Anarkist
versus
"The Real Deal" Ernest Reeves
Singles Match
Referee: Grant August
Writer: Ed Walker
JP: This match is going to be a very
decisive match. We are going to see the return of a true MWF legend
into the ring...
Sully: ...I think we saw his return last
week when he beat the living hell out of "Twisted Vizion", I couldn't
help but laugh.
JP: That's all you seem to spend your time
doing..."Twisted Vizion" must be one of the most powerful forces in
the whole of wrestling and all you managed to do while they were
being destroyed by Anarkist was laugh at their plight.
Sully: I'm hardly likely to cheer them on am
I? They are the bully boys of the MWF, Walker thinks he can just push
everyone around and Anarkist has comeback to show them who is
boss.
JP: Walker's got every right to do what he
wants, he built this place up from nothing.
Sully: There is too much red tape! Walker's
on a power trip and Iniquity, Wayne, Doomsday and the rest of them
they are all his little chess pieces that he plays whenever he feels
like it. Whoever is attacking them really knows how to disrupt a
stable.
JP: There were so many suspects...
Sully: ...shall we just focus on the task in
hand and that is Anarkist's return to the MWF, a former two time MWF
World Champion is about to get back inside the ring and we're here
discussing a failed stable.
JP: Ernest Reeves has a huge chance tonight
to beat a world beater, a legend.
Sully: Reeves doesn't have a chance, he's a
little upstart who will be thoroughly crushed by the strength that
Anarkist has.
JP: It's almost scary thinking about what
Anarkist has done to past opponents and tonight he's taking on a
relatively inexperienced wrestler.
Sully: Anarkist strangely seems to have some
respect for Reeves, he seems to understand that everyone has to be a
rookie at one time in their careers.
JP: It's how those rookies conduct
themselves that decides whether they will make it in the MWF.
Sully: Reeves isn't doing too badly, shame
he has quite a cocky attitude...
JP: ....I wouldn't call him cocky, he's
nothing compared to Anarkist. How can Anarkist walk in here and
announce that Doomsday isn't fit to be a champion?
Sully: Because he speaks the truth, I mean,
Doomsday didn't win that belt he was awarded it!
[As Sully is speaking the lights in the
arena begin to dim slightly and Peter Santos walks into the middle of
the ring. A smile is on his face as he checks his mic before
bellowing into it.]
Peter Santos: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight
is a standard match, scheduled for one fall. Would you please welcome
first, making his return to the....
[Santos can't finish his sentence as the
crowd let rip with a huge sea of jeers, Santos looks around, almost
stunned at the reaction.]
JP: Whoah! I haven't heard a rection like
that in a long time....I know these fans don't like Anarkist but I
didn't know it was going to be that intense.
Sully: How can these people not realise what
a legend he is? I am sure these people once cheered him and now they
can't help but despise and because of what? His success! He is one of
the best wrestlers we've ever had in the MWF and they just can't
handle that he's better than two Doomsday's put together.
[Peter Santos raises his hand for some quiet, some of the crowd
respond by toning down their jeering while others continue to heckle
loudly.]
Peter Santos: Weighing in at 313 lbs., from Toronto, Ontario,
Canada, Anarkist!
["Papercut" by Linkin Park blares from the PA system and the crowd
go wild with anger as Anarkist comes striding into view. He makes his
way through a screen of white mist, smirking as the fans shout "You
Suck!" over the top of the music. His white velvet pants read the
inscription 'Anarkist!' and he points to it as he walks down the
entrance ramp.]
JP: He is one of the most hated men in the
MWF, I bet Walker's blood is boiling just watching this man out
there.
Sully: It's only because this is the man who
took Walker's daughter and made her his wife!
JP: That reminds me, did you catch what
Anarkist said the other day?
Sully: No...
JP: ....Laura's had a baby, the MWF
President is now officially a grandad!
Sully: Grandad Walker! Haha!
[The former MWF World Champion reaches the ring in quick time, he
pauses for a moment and instead of getting into the ring he turns and
walks around the side. Anarkist stares at the fans as he walks, his
eyes picking out each person in the crowd as they lean forward and
shout abuse at the man himself. Anarkist turns away from them and
climbs up onto the ring apron, he steps into the ring and walks
towards the centre of it. A smile creeps over his face as he looks
around the crowd, cameras flashing like mad as he raises his arms and
drops them....as his arms fall towards his waist there is a huge
burst of flame from the turnbuckles sending screams from the crowd.]
JP: Whoah!
Sully: What an entrance by Anarkist, you
know JP he just looks really empty without the MWF World Championship
on his arm.
JP: Like a man without a wife?
Sully: Yeah, kind of like that.
[Anarkist is staring at the entrance way where no one stands,
Peter Santos raises the mic and bellows again.]
Peter Santos: And the opponent, weighing in at 247 lbs., from
Miami, Florida, "The Real Deal" Ernest Reeves!
[As "Livin It Up" by Limp Bizkit hits the PA system a big cheer
goes up from the crowd as the MWF rookie makes his way out onto the
entrance way. He is staring at the ring, his vision focused totally
on the figure of Anarkist standing there watching the young hopeful.
Anarkist's hand reaches over and grabs the mic from the grasp of
Peter Santos and the two time MWF World Champion speaks over the
noise of the music.]
Anarkist: Turn this damn shit off....
[The music begins to fade, Anarkist walks forward so that he is
standing very near the ropes.]
Anarkist: Reeves, you wait there for a
moment. You remember what I said? Tonight is your big chance kid, I
want you to stand there for a moment and think about what it means to
be out here....these people just cheered for you and now you want to
walk down to the ring without taking a moment to remember where you
are.
[A rumble of discontent comes from the crowd, Anarkist ignores
this and continues.]
Anarkist: Find your fuel Reeves and whatever
it is you come on down to this ring and you hit the gas on me....and
I'll make sure that no matter how much is in your tank I will always
send you back needing more!
[Reeves stares not at Anarkist but up at the arena roof, the
lights beam down onto his small frame. His eyes are closed and the
camera begins to pan up towards him. Slowly Reeves' head drops and he
stares at the ring, he turns and looks around the arena at the fans
who have hushed themselves to watch Reeves. The eyes of Reeves dart
around, looking from section to section of the arena. He looks up at
the arena lights again before suddenly snapping his head down and a
huge smile comes across his face.]
JP: This doesn't look good for Anarkist,
something tells me that Ernest Reeves has just found his fuel!
Sully: I really doubt Anarkist is scared of
someone with a name like Ernest, I mean come on...if someone
approached you called Ernest and said he was going to beat you
up...you'd laugh right?
["The Real Deal" begins to jog down the entrance way, he raises
his arms and whips the crowd up so that he is running down the
entrance ramp with a wall of sound coming after him. Reeves hits the
ring, sliding under the ropes and he goes straight after Anarkist.
Grant August calls for the bell as "The Real Deal" slams himself into
Anarkist, knocking the two time MWF World Champion back slightly.
Reeves laughs and punches into the chest of Anarkist, it has no
effect, Reeves punches again and now Anarkist is laughing as he grabs
Reeves by the head and forces him into a headlock. The crowd cheer as
Reeves slips out of the back and elbows Anarkist in the back,
Anarkist staggers forward and Reeves lands another elbow to the spine
of Anarkist before whittling Anarkist down to his knees with a brutal
kick to the back of the knee.]
JP: Is this a sign of ring rust? Is the
great Anarkist going to fall right here...
Sully: ...give him a chance JP, this match
is only just beginning, while I expected it to be all one way I knew
there might be the odd bit of friction.
JP: There will be more than friction tonight
that's for sure, Reeves is going to use this "fuel" and rip right
into Anarkist and leaving him wishing he never asked "The Real Deal"
to find his fuel.
Sully: It's great to see Anarkist back in
the ring though, he's been away too long.
[Ernest Reeves stands up over the fallen Anarkist, smiling. The
smile is soon wiped off his face as suddenly Anarkist comes back to
his feet and a punch fires into Ernest Reeves' neck. "The Real Deal"
grabs his neck and chokes hard, holding his neck, Anarkist grabs
Reeves and sends him running into the ropes...Reeves hits the ropes
and comes back to be knocked out by a huge punch that shatters into
the face of Reeves. Anarkist laughs and grabs the ropes to support
him as he stamps down on Ernest Reeves.]
JP: Anarkist has come back to life here on
Dynamite...Reeves needs to remain calm and remember that fuel he has
inside of him.
Sully: A shame that fuel is economy standard
and won't get him very far, a few miles at best.
JP: I'm not looking forward to seeing what
Reeves can do, I think Anarkist lovers like you Sully might be
surprised by this young man's talent.
Sully: He's been overhyped like so many
wrestlers...I can't believe he's already main eventing a Monday Night
Dynamite.
[Anarkist stops stamping on Ernest Reeves and grabs Reeves by his
hair and pulls him to his feet...Reeves is lifted up and the crowd
jeer as Anarkist places Reeves onto his shoulders. Anarkist brings
Reeves down with a huge military press, Reeves flys and lands face
first, bouncing up high off the canvas. The "Weapon of Mass
Destruction" covers, Grant August counts....1.....2! Reeves manages
to fly his shoulder off the canvas. Anarkist grabs the shoulder of
Ernest Reeves and wrenches it back, Reeves roars with pain as
Anarkist's knee is inserted into the shoulder socket of "The Real
Deal".]
JP: Anarkist is going to snap Reeves in half
if he keeps that move going...
Sully: ....that must really hurt, poor old
Reeves is really going to be hurting in the morning after a move like
that.
JP: That's the most sympathy I've ever heard
come from your mouth Sully...
Sully: ...I was being sarcastic! I hope
Reeves wakes up with an aching back and realises he belongs in the
midcard.
[The crowd have been quietened by the attack of Anarkist and the
assault continues as Anarkist lifts up Ernest Reeves, "The Real Deal"
is holding his shoulder as he is sent with an irish whip to the
turnbuckle...he hits the turnbuckle and slumps against it. Anarkist
walks meancingly towards him, "The Real Deal" is leaning back,
holding his shoulder. Anarkist grabs Reeves by the side and hoists
him up and brings him down with a huge tilt-a-whirl-slam. The crowd
jeer as Anarkist cockily poses over the fallen Ernest Reeves, as if
to say "this is how it's done". Anarkist can be seen trash talking
Reeves as he drops an elbow onto the rookie, this is followed by
another elbow. Anarkist mounts Ernest Reeves and the crowd jeer as he
pulls back his right fist and lets fly....the left fist follows and
the punches rain down onto the face of Ernest Reeves. There is
nothing "The Real Deal" can do with three hundred odd pounds sitting
on top of him, he attempts to push Anarkist off but the former MWF
World Champion is too strong. Anarkist puts his hands around the
throat of Ernest Reeves and begins to throttle him, the legs and arms
of Ernest Reeves flail wildly as Anarkist wraps his hands around the
throat of Reeves.]
JP: My God! Anarkist is going to strangle
Ernest Reeves in this very ring...
Sully: ...I knew he wasn't very happy when
he came back to the MWF but now we are seeing the real anger of
Anarkist inside this ring.
JP: He's like a beast unleashed from a cage,
the MWF President is watching this backstage.
Sully: Oh I'm sure he will be, Ed will be
sitting backstage and thinking how he ever allowed Anarkist to step
foot in the MWF again...and the fallout from that action is being
seen.
JP: The fallout being that Ernest Reeves may
not be able to walk after this match is finished.
Sully: Good! Then maybe he'd shut up for a
while, I think Anarkist is planning to rip out the throat of Ernest
Reeves then he'll never be able to talk again.
[Anarkist moves his weight back and stands up, his hands still
around the throat of Reeves. Ernest Reeves finds himself being pulled
upwards and the crowd explode in anger as Anarkist hits the side
effect, sending Reeves smashing down to the ground. Reeves bounces
off the mat and Anarkist rolls him up with a school boy...Grant
August counts...1.....2! Ernest Reeves kicks out, rather sluggishly.
Anarkist rolls away and gets to his feet. He taunts the crowd,
raising his arms and looking confident as the fans boo and jeer the
former two time MWF World Champion. Anarkist shouts at Reeves to get
up and with a look of determination Reeves begins to climb to his
feet. The crowd is going wild as Reeves gives Anarkist the finger and
shouts something at him. Anarkist comes running at Ernest Reeves and
"The Real Deal" ducks a clothesline, Anarkist turns round and a
dropkick lands on Anarkist's chin, knocking him down to the mat.
Reeves grabs the legs of Anarkist and locks in a leg lock.]
JP: Here we go! Reeves is coming right back
into this one, he is going to take out the one part of Anarkist's
body that is more important than any others.
Sully: The legs of Anarkist are the base,
they are where all the power is and now Reeves is trying to break
them down.
JP: It's going to take a while, this is what
is so exciting about Ernest Reeves...he has that ability to use these
great tactics and awareness of when to use the right move.
Sully: Not many people duck an Anarkist
clothesline.
[Ernest Reeves has the leg lock hammered in tight, Anarkist's leg
is being twisted and wrenched as Reeves puts some more pressure on
it. Anarkist reaches out but his arm just misses the ropes, Grant
August is crouched down and anxiously watching on. Anarkist scrunches
his face into a ball to try and fight the pain, Reeves suddenly rolls
over and Anarkist roars with pain as the leglock becomes a boston
half crab. Reeves is sitting back and leaning back to exert as much
pressure as possible onto the back of Anarkist. The former two time
MWF World Champion reaches out and grabs the ropes...Grant August
calls Reeves off him. The crowd jeer as Anarkist holds the ropes and
pulls his legs away from Ernest Reeves.]
JP: Anarkist is in real pain right now,
Reeves using that expert technical skill to really make Anarkist
suffer.
Sully: Anarkist took some submission
classes, he got taught how to put the holds on but they forgot to
tell him how to take them off!
JP: That's just plain foolishness on the
part of Anarkist, he really should of known better.
Sully: He's got more than one braincell,
unfortunatly I think he overlooked the technical superiority that
Ernest Reeves has. However, Anarkist has greater power and brute
strength.
[Reeves doesn't let up, he pushes Anarkist and places the former
MWF World Champion's head onto the bottom rope. "The Real Deal" moves
away from Anarkist and he hypes the crowd up by starting a
handclap...he runs forward and Anarkist rolls out of the way. The
crowd gasp as Ernest Reeves is straddled on the ropes, Anarkist grabs
Ernest Reeves as "The Real Deal" turns round and is hoisted up in the
air. He is sitting on Anarkist's shoulders and the crowd goes wild
with anger as Anarkist hits The Broken Rule. Ernest Reeves' body is
left a crippled heap on the mat...Anarkist covers as Grant August
counts.....1.......2......3!]
JP: What a cheap win! Anarkist just can't do
anything properly can he.
Sully: That's called taking an
opportunity.
JP: He really took that well, but damnit,
Ernest Reeves put up one hell of a fight.
Sully: I was almost impressed, but not
enough.
Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall, Anarkist!
