sean Harley is forced to step to the side as Galliant lays down the letter
of the law to him. Harley shakes his head and smirks.]
Peter Santos: And the final man in this
match, weighing in at 275 lbs., from The Misery's, Florida, Insane "The Hardcore
Living Legend" Wayne!
["My Sacrifice" by Creed hits for the final time
from the PA system and the winner of the You're The Boss match walks out onto
the entrance way to a massive ovation of boos from the crowd. Insane Wayne mocks
the crowd and receives even more abuse for his trouble.]
JP: This man has already
battled in a match tonight but he's out here to try and prove he is the best in
the MWF.
Sully: Wayne will always be associated with the
MWF, he never stops trying to be a part of it.
JP: Walker suffered at the hands of Insane
Wayne, but will the same thing happen here to these three men?
Sully: I've no idea...
[Insane Wayne reaches the ring and he paces
around the outside looking in at his three opponents, he takes his time to climb
the steps and Sean Harley spits in Insane Wayne's direction.]
JP: Harley is really fired
up tonight isn't he?
Sully: Of course! Sean Harley is always fired
up.
JP: I think it's because of the past, Harley has
been in this type of match before and he lost it...I don't think he even got a
single fall.
Sully: It was at Nightmare 2003, Sean Harley and
Troy Knight were up against NomaD and Ace Spade.
JP: I remember that match well, it was a
classic.
[Charles Galliant calls the four men together in
the centre of the ring and calls for a clean fight. The four men shake hands and
the crowd cheer this act of sportsmanship between them. Chicago, Illinois
breathes in as one as the bell sounds and the action kicks off straight away.
Sean Harley comes charging out of his corner like a rabid bull. He charges
straight into Troy Knight and sends the former MWF World Heavyweight Champion
tumbling head over heels from the ring. Bobby Knight runs around to where his
dad is laid out on ringside. Wayne and Wildfire have locked up and Wayne uses
his power to dominate Wildfire and whips him into the corner. The turnbuckle
sags on impact as Wildfire leans up against it and Insane Wayne and comes
thundering across...but the leg of Wildfire comes up and catches Wayne clean in
the chin. Wildfire hops up onto the second rope and comes off it with a flying
clothesline that knocks Insane Wayne to the mat. Harley decides not to go
outside after Troy Knight and instead walks up behind Wildfire. The crowd jeer
as Harley grabs the hair of Wildfire and spins him round to face him, he extends
his right boot and kicks Wildfire in the mid-section. A doubled up Wildfire is
pulled up into the air and suplexed up and back over. Sean Harley goes for a
quick cover ...1! It doesn't even make the two count as Wildfire rolls a
shoulder. ]
JP: Sean Harley makes a
strong start here, like I was saying earlier he looks hungry for this.
Sully: The man is rabid.
JP: He's had years of being held down as he puts
it and now he's furious.
Sully: All that anger is going to bet let loose
tonight on his opponents.
[That anger is certainly being let loose as Sean
Harley gets up and Insane Wayne is on his feet as well. Wayne looks to grab Sean
Harley but "Phoenix" is alive to it and ducks under the arm of Insane Wayne. He
smiles and spits in the face of Wayne who reels backwards holding his eye,
filled with the saliva of Sean Harley, the brother of Sean, Jamie, is cheering
on his brother as he opens up a set of stinging right hands onto Insane Wayne.
Wayne is forced back towards the ropes and Sean Harley whips the bigger man
across the ring. Wayne hits the opposite ropes and comes running back, Sean
Harley launches himself and connects with a huge dropkick to the face of Insane
Wayne. Wayne goes down like a sack of potatoes as Troy Knight gets back into the
ring, his son gets the crowd chanting his fathers name as he shouts a challenge
at Sean Harley. Harley turns and with a smile of delight runs at Troy Knight.
"Troy Boy" takes steps towards Harley and the two men both connect with a
clothesline and both men are knocked flat to the mat. Wildfire is back on his
feet and he notices that everyone is down, he looks to take advantage of the
situation and runs to the turnbuckle. Wildfire clambers up the turnbuckle and
stands on the top rope. He taunts to the crowd and they roar back as Wildfire
takes off and looks for a frog splash onto Insane Wayne.]
JP: Look at the
elevation...
Sully: ...whoah!
[Wildfire doesn't connect, well, he connects
with the raised knees of Insane Wayne who rolls away as Wildfire bounces off the
knees and crashes into the opposite turnbuckle...he ends up a heap on the mat.
Sean Harley and Troy Knight are both getting to their feet and they square up,
Harley has some choice words for Troy Knight and it winds Knight up so that he
lashes out. Harley sees it coming and grabs the hand of Troy Knight. "Troy Boy"
swings with his other hand and Sean Harley catches this one as well. He has both
the hands of Troy Knight wrapped in his and he rams a knee into Troy's
unprotected lower area. Troy tries to sink down but Harley keeps the hands of
Troy Knight all wrapped up and holds him up...he rams his knee into Knight's
lower area again and the crowd jeer loudly. Insane Wayne is on his feet and he
watches on as Sean Harley head butts Troy Knight. The nose of Troy Knight is
shattered out of joint and a mixture of blood and snot smears down his face
instantly as the break becomes obvious. Sean Harley screams in the face of Troy
Knight and releases him from his grip...Insane Wayne raises his eyebrows as Sean
Harley lifts up a leg and kicks Troy Knight full in the face. Knight collapses
to the canvas as Insane Wayne picks the moment to make his move.]
JP: Breathtaking.
Sully: Sean Harley is unleashing a world of pain
on Troy Knight, he just won't let him be.
JP: You think there's some bad blood there?
Sully: You often think of Sean Harley had beaten
Troy Knight back in 2003 then he would of been given that rise to stardom
instead of Knight.
JP: I'm not so sure, Harley doesn't have that
ability to play to the crowd that "Troy Boy" has always had.
[The crowd are jeering loudly as Sean Harley
turns round and Insane Wayne can't touch him. Sean Harley's on a roll as he
dodges a punch from Wayne, an uppercut from Wayne hits nothing but air as Sean
Harley unleashes a right hand of his own and hits Wayne in the face. Charles
Galliant is slightly concerned with Harley using a closed fist, but he decides
to let it go...Wayne staggers back and Harley hits another right hand to keep
Wayne on the defensive. Sean Harley gets in tight to Wayne and the crowd gasp as
he hits a massive DDT onto the "Hardcore Living Legend". Wildfire has chosen
this moment to get to his feet and he holds the turnbuckle for support...he is
holding his ribs after the frog splash that went missing.]
JP: Something tells me
Wildfire is not in a good way.
Sully: Same here, and Harley's on incredible
form.
JP: He could go all the way and win this match,
it's obvious that Harley has learned his lesson from the last time he was in one
of these matches.
Sully: Go out there, hit them hard and hit them
fast.
[Sean Harley grabs the weakened Wildfire and the
crowd boo as he makes the signal for the Molten Wings. Jamie Harley jumps up
onto ringside and roars his brother on and Sean Harley responds by lifting
Wildfire into the air. He holds up Wildfire and spins him round and brings him
crashing down onto the canvas to complete the Molten Wings. The crowd jeer
loudly as Charles Galliant slams the canvas with his hand, Harley hooking the
leg of Wildfire ...1...2...3! The bell sounds and a screen flashes up onto the
MaxiTron with the current standing.]

JP: Sean Harley makes the
first pin fall here on One Last Time!
Sully: Come on Sean...
[Sean Harley leaps to his feet and points at the
entrance way and shouts something about proving himself. He takes Wildfire up
from the canvas and throws him clean out of the ring.]
JP: Harley's putting on a
display of just how to control these matches, he's come out hard and fast as you
said Tim.
Sully: It's brilliant to see how much he's
matured and learned since he was a fresh faced rookie trying to win the MWF
World Heavyweight Championship.
JP: This crowd don't like it one bit though.
[The bloody mess that is Troy Knight's face is
pulling itself up off the canvas and attempting to get to its feet. Sean Harley
ignores Troy Knight and instead goes after Insane Wayne who is now standing.
Wayne is showing a few cuts and bruises from earlier in the night and the crowd
aren't sure who to support as Harley grabs Wayne and forces him back into the
turnbuckle...Wayne doesn't seem to be able to muster much of a defence and finds
himself pinned against the turnbuckle. Harley tries to push Insane Wayne up onto
the top turnbuckle, but he struggles with the weight of a big man and Wayne
brings a right hand down onto the back of Harley and tries to break free. Harley
slams his head into Wayne's midriff and forces him up onto the second rope.]
JP: He's talking Insane
Wayne up top?
Sully: That's a risky move, you don't want to be
up there supporting that kind of weight.
[Harley seems to be holding his own, Troy Knight
is taking a breather against the adjacent turnbuckle and attempting to stem the
flow of blood from his nose. Sean Harley doesn't give Knight a second thought as
he turns Insane Wayne round and throws him backwards off the turnbuckle. Wayne
hits the canvas and the crowd get excited as Harley stays up top.]
JP: We're going to see
Sean Harley fly here.
Sully: Oh, I'm sure we are and there seems to be
nothing that Insane Wayne can do about it.
JP: That's not true, he foiled Wildfire before.
Sully: You don't foil Sean "Phoenix" Harley.
[Sean Harley comes flying off the turnbuckle and
executes the Crash and Burn, flipping up over himself and then bringing his leg
crashing down across the neck of Insane Wayne. Sean Harley covers, hooking the
leg as Charles Galliant counts ...1...2...3! Sean Harley makes his second pin
fall and the crowd look a little worried as Sean Harley gets to his feet and
sets his eyes squarely on Troy Knight. The former MWF World Heavyweight Champion
raises his eyes to look Sean Harley full in the face.]

JP: Sean Harley has pulled
out a two pinfall lead on his opponents here and he's really going for it now
Sully.
Sully: I don't think I've ever seen such an
emphatic romp through two pinfalls, Sean Harley has been completely dominating.
JP: But now he's up against the legend that is
Troy Knight, this man sweeps awards ceremonies and now he's got a chance to put
Sean Harley back in his place.
Sully: I wonder if we'll see some tactics here.
[Sean Harley moves slowly across the ring and
smiles wickedly as Troy Knight spits some blood clear from his face and squares
up for a fight. The two men lock up and the crowd go wild as Troy Knight spins
Sean Harley round and "Troy Boy" suddenly swings momentum back into his favour
as he hooks a leg of Sean Harley and dragon screws him to the canvas. Wildfire
is back up on his feet and he comes running across to help Troy Knight. The two
men team up and the crowd cheer as they put the boots into Sean Harley.]
JP: Double team!
Sully: Tactics!
[Sean Harley attempts to roll out of the ring
and get clear of the flying boots of Troy Knight and Wildfire but he can't get
away from them as Wildfire spots this and leaps over to the side of the ropes
and kicks Sean Harley away from them. Troy Knight pulls Sean Harley to his feet
and throws him into the turnbuckle head fist. Harley slams against the steel
pole and staggers backwards and right into the arms of Wildfire. The crowd roar
as Wildfire hits a tiger suplex with a bridge pin, Harley is squashed up against
the canvas and the crowd count with Charles Galliant ...1...2! Harley manages to
break free of the bridge and Wildfire looks at Charles Galliant to check it was
a two count. Troy Knight doesn't waste anytime and he pulls Sean Harley to his
feet, Harley struggles but Troy Knight subdues him with a few slaps to the face,
Knight calls Wildfire over and the two men hoist Harley up in the air with a
double team suplex. They carry him around the ring and both fall backwards and
with pin point accuracy they slam Sean Harley into the canvas. Harley arches his
back in pain as he rolls over onto his front. Wildfire gets Harley back up to
his feet and passes the limp body to Troy Knight.]
JP: These two have
certainly slowed down the charge of Sean Harley...a few minutes ago he was the
top man in this ring but he's struggling now.
Sully: Just shows you how quickly the momentum
can swing away from you in these matches.
JP: It's easy to get on a roll, but even easier
to fall right off it.
Sully: Sean Harley's going to come back though
and he can take heart from an incredible opening.
[Troy Knight lays out Sean Harley on the canvas
as Wildfire makes his way to the turnbuckle. The crowd get to their feet and
cheer on Wildfire as he climbs to the top rope and stands up on it. He makes the
signal for the Crisis and leaps off into the direction of Sean Harley. Camera
bulbs light up the area in Chicago as Troy Knight abandons the body of Sean
Harley and gets out of the way as Wildfire comes crashing down onto "Phoenix".
The body of Sean Harley spasms in pain as Wildfire connects with the Crisis and
stays on the body of Harley for another pinfall. Charles Galliant makes the
count ...1...2...3! The crowd roar with excitement as Wildfire completes the
cover and they cheer as Troy Knight puts his own body across Sean Harley and
looks for another pinfall, the crowd count with Galliant ...1...2! They look on
in disbelief as the shoulder of Sean Harley manages to move a couple of inches
off the mat and Troy Knight looks down in shock as Sean Harley opens his eyes
and pushes Troy Knight off him.]

JP: How the hell?
Sully: Sean Harley kicked out of that? The man
has hidden depths.
JP: He was battered beyond belief by the
teamwork of Wildfire and Troy Knight there.
Sully: This blows it all wide open, and Troy
Knight isn't happy about that.
[Troy Knight lets a little pressure show as he
remonstrates with referee Charles Galliant, the crowd are looking at each other
and completely stunned by the ability of Sean Harley. Wildfire looks puzzled and
doesn't seem sure what to do, he doesn't have much chance to think anymore as
Insane Wayne thunders across the ring and smashes him round the back of the head
with a clothesline. Wildfire drops to the canvas and Insane Wayne opens up a new
front against Troy Knight who turns round at the noise from arguing with Charles
Galliant and walks into the hand of Insane Wayne. The former General Manager of
the MWF gives Troy Knight an evil look before lifting him clean off the ground
and bringing him back down with a devastating choke slam.]
JP: Choke slam!
Sully: What a move!
[Insane Wayne ignores Troy Knight and instead
grabs the head of Wildfire and pulls him to his feet, Insane Wayne doesn't waste
anytime and the signal comes from him for the 'CIW'.]
JP: I hate this move...
Sully: ...why?
JP: It's just dangerous, someone could get
seriously hurt by it at some point.
Sully: Insane Wayne's a master of his trade and
he's done this move more times than me and you have...you know....spanked the
money.
JP: Tim!
[Wildfire is left standing in the centre of the
ring by Insane Wayne...he stalks around him as Wildfire struggles to stay
standing, the impact of the clothesline has obviously caused him serious
distress, Wayne grabs Wildfire from behind and spins him round and clamps his
hand on Wildfire's throat. He lifts Wildfire up and into a power bomb position.
The crowd gasp as Wildfire is brought down at a frightening pace and Wayne has
him pinned. The referee slides into position and the crowd jeer loudly as Wayne
holds Wildfire in place ...1...2...3! Wayne pushes Wildfire off him and raises
his arms in triumph at having got a pinfall.]
JP: Wayne joins the one
pinfall club, I can't believe it but Troy Knight is the only man without a
pinfall here tonight in his hometown.
Sully: This crowd won't be happy.
JP: They aren't happy that Insane Wayne's
managed to get a pinfall.
Sully: All credit to Wayne, he's already had a
match tonight and it's a measure of the man that he's still here and very much
in this match.
JP: Let's take a look at how things stand, Sean
Harley has two pinfalls and just needs to pin Troy Knight to win this final MWF
match, Insane Wayne and Wildfire have one pin fall, while Troy Knight is yet to
pin anyone and he's a former MWF World Heavyweight Champion.

[Troy Knight and Sean Harley are back on their feet and the crowd get fully
behind Troy Knight...but he faces a tough challenge as Insane Wayne gets up and
comes running at the former MWF World Heavyweight Champion. Troy Knight though
side steps and Insane Wayne hits the ropes and comes back into the fist of Troy
Knight and drops to the mat. Sean Harley is taken for a ride by Troy Knight as
he's straddled from behind and Troy Knight wraps his arms around Harley's neck
and squeezes tightly, Harley screams loudly as Troy Knight whispers something in
his air and continues to squeeze tightly...around Harley's neck. Charles
Galliant gives Knight a count of three to release the hold and he does...Harley
crawls away trying to catch his breath, as Troy Knight grabs him from behind
again, but this time Troy Knight pulls him to his feet and sends him running
into the ropes and follows him and clotheslines Sean Harley clean over the top
rope. Troy Knight shouts something down at Sean Harley before turning and
bumping straight into Insane Wayne.]
JP: Looks like Troy could be in a spot of trouble
here...
Sully: I'm sure he can handle it.
JP: He's a big boy now.
Sully: Not as big as Insane Wayne.
[Wayne grabs Knight by the throat with both hands and forces him away from
the ropes and into the centre of the ring, Wayne lifts Troy Knight slightly off
the mat and his feet dangle in mid-air. Knight kicks wildly trying to free
himself but the grip of Insane Wayne is just too strong and Knight is gasping
for breath....but a divine intervention happens. The prone body of Wildfire
suddenly becomes alive, Wildfire looks up and spots what is happening, he rolls
over and the crowd cheer loudly as Wildfire raises a fist up between the legs of
Insane Wayne and slams it hard into his lower region. Insane Wayne screws his
face up in pain as he drops Troy Knight, who lands on his feet and takes the
opportunity. He raises his foot and catches Insane Wayne with the Heaven Sent,
right to the face and Insane Wayne drops to the mat like a fly.]
JP: What a connection from Troy Knight, I think Insane
Wayne is going to need a trip to the dentist after tonight.
Sully: Incredible impact, but Knight owes a debt to Wildfire on that one.
[The crowd are on their feet applauding Troy Knight, and also Wildfire, as
Troy Knight hooks the leg of Insane Wayne and Charles Galliant is on hand, as
ever, to make the count ...1...2...3! Insane Wayne is covered and Troy Knight
gets the pinfall. Knight picks himself up and the crowd cheer as he looks for
the cover on Wildfire. Wildfire struggles as Troy Knight attempts to pin him
down.]
JP: Hang on a minute!
Sully: Wildfire just saved Troy Knight from being pinned by Insane Wayne...

hysteria.]
JP: Troy Knight's back on top...
Sully: ...where he likes to be apparently!
JP: Tim!
[Troy Knight walks towards the fallen body of Wildfire, spread eagled
underneath the turnbuckle and in the perfect position for the Rump Thump. Troy's
fans are on their feet cheering as "Troy Boy" grabs the ropes and hauls himself
up to the second rope...his young son is leaping for joy as his father jumps off
the second rope and delivers the Rump Thump to the face of the laid out
Wildfire. Wildfire can be heard screaming as Troy Knight comes down atop of him,
Troy stays seated on Wildfire's face and smiles as Charles Galliant makes the
count ...1...2...3! The fans roar as Troy Knight adds a second pinfall and Sean
Harley gets a loud jeer as he steps into the ring and Troy Knight turns to face
him. Harley has the look of an angry young man on his face as he squares up to
Troy Knight.]

Sully: Two quick pinfalls and suddenly victory is in
sight for Troy Knight...
JP: ...now he just needs to take down Sean Harley and he will be victorious
in this final MWF show.
Sully: I can't believe we're only one pinfall away from the end now JP.
JP: It's been one hell of a ride.
Sully: Harley wants this though and Troy Knight will not have it his own way.
[Troy Knight and Sean Harley stand toe to toe in the centre of the ring,
Harley chats something to Troy Knight and then pushes the former MWF World
Heavyweight Champion in the chest..."Troy Boy" takes a step back and the smile
is still on his face. Suddenly the look of Troy Knight changes and the smile
changes to a glare. Sean Harley frowns and Troy Knight unloads a right hand,
fast as a flash, that catches Sean Harley on the jaw. Harley clutches his jaw
and moves backwards, but Troy Knight steps forward and again throws a punch to
the other side of Sean Harley's jaw. Harley again moves back and holds his jaw.
Troy Knight grabs Sean Harley by the head and forces him back towards the
turnbuckle, Harley however breaks the hold and sends Troy Knight running to the
ropes. Knight comes running back and ducks a standing clothesline from
Harley...the crowd roar as Troy quickly rolls around the back of Harley and
kicks him in the back of the knee. Harley is reduced to his knees by Troy Knight
and the fans roar on "Troy Boy" as he runs to the opposite ropes and comes
running back with a dropkick that slams into the back of Harley's head.
"Phoenix" rolls clean out of the ring with the force of the move and Troy Knight
follows him to the outside.]
JP: What a kick from Troy Knight, he made Sean Harley
roll clean out of the ring.
Sully: He sure did, Harley tried to turn the offensive back on Troy Knight
there but he failed.
JP: You just sense the momentum of this match has swung away from Harley, he
made a blistering start but you can't contain that kind of intensity for a whole
match.
Sully: Troy left it late but he's dominant now, I guess that is the
difference in class... but we shouldn't write off Sean Harley yet.
[Sean Harley is down on the concrete floor outside as Troy Knight stands over
him and he slowly pulls Harley to his feet. "Troy Boy" whips Sean Harley
straight into the steel barrier that separates the fans from the wrestlers and
follows him over to where Harley slumps against it. Bobby Knight suddenly shouts
warning to his father as Jamie Harley comes running from around the other side
of the ring with a steel chair...Troy Knight turns, but it's too late...the
crowd scream as the steel chair slams into the face of Troy Knight and sends him
crashing to the floor. Troy stays face down, a trickle of blood from the
re-opened wound on his nose starts to wind itself away from his face and into
the crowd. Sean Harley gets to his feet and he smiles at the intervention of his
brother, Jamie Harley helps his brother to pull Troy Knight up to his feet and
roll him into the ring. Sean Harley climbs up onto the outside of the ring and
the crowd jeer as he takes a moment to taunt them before stepping into the ring.
Both Wildfire and Insane Wayne are down as Sean Harley hooks the leg of Troy
Knight and Charles Galliant counts ...1...2.! The crowd explode as Troy Knight
raises a shoulder and breaks free of the cover. Sean Harley looks down to see
the smiling face of Troy Knight that reaches up a hand and grabs Harley and
pushes him off. Troy Knight springs to his feet with incredible agility and
Harley gets up slowly....]
JP: Troy's winding up...
Sully: ...this is going to hurt!
[Sean Harley is wide-eyed as the boot of Troy Knight comes flying for his
face, Harley doesn't have time to blink...let alone duck...as Heaven Sent
connects with his head. Harley's neck seems to snap back and he drops slowly
onto his back...his eyes tilted up to the bright lights above him. Troy Knight
doesn't waste a second and he places an arm over Sean Harley and the referee
counts. The crowd scream the numbers with Charles Galliant as his hand rises and
falls in the warm Chicago air...1....2....3! The bell sounds and the fans leap
to their feet around the arena.]
JP: He's done it! Troy Knight has won the final ever
MWF match.
Sully: He's proved himself tonight as a true champion.
JP: Sean Harley but up a great fight, Insane Wayne and Wildfire threatened,
but in the end there is no one like "Troy Boy".
Peter Santos: And your winner, Troy Knight!
["Larger Than Life" is playing as Bobby Knight runs into the ring to be with
his father, the fans cheer loudly as Bobby unfurls a small MWF flag and his
father takes it and raises it to the crowd. Troy Knight places an arm around his
son and punches the air with delight. Sean Harley is being brought around by
Charles Galliant as Insane Wayne and Wildfire congratulate Troy Knight.]
JP: What a night it has been here, such emotional
scenes.
Sully: It's been out of this world...
JP: ...I can't believe after all this time of being on the air it's really
over.
Sully: What can we say?
JP: I don't know....just take in the atmosphere I guess.
[Troy Knight, Insane Wayne and Wildfire help Sean Harley to his feet and the
four men take a bow for the applauding crowd, each man runs to a turnbuckle and
in unison they raise their fists to the fans and the noise being generated is
incredible.]
JP: This is it then.
Sully: The final goodbye.
JP: We should never say never.
Sully: Never...
JP: ....
[JP is about to finish what he's saying, when suddenly he's cut off. The
screen goes black, no logo appears. The screen simply fades into nothing.]
