Jethro "Thunder" Collins

versus

Danglin Johnson

Losers Leaves MWF Match

Referee: Grant August

Writer: Tim Beery

JP: Well, Sully, we have already heard from Kid Insanity tonight, and I just have to say, what the hell is going on with that boy?

Sully: Well, I think of two explanantions. Either he has a master plan, or he is criminally insane.

JP: My money's on the second one.

Sully: It would be.

JP: What is that supposed to mean?

Sully: Keep it professional, JP. Isn't that what you always tell me?

JP: Sully!

Peter Santos: Ladies and gentleman. The following contest is...

[Peter Santos is interrupted by Prez Ed Walker's music, as Prez Ed appears at the top of the ramp. Without preamble, he marches down the ramp, and grabs the mic from Peter Santos.]

Prez Ed: No, no, no. Not this match. Simply put, this is a "Loser Leaves the MWF" match. There will be no entrance for either of you. No music, no pyrotechnics, no fireworks, nothing. Jethero Collins, Danglin Johnson, get your asses down here. NOW!

[Danglin Johnson is the first to appear. He rushed down the entrance ramp, and slides in the ring as Prez Ed slides out, and goes to sit at ringside, to watch the match. Jethro Collins appears at the top of the ramp, and rushes down to meet his challenge head on in the ring. The two collide, as Jethro Collins comes out on top wtih a head lock. Dangling Johnson backs him up into the ropes, and sends him for a ride. Jethro Collins ducks a clothesline, then attacks with a flying cross chop, sending Danglin Johnson to the mat.]

JP: These two men are fighting for their very career tonight, Sully.

Sully: Fighting for your job will usually bring out the best in wrestlers.

JP: But in some cases, the pressure may just be too much. Look!

[Danglin Johnson is back on his feet, and they lock up. Danglin Johnson comes out on top, and sets Jethro Collins up for a suplex. But Jethro counters, placing his leg on the inside of Danglin Johnson's legs. Jethro counters with a suplex of his own, bringing Danglin Johnson down hard on the mat. Jethro Collins goes for the cover. 1...2..kickout by Danglin Johnson.]

Sully: It looks like he has a little fight left in him.

JP: If he wants to keep his job, he better have a lot more fight in him.

Sully: I hear that!

[Both men are on their feet, and lock up. Danglin Johnson sends Jethro Collins for a ride, but Jethro Collins wraps his arms around the ropes, and stops himself. Danglin Johnson charges, looking for a clothesline, but Jethro Collins drops to the mat, pulling down the top rope, and sends Danglin Johnson for a flight outside the ring. Danglin Johnson is slow to his feet, but once he is up, he is met with a baseball slide by Jethro Collins, giving him a boot to the face, sending him back to the ground.]

JP: Nice move by Jethro Collins there. Great ring awareness.

Sully: Yea, and nice fall by Danglin Johnson. He gets a nine out of ten!

[Danglin Johnson is pulled to his feet by his hair, but he elbows Jethro Collins in the midsection, breaking his hold. Danglin Johnson sends Jethro Collins for a ride, and he crashes into the ringsteps, seperating them. Jethro Collins gets to his feet, and picks up the ring step. Danglin Johnson charges, and is met by a metal ringstep to the face by Jethro Collins. Seeing this, Grant August calls for the bell.]

JP: Jethro Collins should have known a move like that would get him disqualified.

Sully: But fighting for your job, JP, you would do just about anything to win.

Peter Santos: The winner of this match...

[Peter Santos is cut off as Prez Ed walks over, and yanks the mic out of his hands.]

Prez Ed: No! This match will not end this way! This is now a No-Disqualification match! Mr. August, keep the match going.

[Upon hearing this, Jethro Collins brings the metal stair crashing down on the back of Danglin Johnson. Danglin Johnson howls in pain as he brings an arm back to hold his back. Jethro Collins is there, and he pulls Danglin Johnson up to his feet, and rolls him in the ring. Jethro Collins hops up on the ring apron, and steps over the top rope, preying on Danglin Johnson. Danglin Johnson is crawling across the ring, tryin to get away, as Jethro Collins stalks him.]

JP: Prez Ed obviously wants this match to go on.

Sully: Well, it would have been a cheap win for Danglin Johnson. And you know how our Prez Ed hates those.

JP: He does indeed.

[Jethro Collins is upon Danglin Johnson, and picks him up. He kicks Danglin Johnson in the chest, and Danglin Johnson doubles over in pain. Jethro Collins hooks the arms of Danglin Johnson, and picks him up, so that his back is to Jethro Collins, and his feet are straight up in the air. Spinning around 180 degrees, he plants Danglin Johnson to the mat with a powerful facebuster.]

JP: Wow, the power in Jethro Collins. Did you see that?

Sully: I sure did, JP. "The Purge," as he calls it, is devestating.

JP: But not as devestating as this!

[Jethro Collins shoes the ref away, as Grant August was trying to see if Danglin Johnson was okay. Jethro Collins picks up Danglin Johnson, and hits a huge crucifix powerbomb, leveling Danglin Johnson to the mat. Jethro Collins makes the cover, as Grant August slides down to make the count. 1....2.....3! Grant August calls for the bell.]

Peter Santos: And your winner, Jethro Collins!

JP: Wow, Sully, that was a hard fought match.

Sully: If you say so. I felt there wasn't much fight in Danglin Johnson after the match was stopped.

JP: You may be right. Uh oh, here comes Prez Ed.

[Prez Ed has left his ringside seat, and makes his way into the ring. He pulls out a mic.]

Prez Ed: Danglin Johnson, YOU'RE FIRED!

[Throwing the mic on Danglin Johnson, Prez Ed makes his way out of the ring, and up the entrance ramp.]

JP: Now we're going to take a look back to "A Step Too Far" when James Wright revealed himself to be the man behind the attack which broke Fear's ankle.

Sully: What a great night it was, I was amazed at the commitment from all the wrestlers...guys like Ace Spade really did take it A Step Too Far!

[The MaxiVision screen begins to roll the video from "A Step Too Far". We see Fear makes his way to the ring to accuse Ed Walker of committing the attack on him but Ed appears and quickly shoots that idea down before leaving again. Out of the crowd a muscular figure runs into the ring and baseball slides Fear's broken ankle causing his entire body to crash the mat, landing on the side of his head and knocking him unconscious. We hear snippets of James Wright's speech and then we see The CopyWRIGHT performed on Fear from multiple angles. On the sixth showing of The CopyWRIGHT we hear James Wright in the background saying "I'm always right, I'm James Wright!".]

JP: Shocking images there from "A Step Too Far".

Sully: Indeed JP, I think those actions from James Wright would have been better suited to Pay-Per-View called "A Whole Leap Too Far".

JP: We don't have any official news yet one whether Fear has sustained a broken neck or not but we here at the MWF would like to send him our best wishes.

["I Am Canadian" by the James Wright Band hits the PA system. The pro-Canadian lyrics instantly infuriate the Indianan crowd. Holding a large Canadian flag in his right hand and a microphone in his left hand James Wight slowly makes his way to the ring. James waves the flag right in the faces of the fans who try to grab it off him but he overpowers all of them. "The Perfect One" sees someone in the front row with a "We Love Fear!" sign, the veins in his temples begin to flare up and he reaches over for the sign and snatches it from the fan. He steps into the ring via the steel steps and places the flag on the bottom left turnbuckle. Then he takes the sign from under his arm and rips it right in the middle of the ring and tears it into small pieces before throwing it out of the ring like confetti. James places the microphone to his lips and begins to speak.]

James Wright: Welcome fans to MWF DynaWright! Finally this show has a worthwhile spearhead in the man that has been called "The Perfect One" worldwide. You can forget that two-bit champion Ace Spade, wipe your memory of that pretty boy punk Troy Knight and watch a wrestling show where the feature attraction has the looks, the talent, the charisma and the right country of origin to be a true legend. I am from a land where we value privacy, we don't have a President who has to masquerade spying on his own civilians by calling the process the PATRIOT Act. Canada is a place where you can walk safely in the streets, where we drink real beer and somewhere you can have a home rather than a house. Oh and God forbid the fact that the rest of the world actually likes Canada as apposed to this oppressive regime you have in the USA.

[The crowd take that as a cue to start some U-S-A chants. "The Perfect One" looks around the crowd and does the "cutthroat" gesture to get them to shut up. Several seconds pass with James Wright storming around the ring until the crowd finally do settle.]

James Wright: That's your first mistake right there, you do no make James Wright angry. That's exactly what Fear did and now he's paying for his errors. So unless you want to end up like a crippled idiot then sit down and shut up! As much fun as this has all been I've not come out here to talk about how great I am, the reasons why Canada is better than America or how ignorant you American crowd arewe simply haven't got time for that. Instead I'm issuing an open challenge to whichever foolhardy guy backstage is brave enough to face me next week on DynaWright. You don't have to answer now because I'll be watching throughout the week. Whoever does show enough guts to accept this challenge has to realise he is facing the best wrestler to ever step foot in the ring. MWF has a lot of good wrestler but non of them are perfect. I am perfect and I'm always right, I'm James Wright!

[With the crowd throwing paper cups at him as well as a volley of insults James unhooks his Canadian flag from the turnbuckle and slides under the bottom rope. He makes his way up the ramp while waving his flag. He stops at the top of the ramp and flexes his bicep before kissing the peak. The crowd are in an uproar over the MWF newcomer as he finally leaves the scene.]

Sully: Wow. James Wright certainly has a lot on his mind, I have a feeling we're going to be hearing a lot from "The Perfect One" over the next few weeks.

JP: Wright has issued an open challenge to any member of the MWF roster who are willing to face him in the ring. It looks like we'll be seeing James Wright's in-ring debut next week here on Dynamite!

Sully: You mean DynaWright, JP.

JP: This young Canadian seems a little to full of himself for mine, or the crowds, liking. I don't think he's going to make any friends here in the MWF. He's going to have to watch his back Sully, Fear will be wanting to taste some revenge.

Sully: That's if he's ever cleared to wrestle again JP!
