"The Perfect One" James Wright
versus
"The Innovator of Impossible" Seth Caliko (representing
MCW)
MCPW Match
Referee: Charles Galliant
Writer: Joe Forrest
JP: We have arrived at our third match
already, Sully, and it's time for the MWF to pit itself against the
MCW again, in what should be a great MCPW match.
Sully: Our very own James Wright will take
on the huge structure that is Seth Caliko. Go, James, go!
JP: Well I'm as loyal to the MWF as anybody,
but somehow James Wright doesn't seem to be the man to do it. He's
more interested in his country, Canada.
Sully: He can do what he wants, he's a
legend already.
JP: Not in the MWF he isn't.
Sully: I think so, JP. Soon enough he'll be
up there battling our great MWF Champion, Ace Spade!
JP: Yeah, yeah. On with the show.
[The personalised music "I Am Perfect" by the James Wright band
kicks in and the silhouette of "The Perfect One" is clearly casted
across the entrance. Red fireworks shoot upwards and cause a cloud of
smoke to blur our vision, when suddenly Wright appears, striding down
the entrance with more fireworks leading him to the ring. Boos can be
heard but the music is so loud that it is all drowned out.]
Peter Santos: From the country of Canada, weighing in at 262
pounds "The Perfect One" James Wright!
JP: James Wright has two wins under his belt
now. No losses. He certainly is a superb wrestler, but an arrogant
one all the same.
Sully: Arrogance or confidence?
JP: Arrogance.
Sully: Confidence.
[James hops fluently onto the apron and slips into the ring where
a Canadian flag is projected across the canvas. Glowing red and
white, "The Perfect One" circles the ring like he owns it.]
Sully: I mean, it's like he's lived in that
ring all his life.
[James Wright's music slowly fades and suddenly the crowd come to
life, a mixed reaction but predominatly cheers as "Sleep Now In The
Fire" by Rage Against The Machine hits the PA system and the MWF's
former Xtreme Champion walks out.]
Peter Santos: From MCW, weighing in at 230 lbs., from Long
Island, New York, accompanied by Michiru Kaiou, "The Flash and Flare
of Pro Wrestling" Seth Caliko!
[Caliko reaches the ring, steps up onto the apron and steps over
the rope with ease. He makes his way over to a turnbuckle, but is
shoved in the shoulder by James Wright. Caliko stops in his tracks
and Wright shoves him in the side again. The bell sounds and "The
Innovater of Impossible" swings with his left hand, Wright ducks it
and delivers a blow to the abdomen that has little effect. He dodges
a right hand this time and delivers a perfect kick to the abdomen
that weakens "The Innovater of Impossible", who leans over slightly.
James Wright backs up against the ropes and comes back with a knee to
the head, but it is blocked by "The Innovater of Impossible" who
stands tall again. To two wrestlers jump into a grapple. Wright's
amazing upper body strength does him some good, as he pushes Seth
Caliko up against the ropes. The ropes act as a catapult and send the
two men back into the centre of the ring with their grapple Caliko
lowers his centre of gravity, lifts James Wright slightly and brings
the opponents groin down on his knee. The atomic drop. James jumps
backwards holding his groin momentarily but in a rage lunges forward
with a super kick. The one shot! ""The Innovater of Impossible""
Caliko takes it on the chin but does not fall over. He stumbles back
and leans against the ropes.]
Sully: James did well to land such a high
superkick there, JP. And with a damaged groin too!
JP: Damaged groin? Don't let him hear you
say that.
[Wright moves in and lays into Seth Caliko with repeated fists to
the midsection. Intent in knocking "The Innovater of Impossible"
down, James Wright backs up and leaps forward with another super
kick. This time, Caliko drops to the floor, partly intentional,
partly exhausted. Wright's foot goes over the rope and becomes hooked
up. On the floor "The Innovater of Impossible", takes James Wright's
other foot and lifts it from the ground. "The Perfect One" is tipped
over the ropes and out of the ring. He quickly gets to his feet and
drags Caliko to the outside, who rolls across the protective mats to
the guard barrier. With the crowd in his face. James Wright stomps
the living hell out of Seth Caliko. Sliding from the ring, the
referee takes JW by the arm and directs him to the ring. Landing one
more stomp, James turns and leaps onto the apron, as if to await
Caliko to enter too. As the referee checks on "The Innovater of
Impossible", he begins to stand, only to look up and see James Wright
flying towards him with a forearm. The Canadian Connection. Caliko
goes over the barrier and into the crowd. The referee, who barely
missed the forearm himself, pushes Wright back into the ring and
joins him.]
Sully: Wright's on the offence. The moves
that he takes only seem to make him stronger.
JP: You're right. When James Wright went
over the rope it only seemed to fuel his aggression - not affect his
physical state.
[Seth Caliko is soon up. He climbs over the crowd barrier with the
crowd clinging onto his attire. James Wright lures him back in with a
nod, a smile and a hand gesture. Caliko, aggravated, slides back in
and jumps to his feet, expecting a quick attack from Wright. However,
Wright continues to smile and nod his head. The two men circle the
ring and leap into another grapple. "The Innovater of Impossible"
squeezes the life out of Wright but the Canadian wrestler brings one
hand round the back of Caliko's neck and coils a leg round the
opponents.]
JP: Going for the Viscous Streak. A reverse
Russian leg sweep
[James jerks his back into an arch, attempting to pull down "The
Innovater of Impossible" onto his face, but the three-hundred pound
grappler won't be pulled. He squeezes a drop more life out of Wright
and takes him by the throat. With a second passed, Wright is nine
foot in the air with "The Innovater of Impossible"'s hand still
clutched around his throat. Another two seconds pass and Wright comes
hurtling down, hitting the canvas with amazing impact. The chokeslam
makes the ring shudder. The crowd cheer and applaud as "The Innovater
of Impossible" stands tall, looking through the crowd. He then drops
to the crowd and hooks a leg. The referee counts. 1... 2... Kick out!
Wright rolls over onto his front to prevent another easy pin.]
JP: The tables have turned with one
devastating move
Sully: Which means they can turn again with
another.
JP: Indeed.
["The Innovater of Impossible" stands and lift Wright with him.
Standing with his front to Wright's back, Caliko hit's a
belly-to-back suplex. Wright lands on his chest. The wind knocked
right out of his lungs. "The Innovater of Impossible" goes to turn
him over rolling him over to the centre of the ring, when Wright
connects with a leg sweep! The huge Seth Caliko goes down on his back
with a thud and Wright quickly stands and lifts the legs of his
opponent.]
Sully: Where does "The Perfect One" get it
from? Canada??
JP: Must be something in the water up
there.
[James locks on the Maple Leaf Sharpshooter, twisting "The
Innovater of Impossible" over and wrenching his legs and back into a
painful position. The referee kneels by Caliko, awaiting the tap, but
Caliko persists, dragging himself towards the ropes with amazing
upper body strength. He wraps his arms round the ropes. Wright
immediately unlocks the hold, turns and climbs the turnbuckle.
Caliko, with face down against the mat, still holds the ropes. Now on
the top rope, James points to his knee and receives a bunch of boos.
Before the jeering dies, James leaps knee-first and brings it down on
the lower back of Caliko. A groan comes from Seth Caliko and the
crowd.]
JP: Now that will hurt.
Sully: I bet. Now's the time to finish
it.
[Wright stands and paces round the ring, waiting for movement from
"The Innovater of Impossible". Slowly, the big guy stands and
swaggers over to Wright, who draws him into the corner. Wright sits
on the top turnbuckle and draws "The Innovater of Impossible" even
closer.]
JP: Oh God. I think we know what's
coming.
Sully: Yes! My favourite part of James
Wright's matches!
["The Innovater of Impossible" is pulled onto the bottom
turnbuckle and JW loops his arms round the victim's stomach and
lifts but "The Innovater of Impossible" weight is a problem. He's
too sluggish in his exhausted state.]
Sully: Please! Hit the CopyWRIGHT!
[With a rush of energy, "The Innovater of Impossible" graps hold
of the ropes for support and back drops Wright up and over. Wright
takes a hold of Caliko's head on the way, though, and both men hit
the canvas hard. Wright takes it on the spine. Caliko takes it on the
neck. Both men are out.]
JP: It's anyone's game now!
Sully: They're both down...now James Wright
needs to win it for the MWF, we've two down at the moment and we need
this win.
JP: Do it for the MWF! But then again these
fans don't want to see James Wright win no matter what happens
tonight...whether he's representing the MWF or not.
Sully: They're stupid then aren't they?
[Seth Caliko rolls over and the crowd go wild as he gets an arm
over James Wright and referee Grant August counts....1.....2...!
James Wright rolls a shoulder at the last second and the crowd can be
heard hitting their seats in anger and disbelief.]
JP: The spirit of "The Perfect One" can
never be doubted.
Sully: Hell no! He's a fighter and he's
fighting for the MWF here tonight but for some reason the fans don't
realise this!
["The Flash and Flare of Pro Wrestling" gathers himself to his
feet, he shouts something to the nearby crowd and they explode with
cheers as Seth Caliko signals for the Sweet Skull Music.]
JP: We haven't seen this for a while, I bet
"Twisted Vizion" are glad to see Seth Caliko back inside the ring
once again.
Sully: Jay T will be even happier, an easy
opponent to beat!
[Seth Caliko crouches down and taunts James Wright, the Canadian
is down on the mat but slowly he raises his head and he can see Seth
Caliko. "The Innovator of Impossible" is shouting all kinds of abuse
as slowly but surely James Wright gets to his feet, his balance is a
little off and he slowly looks to Seth Caliko. All "The Perfect One"
is able to see is the flat of Seth Caliko's boot as the Sweet Skull
Music connects and James Wright is flung off his feet and crashes to
the canvas. Seth Caliko covers as the crowd go
wild.....1......2......3! The bell sounds as Seth Caliko rolls away
from James Wright and raises his arm.]
JP: Seth Caliko's done it, he's damn well
beaten James Wright....
Sully: ...How the hell can they cheer him?
He's just put the MWF four one down in this MCPW series!
JP: The MWF can fight back.
Sully: Not if wrestlers like Seth Caliko
keep jumping ship, he needs to make his mind up, is he MWF or
MCW?
[Seth Caliko grabs the ropes for support as he tumbles from the
ring and he walks around the outside, high fiving fans as he staggers
towards the entrance way. James Wright is rubbing his head in the
ring, wondering what the hell happened as "The Flash and Flare of Pro
Wrestling" raises both arms in a victory salute.]
Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall, Seth
Caliko!
JP: The MWF's got a mountain to climb if
they want to come back from this...Seth has inflicted a painful
victory here tonight.
Sully: I wonder how his friends at "Twisted
Vizion" will react...I can't see them being too happy about
this.
JP: I'm sure there will be no hard feelings,
it was just one match after all.
Sully: It's a big win though, being four one
up in a series is a big deal!
JP: The MWF can come back...
Sully: I hope so!
