MWF Tag Team Champion: Mak w/Sozzey
MWF Xtreme Championship No.1 Contender Hardcore Match

JP: I'm sure The Grudge will be watching this match
closely.
Sully: The winner of this match will go on to face him at a later date, and
these two men won't give an inch after what happened on Dynamite.
JP: Mak and ViperJ both came close to becoming the MWF Xtreme Champion but it
was The Grudge who pipped them to it.
Sully: Mak was said to be furious that he managed to lose the match but there
was no disrespect in losing to either of ViperJ or The Grudge.
JP: The Grudge is a vastly improved wrestler since he split from President
Wayne...a bold and wise move.
Sully: I don't think it is, he lost having that extra help in his corner and
now he's all alone.
[The crowd cheer as Peter Santos makes his way into the ring for the first
time tonight, he walks around the ring for a few moments before raising the mic
to his lips and bellowing.]
Peter Santos: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is for the Maximum
Wrestling Federation Xtreme Championship No.1 Contender spot and is a hardcore
match.
[The fans cheer at this announcement, with anticipation of a great match
between two relatively equal wrestlers in terms of ability.]
JP: Who do you think is going to win then Sully?
Sully: It's a tough one John...Mak's the more experienced wrestler but ViperJ
has been showing positive signs lately.
JP: I think ViperJ is the future of the MWF, he's really increased his work
rate as of late and it could make all the difference in tonight's match.
Sully: Mak's been here before though and knows his way around the ring
better.
Peter Santos: Introducing first, weighing in at 230 lbs., from Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada, accompanied by his fianc�e Jane, Viper J!
[The crowd cheer loudly as "Turn It Up, We're Going Down" by Crowned King
hits the PA system and ViperJ walks out from behind the MWF Authority curtain
with his fianc�e on his arm. He waves to the fans and blue lights are splashed
all around him and Jane.]
JP: What a beautiful couple they make...I hope they
have the wedding on MWF television.
Sully: They might well do that, but if they do I expect there to be lots of
free beer and food.
JP: I'm sure there will be.
Sully: Excellent!
[ViperJ and Jane shake hands of the fans as they walk down the entrance ramp,
thanking them for coming and pausing for a photo from one eager snapper.]
JP: There is this sense amongst the MWF management now
that ViperJ has what it takes to make that step up...he just needs a couple more
matches under his belt and then he'll have enough experience.
Sully: I think he needs to guidance of a more experienced wrestler.
JP: You saw him attempt to save Doomsday before....perhaps they could bring
their tag team action back?
Sully: That would be interesting and if it happened then this wouldn't be the
last time we see ViperJ and Mak face off against one another.
[ViperJ reaches the ring and he helps Jane up the steps and they climb
through the middle rope, and wave to the crowd from inside the ring. Referee
Brian Ford shakes their hands and Jane gives him a peck on the cheek, to which
Brian Ford turns bright red. ViperJ gives a nod to Peter Santos and suddenly the
entrance way turns yellow and black...as Peter Santos bellows.]
Peter Santos: And the opponent, weighing in at 280 lbs., from New York
City, accompanied by his tag team partner Sozzey, he is one half of the Maximum
Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions, Mak!
[Linkin Park's "Numb" hits the PA system and out from the back in a blaze of
yellow and black lights come the MWF Tag Team Champions. Mak leads in front of
Sozzey and they pause for a moment on the entrance way to soak up the adulation
of the crowd and display their MWF Tag Team Championship belts to the hoard of
fans.]
JP: Many call them the best tag team the MWF has ever
had.
Sully: That can't be true, I always thought the "Canadian Connection" were
the best.
JP: Rick Jones and Hart Evans were amazing but I'm not sure if they were as
consistently good as "Kronik" who have been competing for a long time now in the
MWF.
Sully: The big question amongst MWF fans at the moment is who is better? Mak
or Sozzey?
["Kronik" are nearing the ring, and Sozzey takes Mak's half of the MWF Tag
Team Championships and pauses on the outside as Mak climbs into the ring and
walks up to ViperJ who stands protecting his future wife. Jane removes herself
from the ring as ViperJ and Mak go face to face. Mak trash talks at ViperJ and
points at Jane, ViperJ laughs and Mak doesn't know quite what to make of it.
ViperJ chats something back to Mak and the crowd roar as Mak obviously takes
offence and pushes ViperJ in the chest. ViperJ goes back slightly but stays on
his feet, he signals to Mak for the fight to start and the bell sounds.]
JP: These two men certainly have some heat between
them...
Sully: ...I'd like to have heard what ViperJ had to say to Mak just then.
JP: I don't think it would of been very pleasant.
Sully: It certainly got under the skin of the MWF Tag Team Champion.
[Mak lumbers forward and looks to grapple ViperJ but the MWF Tag Team
Champion misses the chance as ViperJ dodges from side to side and he ducks round
behind Mak and chops him hard across the back. Mak spins around and catches a
right hand from ViperJ right to the jaw, Mak holds his jaw but doesn't have time
to recover as ViperJ hits another right hand that stings the eye of Mak. The MWF
Tag Team Champion is in trouble as he is forced backwards and ViperJ looks for
the grapple, and the crowd cheer as he gets it and then executes a snap suplex
that lays out Mak onto the canvas.]
JP: Good movement from ViperJ, he looks awake and alive
at Authority.
Sully: He realises that a victory at a major event like Authority could
really benefit his career.
JP: It most certainly can, if you win at pay - per - views it almost
guarantees that you get some sort of recognition.
Sully: Even if it's the opening match of the night like tonight.
[Mak is getting to his feet, not pausing to recover from the stinging right
hands of ViperJ. Jane cheers on her future husband as he locks up with Mak and
despite having less weight behind him, he manages to push Mak off balance and
gets around the side of him...he hits a side russian leg sweep that has Mak
smashes down onto his back. ViperJ looks for an early cover ...1....2! Mak is
able to roll the shoulder as Brian Ford signals the two count.]
JP: That's one thing I've noticed about ViperJ/
Sully: What's that?
JP: He will always look for the early cover if he gets the chance...it helps
put his opponents on the defensive.
Sully: Maybe so, but it's also a bit foolish. He knows
he's not going to get a wrestler as experienced as Mak so early in the
match...he should be kicking his head in right about now, not looking for the
cover.
[ViperJ pulls Mak to his feet and the crowd cheer as he gets Mak in a
headlock and takes him over to near the ropes. ViperJ puts Mak onto the ropes,
so that Mak's head is resting on the middle rope. ViperJ taunts and the fans
roar as he backs away and runs at the opposite ropes...he comes back and drops a
leg onto the back of Mak's head. Mak screams with pain as the rope burns into
his neck and he drops back onto the mat with the impact of the move. Jane
applauds her love, and he looks over and winks at her as he leans down and pulls
Mak up to his feet. The MWF Tag Team Champion is sent flying to the outside as
ViperJ tosses him over the top rope and crashing to the floor. The crowd cheer
as ViperJ follows him to the outside.]
JP: Things are starting to look pretty bleak for the
MWF Tag Team Champion...he can't get a move in no matter what he does.
Sully: I can't say it's looking too good...Sozzey might have to attempt to
save his partner.
JP: He attempted that on Dynamite just gone and he paid the price.
Sully: Tonight it's different.
[ViperJ isn't alert to the danger, as soon as he steps foot on the outside
the crowd shout warning as Sozzey comes running from round the other side of the
ring. The MWF Tag Team Champion unclips one of the belts and ViperJ is struck
across the back of the head by the belt. He drops to the floor, holding his head
in pain. Sozzey helps his brother up and suddenly the momentum changes, the
crowd aren't happy as Mak gets up and notices the opportunity. He leans down and
grabs ViperJ....he lifts him up and puts him on his shoulders, he then drops him
down slightly and locks in a bear hug.]
JP: Oh no! The bear hug!
Sully: Viper's in a bit of trouble now...he won't get out of this one easily.
[Mak stops the bear hug move and just slams ViperJ down onto the concrete
outside...the crowd roar with anger as Mak grabs a steel chair and raises it to
use on ViperJ. The crowd suddenly cheer as Jane grabs the chair from behind Mak
and takes it from him, the MWF Tag Team Champion looks stunned as Jane takes the
chair and runs off with it. Mak runs after her as ViperJ rolls over, holding his
back and attempts to stand. Jane is running up the entrance ramp with an
extremely angry Mak behind her...the fans roaring her on.]
JP: Just turn round and smash the chair over the
bastards head Jane.
Sully: It's not that easy...he's twice her size at least.
JP: ViperJ had better get up there soon enough and stop this happening.
Sully: Jane's in real trouble.
[Sozzey is following his brother up the entrance ramp, with Jane running off
with the chair...she disappears backstage and Mak follows her. ViperJ is on his
feet and looks up at the MaxiTron to see his future wife running through the
entrance curtain, with Mak close behind her. ViperJ sprints around the ring and
up the entrance ramp, a look of desperation in his eyes.]
JP: He'd better hurry!
[Jane pushes open a door and stumbles down a flight of stairs, there is the
sound of shouting as the door is flung open again and Mak comes charging
through. He jumps down most of the stairs, shouting for Jane to come back and
face him. Sozzey is in close pursuit of his brother. The camera cuts back to a
corridor behind as ViperJ sprints round the corner, and crashes straight into a
stage hand. He fumbles around and gets up, apologising to the worker and swings
open the door and sprints down the stairs that read 'car park'.]
JP: I don't like the look of this at all.
Sully: Well it's a hardcore match, they can go anywhere they like.
JP: I don't think that ViperJ had quite this far in his mind...especially
with Jane involved.
Sully: She shouldn't of got involved!
[The referee Brian Ford is running behind ViperJ as they reach the carp park,
ViperJ roars a challenge as he looks around and can't see anyone. Our viewpoint
cuts to where Jane is running along a stretch of parked cars, she looks behind
her and breathes a sight of relief as there is no sign of "Kronik" she turns
round and screams as Mak and Sozzey come from around the corner in front of her.
Sozzey now has a baseball bat in his hand and he slams it against the palm of
his hand in a threatening gesture. ViperJ hears the scream and you can hear him
shouting as he runs in that direction. Suddenly a voice speaks from behind
"Kronik".]
Voice: Boys...when will you ever learn?
["Kronik" spin round and the cheers of the crowd can be heard back in the
arena as standing there is former two time MWF World Heavyweight Champion,
Doomsday. He pushes a hand through his hair and flexes his muscles, Sozzey and
Mak growl in displeasure at having bumped into "The Deadly One".]
Doomsday: Jane...run!
[Doomsday runs forward and the sound of the swinging of a bat is heard, and
Doomsday takes a blow to the chest with the bat that knocks him back. He roars
and grabs the bat before Sozzey can move it...Mak attempts to grab Doomsday but
"The Deadly One" places one hand around the throat of Mak. ViperJ comes
sprinting around the corner and looks on in wonder as Doomsday gets Sozzey by
the throat...and lifts both men up. The crowd are going wild in the arena as
Doomsday executes a double choke slam on Sozzey and Mak...slamming them onto the
concrete. ViperJ grabs Jane and hugs her tightly as Doomsday stands over the
crumpled heap of "Kronik".]
Doomsday: Consider my debt repaid Viper, now win this
match.
[Doomsday picks up the baseball bat and walks off, swinging the bat through
the air as ViperJ quickly runs to where Mak is laying and covers. Brian Ford who
was just behind ViperJ runs over and counts ...1...2....3!]
JP: Well he's done it, ViperJ is the MWF Xtreme
Championship No.1 Contender after a thrilling encounter.
Sully: What a strange match but an amazing one.
JP: Doomsday coming to save ViperJ.
Sully: I guess after ViperJ attempted to save Doomsday last week then it was
payback.
JP: Jane had a lucky escape there.
Sully: She certainly did.
[Back in the ring the result is announced to the crowd as Peter Santos shouts
over their "Doomsday! Doomsday!" chant.]
Peter Santos: And your winner, through pin fall, and new Maximum Wrestling
Federation Xtreme Championship No1. Contender, ViperJ!
