"Hardcore Legend" Insane Wayne and "GMS" Gunman Stinger

versus

"The Deadly One" Doomsday and ViperJ

Tag Team Match

Referee: Grant August

Writer: Dom Stoate

[The superstars waste no time whatsoever to get stuck into their opponents. First up to be the legal ones in the match up are Insane Wayne and Doomsday. They both lunge into the centre of the ring, gripping onto each other's arms in a tight grapple that results in Doomsday, once a member of Twisted Vizion with Insane Wayne, getting the upper hand and twisting Wayne's arm, growling as he brings the large man to his knees before twisting his arm all the more and hammering him on the shoulder blade with a clenched fist. Wayne stumbles forwards onto his knees, already trying to make his way back towards his corner.]

JP: An early offensive from Doomsday who is really taking it to his former mentor, Insane Wayne!

Sully: I don't think there's been any love loss between these two since the termination of Twisted Vizion.

[Doomsday cries out, yelling down towards Wayne who reaches out to seize the bottom rope in a desperate attempt to make it to his feet. He marches over towards Wayne, dragging him to his feet by his hair. Wayne tilts his head back as he is dragged, crying out in pain as he is pulled up and Doomsday piles on the attack, letting go of his hair before slamming a fist across the face of Wayne, sending him back down to the canvas again before turning and, in an early exchange, moving over to make the tag with ViperJ who eagerly makes it into the ring, ducking under the top rope.]

JP: An early tag there, letting ViperJ get into the action whilst Insane Wayne is down.

Sully: He's giving him a gift! Doomsday did the work and it's almost as if ViperJ is coming in to get the pin!

JP: I don't think it's quite that simple, Sully. Wayne is one of the most experienced in the business and no one can take him out that easily.

Sully: But that's what it's like. Doomsday is so damn confident and cocky. TOO confident and TOO cocky, if you ask me.

[Doomsday cracks a little smile as he tags ViperJ in, letting the shorter guy move into the ring and intercept Wayne on his attempt to make the tag with Gunman Stinger, who seems particularly eager to get into the action. ViperJ immediately starts the attack, stomping down onto Wayne's back with a hard stomp before, after dragging him away from the turnbuckle where Gunman waits to be tagged, rolling him over for the tag.12.Wayne, as everyone expected, gets the shoulder up and escapes the pin.]

JP: Like I said, it will take a lot more than that to keep him down for the count. He's not a weak man. He's an incredibly talented athlete and he still has a lot to offer the MWF, despite his bad run recently with Gunman Stinger.

Sully: He's a lone wolf, JP. He's a lone wolf and I think Gunman Stinger is just bringing him down. I like Stinger an' all, but he's not quite at the same level as Wayne at the moment.

JP: I have to disagree with that one. I happen to believe that it is Wayne that is holding GMS back. After all, look at their records before the stable was formed. Stinger was on the up. He won the TV title and was on the best form of his career and then Wayne, who had not been too impressive in the ring since his return to the wrestling side of the business, swooped along and joined him. Ever since, neither of them have been able to get off the ground as an aligned force and I believe that it is Wayne that needs to get his finger out.

[ViperJ does not seem surprised that Wayne manages to make it to his feet. In fact, he seems to have been expecting it, moving Wayne across the mat by grabbing him beneath the arms. He seems to have been thinking too little of Wayne, expecting to get away with just being able to cart him about the ring. He was not. Wayne flings an elbow back, snapping out of the daze that had encompassed him at the early stages of the match, striking ViperJ across the face and causing him to let go, falling back against the canvas. The fans see this as a cheap shot and start to jeer Wayne who turns around, moving onto his knees and commencing what could only be described as a blatant choke to ViperJ who writhes on the mat.]

JP: An obvious choke there!

Sully: No way, ref! He's got five seconds!

[He carries on gagging the life out of ViperJ as the referee makes the count. Doomsday yells across the ring at Wayne, leaning over the ropes and clapping ViperJ on who lays, sprawled out across the ring mat after the vicious attack. Wayne stands up, smiling smugly as he turns and leisurely makes his way back over towards Gunman Stinger who he happily makes the tag with.]

JP: And finally, Wayne makes the tag to Gunman.

[Gunman clings under the top rope, heading towards the centre of the ring where ViperJ lays, trying to make it to his stomach in order to crawl back to his corner. Stinger yells to the fans, sounding as if he wanted them to be against him as he makes his first contribution to the match, drawing up his foot before stamping it across the face of his downed opponent. ViperJ screams out, kicking his feet a little bit as his hands reach up to cradle his nose which seemed to be the target of the blow. Doomsday cries out, leaning over the ropes to have a few words with the referee who shrugs his shoulders.]

JP: Gunman Stinger taking on from where Insane Wayne left off. His game is as dark and as conceded as Wayne's and they look to pile the attack on ViperJ who remains stranded, helpless in the middle of the ring.

[Gunman pulls ViperJ up by the ear, smiling as he enjoys the power that he has over his opponent. He seems so confident, in fact, that he turns his attention away from the man whose ear he grips to. It works against him, though, as ViperJ snaps out of what trance he was put in by the viciousness of his opponents and he pulls back a fist before slamming it across the face of Gunman who cries out and releases his grip, falling backwards. The fans immediately get behind ViperJ who delivers another huge punch to his face before leaning back against the ropes behind him before darting forwards and hits Gunman over the top rope with a flying clothesline.]

JP: What a shot! Sending Gunman Stinger clean over the rope!

[ViperJ turns around, Wayne surging into the ring. ViperJ ducks under the oncoming clothesline from him and, although he didn't realise it, lets Doomsday (who has since entered the ring) slam a hand across the throat of Insane Wayne. The fans go wild as they see the glint in Doomsday's eye as he turns around, squeezing the throat of the ex-President of the MWF so that he is leaning against the ropes. Doomsday would grip even tighter, Wayne's eyes bulging as he is hauled up, his feet brushing the ropes as he is hauled over them and slammed down onto the other side of the ring, crashing down onto the outside, much to the delight of the audience.]

JP: Chokeslam! To the outside of the ring!

Sully: No! He's not the legal man!

JP: It doesn't seem to matter! The referee has his attention on Gunman Stinger who is slowly struggling to get back into the ring.

[Stinger rolls under the ring, apparently not seeing Doomsday make an appearance in the ring. GMS rolls into the ring, expecting and ready to only be met by ViperJ. He is not prepared to be seized by Doomsday though who ignores the shouts and orders of the referee. ViperJ turns back to Gunman as the ex-TV Title-holder is hauled towards him by Doomsday. ViperJ hits Gunman immediately with The Low Down! The fans go crazy and he'd drop down, hooking the leg. 123! The bell rings and GMS rolls out of the ring to join the massive Wayne who had been so impressively hauled out of the ring. Doomsday grabs onto the wrist of ViperJ as his music hits and the fans start to chant their names. Doomsday points at ViperJ as he yells and J nods, looking across the fans and pointing at them.]

Peter Santos: And your winners, through pin fall, Doomsday and ViperJ!

JP: One of the shortest matches of the night, surely! ViperJ proving his worth with a little bit of help from Doomsday!

Sully: A &endash;little bit?- That was cheating! He should never have been allowed to interfere like that. After what he did to Insane Wayne, he should have been ordered from the ring or had his team disqualified!

JP: Well, it's all over and we now know who will be joining the match at March Madness.

Sully: Doomsday and ViperJ have an early chance at the MWF Tag Team Championships.

JP: We're going to take a short break, see you on the other side of this.
