Triple Threat Match

Referee: Chad Pattison

Writer: Ed Walker

JP: I'm looking forward to this match almost more than the main event, these three wrestlers are really the diamonds in the MWF's midcard.

Sully: I was talking to Scotty Heart earlier and he said to look out for a performance from Crush Heart that "defies belief".

JP: Those were his exact words?

Sully: Indeed they were, Crush Heart is one pissed off bastards and you saw what he did to Josh Johnson.

JP: There will be no more JJ's Jives for the considerable future after Crush Heart's viscous and uneccessary attack on the MWF's rumour specialist.

Sully: A slipped disc in the back of his neck, I hope Josh is doing okay.

JP: Apache and Fear might exact a bit of revenge tonight, all three men have been out and about talking smack about this match and I really can't pick a winner.

Sully: All three are good enough, Apache perhaps is the slight favourite after his clean start to his MWF career....three victories so far, and Fear is the rookie in the match up.

JP: I wouldn't call him a rookie, enjoyed some success in the MCW and he's shown this past week that his promotional work is very handy.

Sully: He's a hard worker, but Crush Heart is the explosive and unpredictable element in this match.

JP: Defeating Joey Maddison last week on Dynamite will have lifted Crush Heart who had lost two on the bounce, but he's back on form and if he performs like he did last week then Apache and Fear could struggle.

[The MWF crowd are on their feet in Dallas, Texas....the buzz around the arena is tremendous for a midcard match as Peter Santos steps inside the ring and raises the microphone to his lips.]

Peter Santos: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is a triple threat match and is scheduled for one fall....introducing first, from Parts Unknown, weighing in at 299 lbs., "The Dark Conscience" Apache!

[A cheer erupts from the crowd as "Tear It Up" by Andrew WK hits the PA sytem and smoke begins to billow from the sides of the entrance way. Through the smoke the figure of Apache slowly walks out into view....parting the smoke the unbeaten wrestler walks down the entrance ramp with a determined look on his face.]

JP: He doesn't look in the best of moods tonight....perhaps that run-in with Lee "Razor" Watson that led to Watson's departure from the MWF is playing on his mind.

Sully: It could well be, but Apache is a professional wrestler and he has to do a professional job tonight and if he does just that he'll walk away with a victory.

JP: A fourth victory at stake for Apache and with four wins in a row I think that claim to the MWF Television Championship could be stepped up.

Sully: I think Crush Heart would like a look at that belt as well.

[Apache reaches the ring, he steps up onto the ring apron and climbs inbetween the ropes. He walks towards referee Chad Pattison and shakes hands with him, before turning and acknowleding the crowd with a pose.]

Peter Santos: And the first opponent, now residing in Death Valley, California, weighing in at 250 lbs., accompanied by Darla, "The Demon Knight" Fear!

["Down With The Sickness" by Disturbed blasts from the PA system and the crowd are on their feet jeering as Fear walks out in a black trenchcoat with the words "Demon Knight" embossed along the back. Darla is on his arm as he walks slowly out onto the entrance way, he snarls at the crowd and a big "FUCK MCW!" chant is started up by certain members of the crowd.]

JP: These fans know their wrestling history, and they are correct...Fear was in the MCW before it sadly closed down.

Sully: It's quite sad that, I mean I wasn't the biggest fan of the place but it is always sad to see another wrestling company close down.

JP: It sure is....

Sully: ....Fear's soaking up the jeers of the crowd, he's taking it well.

[Darla climbs the ring steps and is inside the ring as Fear climbs straight into the ring and Apache looks around and stares intently at his opponent. The crowd cheer as Apache shouts something at Fear and "The Demon Knight" takes a step closer to Apache. Referee Chad Pattison is quickly inbetween the two men, Darla kisses Fear on the cheek and makes her way from the ring to stand on the outside. Both Apache and Fear turn expectantly towards the entrance way as Peter Santos raises his mic once more.]

Peter Santos: And the second opponent and third man in this triple threat match, weighing in at 290 lbs., from Nottingham, England, accompanied by Reload, "21st Century Killing Machine" Crush Heart!

[A defeaning jeer goes up from the crowd as "Drop The Bombshell" by Powerman 5000 hits the PA systema and the whole entrance way goes black. This plunges the arena into almost darkness, save for a few lights in the higher tiers, and the crowd roar with defiance as fireworks shoot down from the top of the arena and explode on the entrance way with a firey spectacle. Crush Heart raises his arms and comes through the sparks, with Reload walking behind him. The fans are giving some serious heat and Crush Heart shouts insults back at the crowd, Reload watching the two men in the ring.]

JP: This is the beast that destroyed our fellow worker Josh Johnson, I hope he gets what he deserves tonight.

Sully: I think Apache is planning to put a world of hurt on Crush Heart and I don't think any of the MWF backstage workers want to be anywhere near him.

JP: You get on the wrong side of Crush Heart and it is like getting on the wrong side of a bulldozer, but I mean what he did to poor Josh was terrible.

Sully: We're going to take you back to last week, and this is what happened. Please be advised that if you find particularly savage physical violence stressful please look away now!

{{{ [Crush spits in Josh's face as a chorus of boos ecos throughout the arena. Crush then pushes Josh against the wall opposite him and stands holding him against it, showing his physical dominance over the younger, smaller and less phsycial man.]

Crush: Listen to me Johnson. Ya shudda stayed on ya tacky little column 'cause this is big boy shit! If ya think ya gonna get any interview from me ya got another thing comin'. I told everyone last week that its the end of Mr.Nice Guy. I told ya last week that the pain is gonna come, One More Time. So ya best be ready!

[Crush turns around, releasing Josh from his monster sized grasp. JJ silthers down the wall and looks relieved to have gotten away from the huge physical frame of Crush Heart. With one huge swing, Crush turns right back around and slams his huge fist right in the face of Josh, knocking the poor young man down and out! The boo's begin again in the arena as Crush looks happy with his dirty work. Crush then grabs the collar of Crush, throwing him over his shoulder and begins to walk off with the lifeless body on his shoulder. Blood drips down the back of Crush from the nose of Josh Johnson.]

JP: What the hell was that all about?!

Sully: He is a monster JP. He can do whatever he likes!

JP: He cant do that! He cant lay his hands on MWF staff. That is just wrong Sully and you know it. Crush has stepped over the line here tonight.

Sully: I dont think he has finished just yet. Look whos coming to the ring!

[The Maxi-tron has followed Crush all the way to the entrance ramp. Crush still carries Johnson on his shoulder as he begins to walk down the ramp to a chorus of boos. Crush doesnt care and just continues his monsterious steps towards the squared circle. As he gets to the ring, Crush rolls the still lifeless body of JJ into the ring and then begins to climb over the top rope himself.]

JP: What's he doing now?!

Sully: How should I know? I'm not a mind reader. Should be interesting though.

JP: "Interesting"?

Sully: Glad you agree.

JP: I didnt mean....

Sully: Shut up! Its about to get good!

[Crush begins to stomp away on Josh as the crowd explode into boos. Referees and MWF officials begin to storm to the ring in an effort to rid Crush from the arena. Crush stands tall and even takes wild swings at some of the officials. Crush still has the ring to himself and also Josh Johnson all to himself. A pull of a collar and a whip up onto the shoulders later, Josh is looking towards the canvas as Crush holds him high across his shoulders. In one flowing movement Johnson is swung around the never ending shoulders of Crush and slammed onto the canvas hard. Crush attempts to land The Bombshell to Johnson. However, the move doesnt connect quite as it was planned and Josh's head hits the canvas with a snap! The arena goes numb, Crush stands up to his feet and looks down to his victim, who isnt moving. Crush just stares, his eyes fixed, his body still, the sound stopped.]

Sully: Oh no! Oh no! That wasnt meant to be like that!

JP: No! Did you see the impact?! He landed across his head and did you hear that snap?! What the hell was that?!

Sully: I have no idea, no idea at all. That was just sick.

JP: Josh hasnt moved. His body is stiff and lifeless Sully! This could be bad. That bastard Crush, I cant believe him!

[The arena is still still, silent and shocked. The MWF officials and referees pile into the ring along with EMTs and paramedics. Crush stands in the ring, his face not changed, his emotions still the same, his eyes fixed. As the scene begins to fade off for a commercial a sick, sadistic, freakish and monsterious smirk appears on the face of Crush. His statement made, his impact created, a lifeless and helpless body being treated to...]}}}

JP: I just cannot believe that someone would be so heartless to do that.

Sully: I can't believe someone hasn't done it to Ian Gonzales yet!

[Crush Heart is inside the ring and Chad Pattison looks over to the timekeppers table and he waves his arms in the air and the bell sounds. The crowd come alive as the three men circle around the ring, all watching carefully for an opening. Fear takes a false step forward and is rewarded as Crush Heart blunders forward and trips off balance, both Fear and Apache run at Crush Heart who ducks, causing Fear and Apache to collide! Reload applauds as Crush Heart turns round to see Apache and Fear staggering away from each other....Heart roars and gets behind Apache, he locks his arms around the waist of Apache and launches him with a massive atomic drop. Apache holds the base of his spine in agony as he falls forwards onto the mat.]

JP: Crush Heart gaining the early momentum here, but it's not going to be easy to stay on top in a match as volatile as this.

Sully: Each of these men is going to have to stay alert if they want to stay alive, one false move and they could find themselves on their back.

JP: This match could be quite important, all three of these men I feel could be challengers for the MWF Television Championship.

Sully: Could well be, especially Apache, four wins in a row would merit some interest from the front office.

[Crush Heart is smiling about the atomic drop, he turns around and Fear shoots a right hand at him...Crush Heart takes the blow to the jaw and throws a right hand back at Fear, Fear's head and hair fly back as Heart's stronger punch has "The Demon Knight" on the back foot. Crush Heart grabs Fear and irish whips him into the ropes, Fear comes running back and executes a cross body that catches Crush Heart off guard. Crush Heart is covered by the move and Chad Pattison counts .....1.....2! Crush Heart throws Fear off him and gets to his feet straight away. Apache still holding the base of his spine gets to his feet and all three men square off once more.]

JP: The early exchanges have left Apache completely out in the cold, you don't expect to see that from a wrestler who wants to make a big impact on the MWF.

Sully: He'd make a big impact if he teamed up with Thunder Bull, the MWF has no strong tag teams at the moment.....Iniquity's a sitting duck with those belts.

JP: You'd be surprised, I have heard a rumour that General Manager Wayne is going to make a ruling about the MWF Tag Team Championships right here on Dynamite.

Sully: That should be after Iniquity's match against Seth Caliko, the absent former MWF Xtreme Champion against a former Xtreme Champion.

[Apache goes on the offensive, he invites Crush Heart onto him and the crowd explode as a fist to the face followed by a knee to the gut have Crush Heart bent over and Fear comes running across and Apache ducks a clothesline. Fear comes back off the ropes and looks for the cross body onto Apache, as he did with Crush Heart. Apache is aware of the danger and "The Dark Conscience" catches Fear in mid-flight and the ring shudders as he performs a power slam. Apache wastes no time as he's up on his feet and the "21st Century Killing Machine" is rendered useless by a massive boot to the face. Apache stands alone in the ring as Crush Heart is flat on his back and Fear has rolled out of the ring after the power slam. Darla tends to Fear on the outside as Reload shouts encouragement to Crush Heart who is rubbing his jaw.]

JP: The power of Apache, he turned this match in his favour with just two moves...he's a man that knows his way around the ring.

Sully: Tremendous talent and Crush Heart, Fear, they had no answer for it.

JP: Fear's clever though, he's got out of the danger area but Crush Heart is a sitting duck for Apache once more.

Sully: I think this match will be between Apache and Fear, they look the most composed...Crush Heart is so unpredictable.

JP: There is no rhythm with Crush Heart, when he attacks another wrestler you don't feel, excuse the pun, that his heart is in it.

Sully: It's a crisis, he's one of the best athletes but yet he just can't put that athleticism into gear.....the best match he's had is against an MWF interviewer in a corridor!

[The crowd roar on Apache as he gets Crush Heart back up to a standing position....the cameras are brought out as like a whirlwind Apache executes The Project on Crush Heart! He freezes for a second before spiking the head of Crush Heart into the canvas and going for the cover, the crowd count as Chad Pattison brings the hand down onto the canvas .....1.......2...! Crush Heart is saved as Fear slides into the ring and breaks up the count with a stomp to the back of Apache. "The Dark Conscience" rolls off the prone Crush Heart and gets to his feet...he's met by Fear who irish whips him into the turnbuckle. Apache crashes into the turnbuckle and stays there, Fear runs across and a flying knee to the chest has Apache gasping for breath.]

JP: I thought Apache had it there, but only a two count as Fear was able to interfere.

Sully: What you are watching is a match that could well show you the future of the MWF, Crush Heart could easily capture the MWF World Heavyweight Championship if he can just string more than one win together.

JP: Apache is looking for a fourth win, and Fear has a lot of potential that could be realised tonight.

Sully: Fear's turning this match back to him......he's heading up top!

[The turnbuckle is buckling under the weight as Fear lifts Apache up onto the top rope, "The Dark Conscience" is perched on the top rope as Fear climbs up there with him. The crowd watch on anxiously as Fear locks his arm around the neck of Apache and the crowd jeer as Fear hoists him up and over with a massive superplex! The ring shudders as they hit the mat and Fear rolls away from Apache, leaping to his feet in celebration. Darla blows Fear a kiss as he moves around to the legs of Apache, eyeing up a submission move.]

JP: Crush Heart is getting to his feet!

Sully: Fear hasn't noticed him at all...

["21st Century Killing Machine" Crush Heart is on his feet and he runs across the ring, Fear senses that something isn't quite right and turns round to be speared by the massive frame of Crush Heart! Crush Heart goes for the pin......1.......2! Apache rolls over and kicks Crush Heart off Fear, all three men are down for a moment before Apache rises to his feet. Reload shouts a warning as Crush Heart is pulled to a standing position and the crowd explode as Apache pulls Heart between his legs, the cameras flash as the Apache Driver has Crush Heart driven into the mat. Chad Pattison counts as Apache hooks the leg .....1......2......3! There is nothing a down and out Fear can do as Apache rolls off Crush Heart and climbs to his feet to salute the crowd.]

JP: Yet another victory for this rising star, four straight wins and I'm beginning to wonder who can stop this "Project".

Sully: Crush Heart's indifferent form continues, Fear was out of luck there....Heart took him out and then Apache took out Crush Heart to win the match, that is the danger of triple threat matches.

Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall, Apache!
