JP: What a fantastic match.

Sully: This Japanese crowd were loving the action there, some real hardcore stuff.

JP: Seraph really added to the style of that match.

Sully: He's a good product, Walker made the right choice in bringing him up now to the MWF.

JP: Seraph's a tough wrestler and any of these three would be a tough challenge for The Grudge.

Sully: I don't know, The Grudge has really stepped up his game recently and is turning into one of the MWF's biggest stars.

JP: Well, Seraph of course came up through MSW and another former MSW wrestler is Steven Douglas.

Sully: It sure is...Douglas has been making great strides but all his winning and boasting will come to an end on Dynamite, tonight, as he takes on Insane Wayne and Gunman Stinger in a handicap match.

JP: I wouldn't be so sure, we're going to watch an exclusive interview I held with "The Enervator" ahead of tonight's show and he seemed confident.

Sully: He doesn't seem like the same guy that came back from Missouri State Wrestling. He looks improved, by a hell of a lot. Hell, this is the guy that lost about eight matches on the bounce didn't he?

JP: To put it politely, Douglas didn't have the best of luck when he started out in the MWF last year but since he returned last month he has proved his worth.

[The scene cuts backstage, in a pre-recorded setting. Two men inhabit one room, one of them being a short, stocky man who cares more about excellent journalism than he does physical fitness. That man is dressed in black pants and a jet black shirt, with a set of papers in his hand. The man is John Pilkington, known best as the Maximum Wrestling Federation's beloved colour commentator, JP. Like mentioned before, there are two men, the other being almost the exact opposite of the first. The second is a man dressed is also dressed in black pants, but has a shirt that looks like something straight out of Las Vegas, very gaudy and bright. His black hair is combed back, and he has a pair of designer sunglasses on. That man is "The Enervator" Steven Douglas, a man whos stock is continually rising. Pilkington glances at Steven, letting him know what is now evident to be an interview is about to begin.]

JP: Hello Maximum Wrestling Federation fans and staff, today I am interviewing a man who is apparently destined for a great future here, Steven Douglas. Welcome, Steven.

Steven Douglas: Thank you for having me.

JP: Let's get started here, firstly I wanted to ask why you decided to go by the nickname of, The Enervator .

Steven Douglas: Well, I knew that I was able to call myself a flurry of names, but I chose The Enervator because it was such a private word, by that I mean not many people had heard of the word. When I first introduced the word, not a single person knew what it meant. Some people just did not know what I was talking about whatsoever, while most thought I said innovator . Most people still do not know the meaning of the word, but that is rapidly changing as I become better known. The actual meaning of it is, one who destroys the vitality of another, which describes what I do. I take the things that are vital for people to survive and destroy them, rendering them completely helpless. I do not know of a more suitable phrase.

JP: Alright, next question, when you first arrived here in the Maximum Wrestling Federation, you were nothing more than just another midcard wrestler. Since then, you have evolved into one of the best in this federation. What have you done to escalate your skills, even as you have aged?

Steven Douglas: To be honest, I have no idea what has happened, for certain that is. It's a well known fact that when you age, your skills are supposed to diminish. However, mine have only excelled, something that confuses me a bit. The thing is though, I always knew that I was destined for greatness, but after my continual losses I was beginning to doubt myself. While I did not know if my predictions of fame would ever come into a realization, I decided to keep competing, and to just hope and dream. Indeed my first thoughts were correct, and I am glad now that I stuck with what I believed in. I am just grateful that Walker came to his senses and re-hired me, or else I might not have ever realized the talent that I now know I have.

JP: Where do you think you would be now if CEO Walker had not given you another chance?

Steven Douglas: Probably in the Global Wrestling Alliance, the World champion, I think. Either there or in Worldwide Entertainment Wrestling, but because of Lee Watson's involvement in that federation, I doubt it.

JP: You have said, on numerous occasions, that your time in Missouri State Wrestling seemed like a waste to you. Why are you so resentful to the Maximum Wrestling Federation's developmental territory?

Steven Douglas: Well, to be honest I don't think that Missouri State Wrestling was such a horrible experience. If it had not been created, I would have never gotten another chance. See, Edward acknowledged that he would not welcome me back into the Maximum Wrestling Federation, but I knew that he could not keep me out of his developmental territory. I was able to prove that I could handle myself in the ring as well as backstage, so Edward brought me back. However, my time there was not one of my careers high points. The place was filled with unproven, unprofessional people who had an overall sour attitude. I just felt out of place there, like I had something that the rest of them lacked, and I believed I was ready to advance to the next level.

JP: We have seen now that Walker made a sensational decision in re-hiring you. Rumour has it that this is actually your third chance.

Steven Douglas: Right, I first was hired way back when, which was chance number one. The second chance was one that Ed had offered me, but the opportunity required me to wait a month to return. I was so anxious to make my way back onto Maximum Wrestling Federation soil, and was unable to wait. I said to forget the opportunity, and Walker was a bit sore about that sentiment. Missouri State Wrestling was chance number three, and hopefully it will be the last chance I need, because it was the last one I will get.

JP: Now that you are back, what is your current goal here?

Steven Douglas: Well, my current goal is to defeat Insane Wayne and Gunman Stinger this week. I always concentrate on the task at hand, but I have multiple goals that hide in the back of my mind. After I defeat those two in the handicap match, my goal will be the Television title. I know now that I am good enough to get that belt, and I am certain that after beating Gunman Stinger two weeks in a row, his ego will be hurt enough to be certain of that too. Then, as everyone elses main goal is, I would like to win the World title. Do I think that I am good enough to win it now? No, however I think that in time I will be. My ultimate goal is to become the greatest this federation has ever seen, to become a legend amongst mere men. That will be the most tedious of tasks because it will take a long while until I am even thought to be slightly considered in that group, but I am willing to do whatever it takes.

JP: So you don t think that you can beat Thunder Bull as of now?

Steven Douglas: I really don t know the thing is, I know I can beat Cristiano Tivelli, and thought that if Tivelli beat Thunder Bull, then I could beat him. However, Thunder Bull won, so I still cannot be sure. It s not about being able to beat him, because I know I can do that, but when I say beat him, I mean beat him on a regular basis, not just being a fluke. Sorry if that sounded a bit contradictory, but I wanted to make that clear.

JP: Lee Watson has said

Steven Douglas: John, listen, I have no intention of speaking on Lee Watson ever again. He has said a lot of things, but I have proved them all wrong. He means nothing to me now.

JP: Alright, well, may I ask, do you have any information on your former Global Wrestling Alliance tag team championship partner Gutter Rat, whether why he left or when he will return?

Steven Douglas: Not any particular information; not much more than you know. I have heard that a return is likely, and also that a return in the near future is possible, but I think that if he does come back, his welcome will not be so warm as last time. He left not only when he was in his prime, but also when we needed him the most. Expect him to have to earn everything all over again when he comes back, well, if he come back.

JP: Last question for you Douglas, do you think that it will ever be possible for you to get the respect that you believe you deserve, or will deserve?

Steven Douglas: I am not sure, it is debatable. I think we will just have to wait and see. Right now I am just starting to gain some respect, but you have to remember this is twice as hard for me because not only do I have to earn respect for my current actions, but I have to get enough respect for people to forget my previous actions. I just do not know now.

JP: Well, thank you for taking the time to sit and talk with me here.

Steven Douglas: No problem.

[The camera cuts back to the arena where JP and Sully are sitting, cheers can be heard after the Steven Douglas interview and some of the fans chant for "The Enervator" to make a public appearance.]

Sully: Good job JP, you really are the man to ask the questions we all want to know. It was really interesting to hear that Gutter Rat might be coming back.

JP: Sure is, I can't wait to see the "Rat Bastard" back on our screens.

Sully: We'd better not build up false hopes though...Gutter Rat hasn't been seen for a while now.

JP: He had a bitter rivalry with Father John Ramsey and they never really got to finish what they started.

Sully: Nah, they didn't did they?

JP: Nope. I think Gutter Rat needs to come back from whatever shadow he's under and really show Father John Ramsey something.

Sully: I'm no fan of Ramsey....I don't like him at all. He's like a piece of religious propaganda.

JP: Speak of the Priest, he's going to be coming up next. He's got a tricky match against Enigma.

Sully: The Master Plan have returned to action, and they did a fantastic job at Conflict.

JP: I'm still doubtful of their current popularity but they're doing well that's for sure.

Sully: Perhaps people are just coming around to the thinking of Tempest...he is a genius after all.

JP: Well, we shall find out after this break whether Enigma can defeat the might of Father John Ramsey.
