versus

Joey Maddison

Singles Match

Referee: Brian Ford

Writer: Jason Williams

[The bell rings and Peter Santos takes his place in the center of the ring as the Fort Worth crowd stands to their feet hyped up for the second contest of the night. The cheers are swelling in the arena and JP and Sully continue to talk to give their prerogative on the match.]

JP: This match is to decide the future of these two talented athletes.

Sully: Fear lost his debut match last week to Apache in that triple threat match that also involved Crush Heart.

JP: Joey Maddison has been on the receiving end of bad luck recently suffering from two consecutive losses.

Sully: The "Demon Knight" looks to continue that stroke of loss for Joey Maddison.

JP: Will Fear walk out with the win in his second match?

Sully: Or will Joey Maddison show us he isn't someone to look past.

JP: Both have their respective valets accompanying them to the ring.

Sully: Fear with that beautiful Darla, he is a lucky man.

JP: Joey Maddison with the ever so talented and entertaining clown known as Mr. Blue Skies.

[The sound of JP is drained as "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed blast over the MaxiTrons and out walks Fear along side Darla as they hold hands down the rampway with Fear raising a fist to the crowd. Peter Santos begins to speak over the jeers from the Texas crowd.]

Peter Santos: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, first making his way to the ring, being accompanied by Darla and from Death Valley, weighing in at 250lbs the "Demon Knight" Fear!

[The music continues with the screaming of Disturbed echoing throughout the arena and the thousands upon thousands of fans showing their hatred for Fear. A loud "Fuck McW!" chant goes up from the crowd but Fear seems to ignore this and proceeds sauntering down the ramp and sliding into the ring. Darla walks around the opposite side of the ring and the male whistles are heard circling the arena. Darla smiles but Fear shows his displeasure and starts arguing with various fans at ringside that start shouting abuse. "Vermillion Part 2" by Slipknot hits and out walks Joey Maddison to a warm response from the crowd along side Mr. Blue Skies who receives a massive cheer.]

Peter Santos: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Mr. Blue Skies, from St. Pauls Bristol and weighing in at 260lbs Joey Maddison!

[Mr. Blue Skies walks besides Joey Maddison; both talking game tactics on their journey down the ramp. Joey Maddison signals for Mr. Blue Skies to stay on the outside of the ring and he enters the ring slowly, his eyes still locked on Fear. The crowd cheer loudly for Joey Maddison who looks on rather demeaning. The bell rings and Brian Ford informs both men that the match is underway.]

JP: And the match has officially started both men not taking their eyes off one another.

Sully: Might be some chemistry there.

JP: Sully!

Sully: What!? Gives me more of a chance to hook up with Darla at the end of the night.

JP: Did you hear that loud "Fuck McW" chant? McW may have closed but the people have not forgotten the problems they caused and Fear was part of it.

Sully: Who cares? McW is dead and now MwF has signed the hopeful future of Fear.

[Both men begin circling the ring, their arms out ready to start the action. Fear being the taller man but Joey Maddison being the slight heavier. Both men eventually lock hands and collide into each other in the test of strength. The crowd is behind Joey Maddison and Mr. Blue Skies begins slapping the mat cheering on his partner. Darla looks on in disapproval while Fear twists around and into the go behind arm lock and then jumping forward into a headlock but Joey Maddison pushes the "Demon Knight" away and into the ropes. On the comeback Fear attempts a shoulder block but both men have the same idea and neither budge. They both stand looking on in disbelief and then at referee Brian Ford, pondering what to do next.]

JP: Both men are very alike, they have a lot in common in appearance and wrestling style.

Sully: Joey Maddison is the smaller man but the heavier of the two by ten pounds.

JP: Both claim to be brawlers and hardcore powerhouses.

Sully: But this is no hardcore match.

JP: But you can't suggest they won't try breaking the rules? As soon as Brian Ford's back is turned one of them will try an illegal maneuver.

[Running against the ropes Fear attempts a second shoulder block but Joey Maddison slides under with Fear jumping over the prone body of Joey Maddison into the corresponding ropes and returning to be met with a kick to the gut from Joey Maddison. The crowd cheers as Joey Maddison nails a hook DDT, driving the face of Fear into the canvas. Joey Maddison springs to his feet and capitalizes with stiff kicks to the chest of Fear. Fear's chest brightens up with red marks which brings up some shocks from the crowd.]

Sully: What shots there from Joey Maddison!

JP: The man is determined to walk out the victor tonight.

Sully: Fear can't seem to retaliate.

[Joey Maddison lifts Fear back to a vertical base and charges against the ropes and at full steam nails a clothesline knocking the body of Fear down to the mat and then following up with a leg drop to the neck of the "Demon Knight". Joey Maddison crawls over for the cover, 1 2 Fear gets the shoulder up to accentuate the kickout. Darla looks on concerned while the crowd begins cheering for Mr. Blue Skies who begins jumping up and down clapping frantically.]

JP: Joey Maddison nearly decapitated the head of Fear then.

Sully: Did you know that Fear believes he can hear the voices of the demons and he has vowed to set them free?

JP: Random.

Sully: But it's an extraordinary fact!

[Looking at Brian Ford with a cold stare Joey Maddison then glances back at the now standing Fear. Joey Maddison charges at Fear once again in the corner but is on the end of an elbow smashing into the jaw from the "Demon Knight". Joey Maddison staggers backwards and Fear takes the opportunity to run forward and nail a huge big boot to the face knocking Joey Maddison on his shoulders. Fear is relentless, continuing the assault by grabbing Joey Maddison by the mask and wrapping his arms around the waist of Joey Maddison and nailing a gut wrench suplex and into the float over cover, 12 kickout by Joey Maddison. Fear however, presses the advantage with a headlock and mustering all the strength he can bide and hoisting Joey Maddison in the air for a few a seconds and crashing the neck of Joey Maddison into the mat with a stalling brainbuster.]

JP: A deadly stalling brainbuster utilized by Fear right there.

Sully: Pure perfection.

JP: Fear now gaining control of the match.

[Standing to his feet, Fear looks over at Darla and walks over to whisper something in her ear. Darla nods her head with a graceful smile and walks around the ring. Mr. Blue Skies looks on suspiciously and then shouts at Brian Ford. Brian Ford warns Darla not to intervene. Fear meanwhile executes a malicious spinebuster. Fear with the lateral press as Brian Ford moderates the count, 1 2 kickout yet again by Joey Maddison. Fear lifts Joey Maddison back to his own two feet and irish whips him into the corner turnbuckle with velocity. The spine of Joey Maddison cracks with the force and way his back connected with the turnbuckle. Joey Maddison grunts in pain and doubles over with a sharp kick from Fear. Fear sets Joey Maddison up on the top turnbuckle.]

JP: We all know Fear's favorite move is the top rope superplex from the top rope.

Sully: Don't forget the Primal Urges his top rope reverse twist of fate.

JP: A secondary move from his primary finisher known as the Gateway to Paradise.

[Climbing to the top rope Fear locks his arm around the neck of Joey Maddison with Mr. Blue Skies shouting words of encouragement to his friend. Fear tries using his dominant and sheer power to lift up Maddison for a devious top rope superplex. However, Joey Maddison recovers with shots to the cranium of Fear. Fear rally's back but still manages to hold on. With a vicious shot from Joey Maddison, Fear falls from the top rope and crashes onto the canvas with a sickening thud. Joey Maddison balances himself on the top rope and with hang time glides off the top rope with an elbow drop into the sternum of Fear. Fear's expression changes to a look of despair as his arms are spread out on the canvas. The Fort Worth crowd stands to their feet clapping on Joey Maddison who is left sprawled on the canvas. Referee Brian Ford begins his illustrious ten count: 1 2 3 Fear begins to pull himself back up using the ropes for leverage: 4 5 6 Joey Maddison now someway begins moving on the mat: 7 8 Fear is back up and standing while Joey Maddison soon follows. Fear walks towards Joey Maddison but Maddison fires back with a huge forearm to the face of Fear. Fear is now against the ropes and soon walks into a russian leg sweep from Joey Maddison.]

Sully: Maddison now has a second wind.

JP: Fear has been in control for the duration of this match but Maddison is coming back with a vengeance.

Sully: Watch out Fear!

[Fear turns around and is met with a open fist from Joey Maddison.]

JP: Too late.

[Doubled over from a gut shot from Joey Maddison Fear is lifted up with the blood rushing to his head. Joey Maddison screams out and falls back down nailing the piledriver, drilling the head of Fear deep into the canvas. The crowd is in awe from the devastating move and Joey Maddison signals to the crowd that it is the end. The crowd cheers ecstatically.]

JP: Joey Maddison hit the variation of the Hole in Your Heart and now is calling for the end.

Sully: Seems like he is setting up for the Destiny in Demise JP.

JP: One of the most brutal finishers in the MwF business today.

Sully: Fear seems to be unconscious.

JP: Would you be after being drilled into the canvas headfirst with the Hole in Your Heart.

Sully: Of course not I'm a real man!

JP: Yeah I guess you're a tough man. Say Gutter Rat is behind you.

Sully: Where? Where!?

JP: I have proven my point.

[Pleading for Fear to get back to his feet Darla approaches the ring closer, edging the ring apron and slightly climbing on it. Unknown to this attempted interruption Joey Maddison locks the arms of Fear and jumps in the air and driving the body and face of Fear into the match with the Destiny in Demise. Fear seems to be out cold as Joey Maddison rolls him over and into the cover, 1 Darla reaches out and places the foot of Fear on the bottom rope 2 Brian Ford realizes Fear's feet are in the rope and Joey Maddison jumps up in joy believing he has won the match.]

Sully: He believes he has defeated Fear the idiot!

JP: Darla put the foot of Fear in the ropes, that's obvious cheating and Brian Ford is oblivious to it.

Sully: Fear would have kicked out anyway I'm sure of it.

JP: I doubt that very much Sully.

[Mr. Blue Skies begins arguing with the referee jumping on the ring apron and pointing at Darla. Brian Ford calms Joey Maddison down telling him he hasn't won and showing Fear's foot on the bottom rope to break the count. Joey Maddison looks on in frustration with his hands tightly around his head. Darla sneaks over to Mr. Blue Skies and pulls him off the ring apron. Mr. Blue Skies face meets the edge of the canvas as he holds onto his nose. Mr. Blue Skies is enraged and looks up at Darla. Darla looks on in worry and Mr. Blue Skies bolts up and begins chasing Fear's personal manager around the ring. Darla enters the ring and Brian Ford looks on at the total chaos.]

Sully: Darla it's dangerous don't enter the ring!

JP: She entered at her own free will Sully, it's her own fault.

Sully: Fear is getting back to his feet.

JP: Mr. Blue Skies has got a hold of Darla Sully!

[The crowd cheers as the screaming is heard as Darla is yanked by the hair by Mr. Blue Skies who shouts at Darla for causing trouble. Brian Ford runs over to break up Mr. Blue Skies and Darla. Brian Ford struggles to split the two apart but Joey Maddison helps by grabbing Darla around the waist with her legs kicking in the air. Brian Ford uses his authority to force Mr. Blue Skies out of the ring. Darla is yelling and kicking with Fear now standing behind Joey Maddison. Joey Maddison sets Darla up and sets her up for his signature move the Destiny in Demise to a huge ovation. Fear barely saves Darla with a low blow to the southern regions of Joey Maddison. Maddison holds on gasping for air while Darla vacates the ring. Fear in one quick motion nails the doomful Gateway to Paradise. Fear calls for the referee who has been busy dealing with Mr. Blue Skies. Fear hooks the leg in the cover as Brian Ford initiates the count, 1 2 3. Fear holds his head and Darla enters the ring celebrating with the "Demon Knight" on his first victory in the Maximum Wrestling Federation.]

Peter Santos: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner through pinfall the "Demon Knight" Fear!

[Rolling out the ring as the triumphant winner Fear holds onto Darla and embraces in a hug with her. The crowd gives a shower of jeers for the "Demon Knight" who backs up the rampway with his arms raised in the air. Mr. Blue Skies for the second time in the last three weeks enters the ring to check on Joey Maddison who looks at Fear in disappointment.]

JP: I don't believe this first Joey Maddison had the match won but Darla illegally moved Fear's foot on the rope to break the count.

Sully: Genius she is just a genius.

JP: She's a jezebel that's what she is Sully.

Sully: Jezebel's are vicious women.

JP: Exactly Sully, thank you for proving my point yet again.

Sully: Still the fact remains is Fear has defeated Joey Maddison on this night.

JP: On this three week trial Joey Maddison has now lost three matches in a row, that's unfortunate but his performance has been excellent, he has really tried his best even though it always ends up in misfortune.

Sully: Its time to head to a commercial break JP.

JP: Indeed it is, don't go anywhere folks we'll be right back!
