Gunman Stinger

versus

Fear

Steel Cage  #1 Contenders Match.

Writer: Dom Stoate

[Gunman Stinger is waiting in the ring when Fear finally makes his appearance at the top of the ramp. He leans down, chewing on gum visibly as he waits inside the steel cage. The door hangs open with the referee standing besides it, waiting for Fear to make it down the ramp and into the cage. ]

Sully: I fear- that Fear- is going to be out of practise for this match. It is his first match in ages and he is going against GMS and not only is he against Stinger, but he is also in a steel cage!

JP: But lets not forget that this is Fear that Gunman is against. Fear is a legend and he is never a push over, no matter what match practise he has.

[Eventually, Fear makes it into the ring. He climbs under the bottom rope, through the heavy metal door. He rolls up to his feet, Gunman Stinger backing off visibly as Fears music goes on. The fans cheer Fear as he raises his arms in a salute to them before turning and meeting gazes with Gunman. Gunman raises his hands and cries out: Cmon, dawg! Lets do this! Fear glares right through Gunman Stinger. ]

JP: Fear is hungry for a win. He wants a win and he wants that T.V. title.

[Gunman backs off against the steel wall of the cage before taking a step forwards and saying something to the referee. The referee nods and then speaks to Fear before leaning down and going to check him for any foreign objects. Fear raises his arms, accepting the search before signalling towards GMS. GMS backs off a little bit before reluctantly accepting the body search that the referee gives him. The referee touches him up a bit, GMS looking noticeably uncomfortable before pulling away. The referee says something to him again before taking a step back. He would say something else to the two who now begin to trash talk each other before turning and making his way out of the open door. He would step onto the padding outside of the ring before closing the steel door. Gunman watches as the key is inserted and the cage is locked and the referee makes his way over towards the ring announcer. ]

JP: I think the referee is about ready to get this match underway here.

[He is. The bell rings after a few quick words with the ring announcer and the match begins. Gunman steps forwards and outstretches a hand, looking for an agreement of friendship before the match. Fear bats at the hand much to the delight of the fans. GMS looks much less than happy and pauses for a moment before lunging and landing a blow across the face of Fear, sending him backwards into the ropes. He leans into them as GMS steps forwards and strikes him across the face again. Third time. Fourth time!  Fear clings to the ropes, putting his weight onto them as GMS screams at him before signalling towards the audience who receive the taunt from the ring with a big jeer. ]

JP: GMS firmly on top in these opening stages. And I dont know if Fear is ready for this.

[He certainly doesnt seem to. Hed lean into the ropes, half on the floor as GMS turns back to him and seizes him by the hair. GMS seems firmly in control as he signals to the audience, smiling happily as he hauls Fear up to his feet. Fear seems completely out of it, stunned by the early blows and stunned even further when GMS plants his face into the hard metal of the steel cage. Fear hits the deck on his back, rolling onto his front, groaning. ]

Sully: It is over. It is over before it even begins. This is sad, JP. Fear is a pathetic mess on the canvas here.

[GMS, chest heaving and fists clenched, would look down at the wreck of Fear before turning and observing what he has to put to use in the cage. Should he end it now? Show everyone his supremacy? He grabs onto Fear, pulling him up into a standing position once more before clutching his arm around his throat. He glances about for a moment or two before, growling, jumping upwards and hitting the Scorpion Slam! ]

[The fans sound dejected as Fears body hits the canvas and he lays there, completely out of it. GMS looks about, a big smile on his face as if he himself cant believe it before he stoops down and goes for the cover. ]

[123! ]

[He stands up, raising his arms in victory, the fans extremely disappointed in the result of the match and the way that it had come about]

Peter Santos: Here is your winner, Gunman Stinger!

JP: Fear was caught off guard at the beginning. I dont think he has the heart anymore.

Sully: That had to be the quickest match in history!

JP: What a waste of a steel cage. Fear just didnt stand a chance. He looked as if he had his mind on other things.

Sully: Some Elite! That was a pathetic display!

[Gunman Stinger raises his arms in victory, pacing about the cage a little bit before finally making his way towards the outside of it, barking out at the referee for him to open the door which he does as quickly as he can. He smiles as he notices the form of his crew making their way down the ring. He is embraced by them before being lead up the ramp. ]

Sully: Isnt that a beautiful sight, JP?

JP: Im worried. Im worried that Fears time just may be up. I dont think he has what it takes at this level anymore.

Sully: Absolutely.

JP: Well, this for sure: If he doesnt pick himself out of this rut soon, the managements patience is going to run thin, and he is going to be at a lesser promotionperhaps out of a job
