MWF Television Champion: "The Deadly One" Doomsday w/MWF
President Edward Walker
versus
Wildfire
MWF Television Championship Match
Referee: Brian Ford
Writer: Steven Avigne
JP: MAYhem is turning out to be one
spectacular pay-per-view.
Sully: And to make it even better we have
the Television title match next, when we will see Doomsday face
Wildfire. Wildfire earned this match after beating Steven Douglas a
few weeks ago.
["I will never bother you, I will never promise to..." is heard as
Doomsday enters the arena to the tunes of "You Know You're Right" by
Nirvana. In a blood red trenchcoat he walks to the ring basking in
the crowds cheers. He enters the ring and stands on the second rope,
disrobing his trenchcoat unveiling his Television title.]
Peter Santos: The following contest is scheduled for one fall
and it is for the MWF Television title, making his way to the ring,
weighing in at three hundred-ten pounds, he is the MWF Television
champion, The Deadly One...Doomsday!
[Soon after entering the ring is heard Marilyn Mansons' "The
Beautiful People." The crowds again go insane for the pint-sized
wonder as he makes his way to the ring. Jumping on the top rope the
crowd again goes crazy for the number one contender.]
Peter Santos: And the challenger, from Detroit, Michigan,
weighing in at two hundred-ten pounds, Wildfire!
JP: Even though Doomsday has a distinct
height advantage, Wildfire has shown time and time again that his
short stature has no affect on his winning ways.
[The two lock eyes in the ring and are awaiting for the other to
make the first move, when all of the sudden "Woke Up This Morning" by
Nickelback hits the public address system.]
Sully: What the hell? That is Steven
Douglas' music!
[As soon as he finishes the statement Steven Douglas enters
through the curtains, accompanied by the fans boos and cheers. He
flips them all off but the crowd loves it. He walks down to the ring
dressed in jean shorts and a referee shirt. He goes into the ring and
flips both competitors off, leaving the two combatants puzzled.
Douglas goes to the top rope, then grabs a mike.]
Steven Douglas: I may not have a match
tonight, but you must be damn sure that I am going to be involved one
way or another! Brian Ford, get the hell out of the ring, because
ladies and gentlemen allow me to introduce the special guest referee
for this contest, Me!
JP: What?! Douglas is the referee for the
match?
Sully: Now this gets interesting, will he be
fair or screw them both over?!
[Brian Ford heads backstage as Wildfire and Doomsday are still
confused and a little pissed. Douglas flips them both off, and while
Wildfire is still dazed and confused Doomsday takes advantage and
knocks Wildfire from behind.]
Sully: Wildfire needs to stay focused if he
wants to win this match, especially now since the man he beat for the
number one contender ship is the referee!
[Doomsday kicks the smaller challenger, and then puts a foot on
his throat pulling the ropes for leverage. Douglas doesn't count
because it is an illegal move, and Doomsday holds the boot for a good
ten seconds. Doomsday and Douglas share mean glances as Wildfire lays
in pain. While Doomsday is glaring at Douglas, Wildfire nails "The
Deadly One" with a kick to the chin as he was laying on the mat in
pain.]
JP: Neither wrestler can concentrate on
eachother!
Sully: When they trained for this match they
trained to face one man, but now with Douglas here it's like a triple
threat match!
JP: Now don't say that, Douglas has been
pretty fair so far.
[Doomsday goes to the corner post and Wildfire dropkicks him in
the midsection causing the champ to fall to the mat. Wildfire backs
up, charges and dropkicks Doomsdays' head and goes for a quick pin
1...2...kickout with a passion.]
Sully: Did he honestly think he could beat
the champ that easily?
[Wildfire goes to the top rope as the groggy Doomsday gets to his
feet. Wildfire attempts a cross body slam but is caught by the
stronger Doomsday and is given a massive sidewalk slam. Doomsday goes
for the pin and almost smothers the much smaller Wildfire
1...2...shoulder up by the challenger.]
JP: I thought it was over there for
sure!
Sully: Don't underestimate Wildfire! He is a
contender!
JP: And I guess we shouldn't underestimate
Douglas either, he has counted both pin falls fairly.
[Doomsday picks up Wildfire by the hair and gets him in a suplex
position. He lifts Wildfire high in the air and leaves him there for
what seems like a lifetime, and then comes down with a powerful
brainbuster slam.]
JP: Massive slam!
[Doomsday goes for a pin 1...2...Doomsday picks up Wildfire and
says that he isn't done with him yet. Douglas yells at Doomsday
saying that if he goes for a pin, he has to stick with it. Doomsday
argues with Douglas long enough for Wildfire to jump on the champion
and hit a hurancanrana. Instead of pinning him he goes to the top
rope to hit the Crisis. He taunts the crowd, and Douglas starts to
count telling Wildfire to hit the move or get off the turnbuckle.
Wildfire and Douglas argue as Doomsday gets back up and throws
Wildfire from the top rope to the outside floor.]
Sully: They need to keep their eyes on each
other and forget about Douglas!
[Doomsday uncharacteristically goes to the top rope and waits for
Wildfire to stand up. When Wildfire stands, the quick competitor he
is, jumps and knocks the ropes causing Doomsday to land with one leg
on either side of the ropes.]
JP: That is every mans worst
nightmare!
Sully: That nightmare is now a reality for
the six foot ten Doomsday!
[Wildfire goes under the ring and pulls out a table and sets it
up. Douglas doesn't count becuase he wants to see what Wildfire will
come up with now.]
Sully: This isn't a tables match!
JP: Sully you have to realize that neither
Doomsday, Douglas or Wildfire care about the rules!
[Wildfire goes to the ring apron and jumps on the second rope and
then on to Doomsdays' head looking to hit the hurancanrana, but
Doomsday grabs Wildfire and sit down powerbombs him through the
table, knocking both competitors almost out cold. Douglas is amazed
by this and walks to the floor to check on the two competitors. He
looks at them as he sees that Wildfire is cut open by a piece of
table, and that Doomsday is slowly rising.]
JP: Oh my God! What a move! Doomsday just
sent himself and Wildfire to the ground!
Sully: That is how bad these two competitors
want this win! This is an important match on the worlds greatest
stage!
[Doomsday rises in obvious pain and picks up the bloody Wildfire.
He knocks a few punches into the challengers head and then picks him
up over his head, and drops him on the barrier. Douglas refuses to
count these two out as he too wants to see what else will happen.
Doomsday picks the injured Wildfire and as he tries to get a kick in,
Wildfire hits a dropkick out of nowhere knocking Doomsday up the
ramp.]
Sully: Where are they going?
JP: They're bringing the match outside the
ring area!
Sully: They are both stepping it up for the
pay per view!
[Wildfire walks up the ramp and kicks Doomsday back to the ground.
Doomsday lays in agony on the ramp while Wildfire goes and stands on
the barrier next to the ramp.]
JP: What is he doing?
[The crowd cheers and Wildfire jumps off the barrier and hits a
legdrop onto Doomsday who was laying on the ramp.]
Sully: He jumped onto Doomsday, and he not
only hit the Television champ but also the steel ramp!
[Wildfire lays and grabs his tailbone area, while Doomsday lays
grabbing his throat. Wildfire is the first one to rise, as Steven
Douglas watches entertainingly. Wildfire tries to drag the heavy
Doomsday up the ramp but can't. As he is trying Doomsday kicks
Wildfire and picks him up onto his shoulder. He slowly walks up the
ramp to the left side of the stage.]
JP: Where the hell is he going?
Sully: He's carrying Wildfire like he's a
rag doll.
[With Wildfire on his shoulder, Doomsday goes to the side of the
stage and starts to climb the one hundred eighty foot MAYhem set.
Wildfire begins to get back his senses but barely. Doomsday reaches
the top of the set as Steven Douglas stands at the bottom waiting to
see what will happen.]
Sully: That's got to be a good one hundred
fifty feet up!
JP: Hundred eighty to be exact.
[When they reach the top Wildfire slips off Doomsdays shoulder and
kicks his back. Doomsday wobbles a bit, but keeps him balance to stay
on the top of the structure.]
Sully: He almost fell off the top!
[They both stand up and exchange right hands, one after another
for a long while. Wildfire blocks one of Doomsdays punches and then
it is just Wildfire punching. He jumps on Doomsday and gets in
position for a hurancanrana.]
JP: He is going to hurancanrana him right
off the structure!
[Wildfire sinks to pull Doomsday down, but "The Deadly One" brings
him back up, and powerbombs the five foot eight Wildfire one hundred
eighty feet to an area full of cable and electrical wires. The crowd
is silent as camera flashes are seen all over. After the move is done
the crowd yells, "Holy S***!" as does Douglas who is standing right
near the battered Wildfire.]
Sully: OH MY GOD!
JP: Jesus Christ! Wildfire has just been
powerbombed one hundred eighty feet to the ground.
[Doomsday stands up there and gazes at what is left of Wildfire.
He looks up at the fans and seems to have a crazed look in his eyes.
The crowd is waiting to see what he does next, and then all of the
sudden...]
JP: NO HE DID NOT JUST DO THAT!
[Doomsday jumps off the massive structure and attempts a flying
elbow onto Wildfire, but misses and lands into another part of the
cable and such.]
Sully: That is the risk in jumping off of a
big of a structure as that, you have no accuracy in where you
land.
[The crowd goes insane as both competitors aren't moving at all.
Almost three minutes go by until even a small shrug of the leg is
seen by either wrestlers. Steven Douglas sees them laying.]
Steven Douglas: This is taking too long,
they might never get up!
[Douglas decides to grab Wildfire on one shoulder and Doomsday on
another and walks with them both on his shoulders to the ring and
rolls them both in.]
JP: Douglas is trying to keep this match
going, but I don't think it will be possible seeing as both
competitors are out cold.
[Another long time is waited until either even move, and again
Douglas is using his authority to his advantage. He gets Doomsday and
hits the Texas Two Step, and doesn't let go until Doomsday wakes up.
He leaves Doomsday there and then walks to Wildfire, picking him up
and hitting the Wake Up. The finisher did just as it's said to as
Wildfire woke up. Both Doomsday and Wildfire are down, but Wildfire
gets up first. He goes to Douglas, yelling at him for hitting the
Wake Up on him. Wildfire is seeing red, and almost hits Douglas,
until Douglas points behind Wildfire. Wildfire turns around only to
see Doomsday standing up. Doomsday grabs Wildfire by the throat and
nails the Lock-N-Load and goes for the pin 1...2...3! Douglas counts
the pin.]
Peter Santos: Here is your winner and still MWF Television
champion, Doomsday!
Sully: Doomsday picks up the win!
JP: He retains his title after a hard fought
bout.
[Douglas gets Doomsdays Television title and as soon as Doomsday
goes to grab it, Douglas pulls it away and just holds it for a while.
Wildfire stands up and all three men stare at eachother as Douglas
slowly hands Doomsday the Television title. He leaves the ring, and
not long after Wildfire exits too. Doomsday stands and basks in the
cheers.]
JP: What a match! The Television title is
still in Doomsdays control, but for how much longer?
Sully: I'm not sure, I guess we will have to
wait and see!
JP: That means tomorrow night at Dynamite
we're going to see a fight for the Number One Contender spot as
Douglas, Harley and Wildfire battle it out for another shot at
Doomsday.
Sully: All three men have so much to prove,
especially Sean Harley, this could be his chance to really break back
into the big time.
JP: For Steven Douglas it's a bigger chance
than he'll ever have for most of his career....for Widlfire he just
needs to recover after an incredible match.
Sully: Wildfire's going to be
eghausted...
JP: ....two matches in two days is a very
demanding feat.
Sully: It sure is.
JP: We're going to take a break now, but
when we come back we're going to be seeing the last ever Scotty Heart
match.
Sully: A sad day for the MWF as this guy
retires, wrestling Troy Knight....what a way to go out, I just hope
he doesn't let Troy Knight get on top.
JP: Troy has promised quite a match for
tonight, so has Scotty...these two men are both greats in their own
right and tonight gives them a chance to show everyone that.
Sully: Expect plenty of emotion, right after
this!
