WEW Continental Champion: "Rat Bastard" Gutter Rat

MWF World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match

Referee: Charles Galliant

Writer: Ed Walker

JP: Well Sully I hope you're ready for this match.

Sully: Of course I am, it's a battle that will effectively decide who should lead the MWF in their battle against the WEW.

JP: Thunder Bull has to be the favourite, he's on a good roll right now and his part in Cyberslam is fast becoming established.

Sully: Not as established as Gutter Rat...

JP: ..."Rat Bastard" has really been at the forefront of the MWF attack against WEW and long may he continue to lead us. But tonight could be a step too far for "Rat Bastard", he's already been through that incredible match with Rob Burns on Cyberslam and now he finds himself having been screwed out of the MWF Television Championship in a great match with Gunman Stinger. I don't think his confidence will be too high.

Sully: He's still a dangerous wrestler, but President Wayne got him by the tail against Gunman Stinger and really made him pay.

JP: CEO Walker is furious with the actions of the MWF President and something tells me it will all come to a head tonight at Authority.

Sully: When push comes to shove it'll be interesting to see how the MWF CEO reacts to the unruly President.

JP: Walker's worked so hard to get the MWF in a good position but he's constantly being undermined by the devious Wayne.

Sully: As Tom Halliday said, "you can take the man out of wrestling, but you can't take the wrestling out of the man".

[Peter Santos, the MWF's announcer is standing in the middle of the ring and he raises his hand for attention from the crowd. They start to fall silent and Santos prepares for the announcements.]

Peter Santos: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is for the Maximum Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Championship and is a triple threat match!

[The crowd roar in response to this announcement and Peter Santos nods his appreciation at their reaction. He continues over their dull roar.]

Peter Santos: Introducing first, weighing in at 275 lbs., he is the Maximum Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Champion, "The Perfector of Pain" Thunder Bull!

[The crowd roar with anger as "A Place For My Head" by Linkin Park hits the PA system and "The Perfector of Pain" is shown on the MaxiTron winning the MWF World Heavyweight Championship against Doomsday in the Thunderdome match. Purple light starts to fill the entrance way and smoke pours out from behind the curtain and an extremely bright white light bursts from the arena roof and it focuses on the figure of Thunder Bull that now walks onto the entrance way. The crowd jeer as he raises his arms and displays the MWF World Heavyweight Championship.]

JP: Thunder Bull is judged by the fans to have turned against them and his battles with Doomsday helped cement his position as a hated MWF wrestler.

Sully: I don't understand why, he's easily the most talented wrestler in the MWF's ranks at the moment.

JP: He has talent but some feels he's a bit misguided.

Sully: Misguided, if anything Thunder Bull is the most focused wrestler in the MWF's history.

[Thunder Bull walks down the entrance ramp, the bright white light following him as he walks...illuminating his every movement and casting out a long shadow in front of him that stretches to the ring and makes him appear far taller than he actually is. He reaches the ring and climbs up onto the ring apron, the crowd boo and shout insults as he ducks into the ring and taunts the fans by holding the MWF World Heavyweight Championship up to the heavens. Referee Charles Galliant shakes the hand of Thunder Bull and takes the belt from his grasp.]

Peter Santos: And the first challenger, weighing in at 310 lbs., from New York City, "The Deadly One" Doomsday!

[The crowd cheer loudly as "You Know You're Right" by Nirvana hits the PA system and the former MWF World Heavyweight Champion walks straight out onto the entrance way. His massive frame is highlighted further as he raises his arms and as he drops them an array of fireworks explode from behind him and cause the crowd to gasp.]

JP: The old fighter, Doomsday is wrestling in his 50th MWF match tonight.

Sully: What a legend, he really is. Even those who hate him have to admit that despite everything he's still here and giving his all to the MWF.

JP: Nothing beats sheer determination and that's what Doomsday has in abundance.

Sully: But tonight it might just be too much for him, he's not got that lucky streak at the moment.

["The Deadly One" smiles and greets the fans as he walks down the entrance ramp, he clearly seems to be enjoying the moment as he shakes hands with a woman who he obviously knows. He looks up and spots Thunder Bull standing in the ring, watching him...the crowd cheer as Doomsday raises his hand to point at Thunder Bull and starts to roar challenges. The MWF World Heavyweight Champion doesn't say a word, he just drops his head slightly to the side and almost smiles as Doomsday shouts with the crowd roaring him on.]

JP: Doomsday is getting himself fired up tonight, what he needs to do is wrestle and enjoy it.

Sully: It's a special occasion and he'd love to mark it by becoming the MWF World Heavyweight Champion for a third time which would equal the record of Anarkist.

JP: Now there was an MWF legend, Anarkist.

Sully: What a wrestler.

[Doomsday reaches the ring and he climbs straight up over the top rope and looks Thunder Bull square in the eyes, the two men stay locked in a gaze until Charles Galliant walks over and exchanges words with "The Deadly One". Peter Santos raises his mic again and the crowd turn to the entrance way.]

Peter Santos: And the second challenger, weighing in at 275 lbs., from The Alleys of Guttersville, he is the Worldwide Entertainment Wrestling Continental Champion, "Rat Bastard" Gutter Rat!

[A roar goes up from the crowd and the sound of "More Human Than Human" by Rob Zombie blasts from the PA system. The MaxiTron displays footage of Gutter Rat's battle against the WEW and grey lights fill the entrance way...a dirty streak of brown light focuses on the actual entrance and the crowd cheer as Gutter Rat staggers out. The body of Gutter Rat is battered and bruised, blood is dried and crusted to his skin and the WEW Continental Championship is attached to his waist.]

JP: Good Lord! I don't think Gutter Rat can really walk and yet he's still out here to wrestle in the main event.

Sully: How did he even get passed fit to wrestle? Walker's the insane one.

JP: Poor "Rat Bastard".

Sully: It was Gutter Rat's choice to accept all these matches and now he must accept his fate.

[Gutter Rat has to grip the guardrails on the entrance ramp as he staggers down towards the ring, lurching from side to side. Doomsday and Thunder Bull look a little concerned at the condition of their opponent, and Charles Galliant speaks frantically with Peter Santos.]

JP: I don't know if Charles Galliant will let Gutter Rat wrestle tonight, he's an experienced referee and he knows how high the stakes are.

Sully: Gutter Rat's brought himself out here, it's his actions and his consequences.

JP: We all know Gutter Rat isn't all there in the mind but this really is just too much.

Sully: He'll need one hell of an authority to tell him he can't wrestle here tonight.

["Rat Bastard" reaches the ring and he falls against the ring apron, and then pulls himself up and rolls under the bottom rope. Doomsday and Thunder Bull exchange glances as Charles Galliant walks over to give Gutter Rat a hand, but the crowd roar as "Rat Bastard" pushes away the hand of Galliant and pulls himself up using the ropes. He turns to face his opponents, unclipping the WEW Continental Championship from his waist and waving at them.]

JP: It's a prize that no doubt Gutter Rat is very proud of, he went over there and stood against the vast army of WEW and came back with gold.

Sully: One man's mission, Gutter Rat is one great solo artist but I'm not sure how much of a team player he really is.

JP: That's true, he's not one for team sports.

Sully: He's one hell of a wrestler though and Thunder Bull will need to be on top form even against a half crippled Gutter Rat.

[The bell sounds as Charles Galliant takes the belt from Gutter Rat, as soon as the belt is out of his hands "Rat Bastard" staggers forward and summoning strength he leaps up and grabs Thunder Bull round the neck...the MWF World Heavyweight Champion is caught off guard and Gutter Rat forces him to the mat. His hands are around the throat of Thunder Bull and "The Perfector of Pain" is in trouble...he screams for help as Gutter Rat applies the illegal choke, throttling the MWF World Heavyweight Champion. Charles Galliant turns round from handing the belt to Peter Santos to see Gutter Rat with his hands around the throat of Thunder Bull, he runs across and calls for Gutter Rat to remove himself, he counts ....1.....2.....3.....the fans breathe a sight of relief as Gutter Rat lets go of Thunder Bull and narrowly avoids being disqualified.]

JP: That was a close one, Thunder Bull was caught completely off guard by Gutter Rat.

Sully: That's what I'm talking about, just because Gutter Rat's crippled doesn't mean he isn't a challenge.

JP: He will never, ever, back down from a fight.

Sully: Here goes Doomsday...

[The fans cheer on Doomsday as he grabs Gutter Rat from behind and lifts him up, he executes a german suplex that sends Gutter Rat flying back over the head of "The Deadly One" and landing very near the turnbuckle. Doomsday roars with delight and leans down to pick up Thunder Bull...the MWF World Heavyweight Champion has red marks around his neck and it's only made worse as a chop from Doomsday catches Thunder Bull across the neck. The crowd roar as Doomsday works this advantage and a chop goes across the chest of Thunder Bull this time. The crowd respond with cheers as Doomsday chops again across "The Perfector of Pain" and then grabs Thunder Bull and whips him into the ropes. The MWF World Heavyweight Champion comes running back and the crowd roar as Doomsday lifts up his foot and knocks Thunder Bull down with a big boot.]

JP: The size of Doomsday is going to be a factor in this match, he's quite a bit bigger than the other two men in this match.

Sully: Size isn't everything, Thunder Bull is quite bit smaller than Doomsday but he's far more agile.

JP: Doomsday just needs to get his opponents into corners and then he can brawl with them.

Sully: He's dominating so far.

[Gutter Rat is starting to get up...he looks completely beaten to a pulp as he swivels round and almost loses his footing. He staggers towards Doomsday and "The Deadly One" is waiting. The former two time MWF World Heavyweight Champion locks his hand around the neck of Gutter Rat and looks for the Lock-N-Load. The fans roar as Doomsday lifts up Gutter Rat and holds him up in the air with one hand....he roars a challenge and the ring shakes as "Rat Bastard" is brought down to a crumpled heap with the massive move. Doomsday stands for a moment, looking down at the figure of Gutter Rat that is sprawled on the mat. Thunder Bull is pulling himself back up as Doomsday goes down to cover Gutter Rat, Charles Galliant counts ...1....2! Thunder Bull brings up the count, as he drops an elbow onto the back of Doomsday.]

JP: An important interception from Thunder Bull there.

Sully: His MWF World Heavyweight Championship was in danger there but he was alive and alert.

JP: Gutter Rat's being beaten even more now...he suffered at the hands of Rob Burns and Johnny Karagious on Thursday, and again earlier tonight at the hands of Gunman Stinger and President Wayne.

Sully: It's worrying to say the least, his health must be deteriorating fast.

[Gutter Rat is sprawled on his back and hardly breathing as Doomsday rolls over holding his back, Thunder Bull follows him and a stamp to the mid section has the crowd jeering him. Doomsday attempts to stand using the ropes, but he's grappled from behind by the MWF World Heavyweight Champion. Thunder Bull lifts up Doomsday and the crowd stop jeering to marvel at his strength as he executes a tilt-a-whirl slam...the ring shakes on impact and Thunder Bull looks for a quick cover ...1...2! Doomsday rolls the shoulder and Thunder Bull doesn't waste anytime in getting Doomsday back up to his feet.]

JP: That's why Thunder Bull is so dangerous, he's so quick off the mark.

Sully: He makes Doomsday look very slow and very sluggish.

JP: Gutter Rat's still not moving...

Sully: ...I think we should get a medical team ready.

[Thunder Bull sends Doomsday into the ropes with an irish whip and the crowd jeer as Doomsday is sent over the top rope as Thunder Bull clotheslines him. Doomsday thuds to the outside as Thunder Bull turns round to focus on Gutter Rat. "Rat Bastard" is pulled up to his feet and the crowd roar as he breaks free of Thunder Bull's grasp...but the MWF World Heavyweight Champion runs at Gutter Rat with a clothesline, but Gutter Rat looks for a short arms clothesline. Both men collide and the crowd roar as Charles Galliant is caught up in the chaos and is dropped to the canvas, as both Gutter Rat and Thunder Bull fall down.]

JP: Whoah! Everyone is down.

Sully: What impact...what impact.

JP: Doomsday's on the outside, Gutter Rat and Thunder Bull are down in the ring.

Sully: Can someone take advantage?

[As Doomsday stands outside the ring from out of the crowd comes Pit Bull and smashes a bottle over his head and as he staggers a bit you see the blood begin to run from his head, while he was staggered Benoit hops over the security railing and goes to irish whip Doomsday into the steel steps but he reverses and Benoit goes slamming into the stairs. Doomsday couldn't capitalise as he winces and holds his head but Benoit isn't moving, so Doomsday walks over with a quick pace and goes to boot Benoit in the face but he moves and Doomsday causes the steps to separate and fall to their side. With Doomsday trying to gain is footing on the toppled steps Benoit clips him in his knee, causing him to fall to his back and twist his ankle in the steps.

Sully: This is ridiculous, what the hell is the ref doing does he not see what's going on?

JP: Well he has two other maniacs to worry about Sully. Why don't you do something about it?

[With that Misery jumps out of the crowd wearing simple street clothes and she carrying a thick chain, and Benoit is landing a knee right to the head of Doomsday causing him to sit up and soon he his being lifted to his feet By Benoit. Benoit goes to irish whip him into the turnbuckle post but again Doomsday reverses and sends Benoit head first into the post sending him flat spinning a few feet away, as Doomsday goes to walk towards Benoit he quickly turns around and catches Misery in the act of trying to hit him from behind and she stops in her tracks and falls to her backside and scurries away dropping the chain in the process. Doomsday then picks up the chain and wraps much of it around his hand and walks over to a dazed Benoit who has staggered to his feet and is leaning on the security railing, seeing that Doomsday rears back and charges at Benoit and slams that chains fist into the bleeding head of Benoit and sits him down and continues to lay the metal to the top of Benoit's head.]

Sully: That's right give him his act right Doomsday

JP: Teach that sorry piece of crap a lesson!

[While Doomsday is punching the crap out of Benoit, Misery once again jumps Doomsday from behind and this time he goes down like a ton of bricks screaming in pain, and as Misery gets up from the downed Doomsday you see she's got that taser again and she shows it to the crowd all proud and everything. The fans rain down their boos and jeers and hits him a couple more times with the taser then barks some orders at Benoit who slowly gets to his feet and drags Doomsdays carcass over to the announce table by his leg.]

Sully: What the hell do you think you're doing?!

JP: You're an idiot! Why don't you go back in the whole you crawled out of!

[With those words Benoit has reached the table and stops and releases his leg and walks over to Sully and J.P.]

Benoit: You two jackasses never know when to shut up do ya?

[With no warning Benoit drops Sully with a stiff right and JP escapes him and is now in the crowd while Sully is out on his back. That's when he returns his attentions to Doomsday struggling to get him up but when he does he rolls him onto the announce table and before goes on the apron to distract the ref she hits him a couple more times with the taser, meanwhile when Misery goes and distracts the ref Benoit quickly hops onto the apron and then the tops rope and without stalling he leaps of the top rope crashing through Doomsday and the announces table and the arena explodes into boos. The two men lay there bloody and dazed Doomsday more than Benoit, he's really feeling it in his midsection but as he gets to his feet all of a sudden streaming out the back come security and Madison's finest and the security quickly restrains Benoit and the cops cuff him and you can see Misery slip away leaving the area and Benoit is laughing . All of a sudden surrounded by more cops Ed Walker comes out and they meet halfway and as Walker gets closer the he stops and gets into Benoit's bloody face who has got a big smile and snicker.]

Walker: Listen up dumbass, you don't work here and you definitely don't belong here, so now you are property of the Wisconsin State Prison system.

[Walker goes to check on Doomsday but before he does he smacks the taste out of Benoit's mouth angering Benoit who starts to goes ballistic but there is too much security and the pick him up off his feet and begin to carry him out of the arena as he tries to fight them off.]

JP: That's right Walker, show Benoit just where his place is. I'm afraid we're going to be without Sully for a few moments, he's having medical attention for that nasty blow he took from Eddie Benoit.

[The crowd suddenly roar with jeers as the MWF President comes out onto the entrance way, he walks down to where Walker is standing half way down the entrance ramp. Back in the ring Thunder Bull has Gutter Rat up, but Gutter Rat manages to block a punch and executes a DDT on Thunder Bull.]

Walker: Wayne....Wayne....don't you dare go to that ring.

[The MWF President completely ignores his boss and walks straight past him, Walker attempts to grab Wayne's arm but the MWF President pushes Walker away.]

JP: He's gone mad...Insane Wayne's is deliberately disobeying the MWF CEO, the man who employs him.

[Gutter Rat is picking up the MWF World Heavyweight Champion and he lets Thunder Bull stand in the middle of the ring, he walks away from where Thunder Bull is and makes the sign for the Proverbial Train Wreck. The crowd roar, but their cheers turn to desperation as the MWF President slides into the ring behind "Rat Bastard". Gutter Rat turns round but he can't react in time as Wayne lands a good right hand to the face of "Rat Bastard", he grapples him and executes the CIW. The ring shakes with the impact of the move, as Thunder Bull staggers over and drops down, he hooks the leg as President Wayne grabs Charles Galliant and brings him around. Galliant crawls across and executes the count ...1....2....3!]

JP: What!? President Wayne has screwed over the MWF again, this can't keep happening, Walker needs to act now.

Sully: I'm back!

JP: You feeling alright?

Sully: I just saw what happened, Walker's going to go insane when he gets face to face with the MWF President.

Peter Santos: And your winner, through pin fall, and still Maximum Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Champion, Thunder Bull!

[The MWF CEO is back on his feet and striding down the entrance ramp, the MWF President is thrown a microphone and he awaits the arrival of the MWF CEO. Walker climbs up into the ring and walks straight up to the MWF President, Wayne and Walker stand toe to toe, face to face, nose to nose...]

JP: This is going to be viscous, these two look mightily annoyed.

Sully: I'm not sure I want to hear this.

JP: Walker's going to blow a fuse right here, he looks absolutely livid with what President Wayne has said.

[Walker raises the microphone to his lips and speaks.]

Walker: MWF President Insane Wayne, tonight at Authority you have disgraced the company you represent.

Wayne: Disgraced? You think I'm disgracing this company?

Walker: Yes. What you have done is unforgivable, you have meddled where you don't belong...you've ruined two perfectly good matches.

Wayne: That's funny, I thought by appearing myself I made them better.

Walker: Better? Better? Oh, Wayne, you really have lost your mind. I am doing my best to protect this company from the WEW and you're here constantly undermining me.

Wayne: Well, what are you going to do Walker?

[Walker turns away from the MWF President and takes a few steps back. He turns to face back to Wayne and with a slightly look of sadness in his eyes he speaks.]

Walker: I'm sorry Wayne, but this is my decision.

Wayne: What decision?

Walker: You're no longer the MWF President.

[The crowd gasp in shock, the microphone falls from the hand of Insane Wayne and makes a dull thud on the canvas. Wayne slowly walks past the MWF CEO and continues up the entrance ramp, his face looks shocked and angered all at once.]

JP: Good Lord! The MWF President has just been fired by the MWF CEO.

Sully: Walker's mad...he'll never find as good a President as Insane Wayne!

JP: Chaos tonight at Authority and the crowd are in shock...

Sully: ...Insane Wayne is fired from the position of the Maximum Wrestling Federation President, but he's not fired completely.

JP: That's true, Walker just said he wasn't the MWF President.

Sully: This isn't the end of Wayne.

[The MWF CEO passes the microphone back to Peter Santos as the camera cuts to the backstage area where we can see Insane Wayne walking through.]

JP: There's Wayne...

Sully: He looks furious.

[Insane Wayne turns the corner and walks towards the sign saying 'Exit', he pushes open the door and reveals the frozen and snow filled parking lot. He walks out and ignores the security guards, he rips off his blazer and slings it at a nearby car.]

Wayne: Fuck Walker...

[Wayne continues to walk through the snow, his feet leaving footprints in the snow as he rips off his tie and throws it on the ground.]

Wayne: Fuck Authority...

[The former MWF President pulls off his shoes...hopping along and he takes his shows and throws them through a nearby car window that sets off an alarm. The camera focuses in on Wayne as he rips the buttons off his shirt and throws it on the ground, his trousers follow and he stands there, shaking in the middle of the parking lot in nothing but socks and boxers. His face is wild, he runs a hand through his messy hair and screams.]

Wayne: I'M INSANE FUCKING WAYNE!

[The camera cuts out and the credits of Authority roll.]
