Sully: We need to turn our attention to another important match and that is
coming up right now, Apache versus Fear for the MWF Television Championship.
[Peter Santos is taking his place in the centre of the ring, the fans begin to
settle as he speaks.]
Peter Santos: This match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Maximum
Wrestling Federation Television Championship!
[A cheer goes up from the crowd at this announcement and a loud "Apache!
Apache!" chant goes up as they await the return of the MWF Television Champion.]
JP: The crowd are going to blow the roof off this arena when he makes his way
down to the ring, they can't wait to see "The Dark Conscience" back in action.
Sully: A shame that despite all this admiration for him he won't be able to beat
Fear.
JP: Why not? I'm sure he's beaten him before and Fear's not exactly got the
greatest record in the MWF.
Sully: It's not always about facts and figures JP.
Peter Santos: Introducing first, from parts unknown, weighing in at 299 lbs.,
a member of "Team Elite" and accompanied by Thunder Bull, he is the Maximum
Wrestling Federation Television Champion, "The Dark Conscience" Apache!
["Tear It Up" by Andrew WK hits the PA system and the crowd explode as Apache
comes out from behind the entrance curtain, the MWF Television Championship is
around his waist as he strides ahead of Thunder Bull and the crowd respond as he
raises his arms to one side of the arena. He sprints to the other side of the
entrance way and raises his arms to the other half of the arena who cheer just
as loudly. He turns back and heads down the entrance ramp, Thunder Bull is
discussing something with him as they walk.]
JP: The crowd are loving this, Apache's been away for a while and he has one of
the best records in the MWF.
Sully: You and your facts and figures, what did I tell you? Tonight is not about
the facts or the figures, it's about getting even.
JP: I can't wait to see Apache retain the belt, Apache versus Gutter Rat will be
one hell of a match that's for sure.
Sully: Don't count Fear out, trust me on this!
[Apache reaches the ring and referee Charles Galliant calls him over, Apache
places the MWF Television Championship into the hands of the head referee and
Galliant raises the belt so the crowd can see it. Galliant gives a nod to Peter
Santos and the announcer continues.]
Peter Santos: And the opponent, weighing in at 250 lbs., currently residing
in Death Valley, accompanied by Darla, "The Demon Knight", Fear!
[The arena lights flash yellow and black and onto the entrance way walks Fear,
Darla is on his arm as "Down With The Sickness" by Disturbed blasts from the PA
system and Fear nods his head in time with the music. His eyes are fixed on the
ring where Apache waits, Thunder Bull points something out to the MWF Television
Champion and Apache nods.]
JP: Fear's eyes are fixed on one thing and one thing only...
Sully: ...mine are on Darla, look at that lovely lady.
JP: She sure is something but all Fear is thinking about now is the fact that
Apache has the MWF Television Championship and it is his time to take it off
him.
Sully: A month and a half Apache has held the belt and I think "Team Elite"
would be rocked if they lost this belt.
[Fear slides into the ring as Darla stays at ringside, Fear gets straight in the
face of Apache and the two men exchanges pleasantries before Charles Galliant
gets in-between them and tells them to calm it down. Galliant checks Fear for
weapons and upon inspection is happy, Darla claps and cheers her man but the
crowd jeer loudly and start up the "Apache! Apache!" chant once again...Apache
looks around the arena as if savouring the moment. The bell suddenly sounds and
the fans roar as Apache looks to make the first move, he steps forward and
challenges Fear to a test of strength..."The Demon Knight" accepts and the two
men lock up. The smaller Fear is in trouble as Apache leans his weight into him
and pushes him down...Fear drops to his knees and the crowd roar as Apache hauls
Fear up and looks for a suplex. Fear goes up and over Apache but in mid air
flips out and lands on his feet, Apache turns round and Fear grabs him and sends
him into the ropes.]
JP: The early exchanges shows just how strong Apache is compared to Fear.
Sully: But the doggedness of Fear is not to be underestimated, this guy will
scrap until he's half dead.
JP: We saw on WEW Cyberslam when Fear teamed with Gutter Rat just how dangerous
he can be....
Sully: ....if Fear wins tonight he's going to have to face the very man he
teamed up with.
[Apache is slumped in the corner and the crowd jeer as Fear runs at the
turnbuckle and lands a clothesline that slams the back of Apache's head into the
ring post. Darla squeals with delight as her man grabs Apache and pulls him up
to the top rope, Apache is sat on the top rope and Fear climbs up there with
him.]
JP: Fear taking a risk and going up top.
Sully: As long as it pays off it's fine.
["The Demon Knight" is on the top rope as well, Apache attempts to elbow Fear in
the ribs but a strong right hand from Fear subdues Apache and the crowd gasp as
Fear hooks his arm around the neck of Apache and superplexes him off the top
rope! Thunder Bull slams the side of the ring with frustration as both men stay
down on the canvas for a moment before Fear rolls over and covers Apache,
Galliant counts ....1......2! On two the MWF Television Champion rolls the
shoulder to the cheers of the crowd.]
JP: That was an early escape for the MWF Television Champion.
Sully: I'd say that Apache looks a little rusty, he hasn't been in the ring for
a while.
JP: Fear of course had that hard fought match against the WEW and it looks as
though it is not taking it's toll yet.
Sully: Fear must be knackered after that match, it seemed to go on for hours.
[Apache is dragged to his feet by Fear and the crowd boo as Fear takes control
with a knee to the ribs, "The Dark Conscience" is doubled up and Fear lifts him
up onto his shoulders. "The Demon Knight" shows fantastic strength to keep
Apache air born for a few moments, executing a death valley driver that makes
the whole ring shudder. Thunder Bull is looking very worried as Apache groans in
pain after the move, Fear moves around to the legs of the MWF Television
Champion.]
JP: Apache has hardly had a look in, Fear seems determined to keep his opponent
on the back foot for the whole match.
Sully: He wants the MWF Television Championship, I don't blame him at all.
JP: The MWF Television Champion needs to start fighting like one.
Sully: Or Thunder Bull will probably get involved soon and ruin the match.
[Fear is around at the legs of Apache and he grabs both of Apache's legs and the
crowd scream as Fear locks in the lion tamer leg lock. Fear roars with delight
and Darla claps and cheers for Fear as Apache looks to try and grab the ropes.
Thunder Bull is leaning on the ring, his face below the bottom rope as he looks
to encourage Apache...the MWF Television Champion roars with pain as Fear
stretches the move further putting extra pressure onto the back of Apache.
Charles Galliant checks Apache who is roaring with agony and leaning his arm
over towards the ropes, the fans try to drum out a sound to encourage him but
Apache's attempt at the ropes falls just short.]
JP: This is painful to watch...the back of Apache is being torn to shreds by
Fear.
Sully: The MWF Television Champion is finding out just how much Fear wants to
win this, he's been beaten to a pulp too many times and seen his dreams fade but
now he has an amazing chance.
JP: Apache needs to find some courage and really reach for those ropes.
Sully: Thunder Bull must be hating every single second of this match.
[Apache crawls forward and Fear responds by pulling the hold tighter, a cry goes
up from Apache as he fights through the pain barrier and grabs the bottom rope.
The fans go wild as Apache holds onto the ropes and Fear is dragged out of the
move by a concerned Charles Galliant, Fear roars with anger at having been
pulled off his opponent. Charles Galliant steps between Fear and Apache, "The
Demon Knight" is living and gets in the face of the match referee.]
JP: Not a wise idea Fear, this man can ruin all your dreams with the ring of a
bell.
Sully: Charles Galliant is not a referee you can intimidate easily.
JP: Tough as nails is Galliant.
Sully: Fear needs to focus before he lets Apache back into this match.
[Thunder Bull is shouting at Apache to get up and fight, the MWF Television
Champion holds his back and slowly climbs to his feet...the crowd roar as he is
on his feet, he turns and spots that Fear and Galliant are still arguing. Apache
starts to run towards them, Fear spots Apache's charge and he pushes Galliant
out of the way...Apache looks for a clothesline but "The Demon Knight" spots the
move and ducks. Apache goes flying past, hits the ropes on the opposite side of
the ring and comes running back for a second shot. Fear crouches down and leans
forward, the crowd gasp as Fear hits a massive impact spine buster into the
oncoming Apache that has him laid flat out on his back...Darla leaps in the air
with joy as Fear looks inspired.]
JP: Good Lord!
Sully: Did you see that?! The impact on that move was insane, I've never seen
anything like that....Fear almost broke the ring.
JP: An impact spine buster has Apache flat out onto his back.
Sully: This is cold and calculated from Fear, he knows he wants the MWF
Television Championship and nothing is going to stop him.
[Fear leans down and pulls Apache to his feet...the MWF Television Champion is
led across to the ropes. Fear places Apache's chest across the ropes and makes a
sign, Darla knows what the sign is and he cheers loudly...the fans don't like it
and begins to jeer. The crowd goes wild with anger as Fear grabs the neck of
Apache and executes the Primal Urges, slamming the neck of Apache into the
canvas. Charles Galliant counts as Fear hooks the leg ....1......2......3!
Thunder Bull has a slight smile on his face as Fear gets to his feet, Darla
climbs into the ring and leaps into his arms...Fear is roaring with delight, his
lady in his arms.]
JP: He's done...the Primal Urge was enough to finish off a below par Apache.
Sully: He was terrible but all credit to Fear for an outstanding performance.
Peter Santos: And your winner, through pin fall, and new Maximum Wrestling
Federation Television Champion, Fear!
[Thunder Bull slides into the ring and the crowd go wild, the leader of "Team
Elite" and Maximum Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Champion looks long
and hard at Fear. The crowd roar as Shiv comes walking down the entrance ramp as
well, Fear looks around him while Darla huddles in her man's arms.]
JP: I think "Team Elite" are going to send a clear message to Fear right now,
you mess with one of them then you mess with all of them.
Sully: Thunder Bull still has that strange smile on his face.
[Shiv reaches the ring, he climbs in and goes straight over to Apache. The
former MWF Television Champion is helped to his feet, the crowd applaud him but
he doesn't look too impressed...Shiv has a few words with him as Thunder Bull
steps closer to Fear. "The Perfector of Pain" slowly extends his hand to Fear
and the crowd explode as they understand, Fear smiles and shakes hands with
Thunder Bull! Thunder Bull keeps hold of Fear's hand and raises it to the crowd
who are now cheering for the new member of "Team Elite".]
JP: What!? Fear has just joined "Team Elite"?
Sully: It looks like it, Fear has just made the worst choice of his life by
jumping on a sinking ship.
JP: I can't believe it, I really can't..."Team Elite" lose the MWF Television
Championship and then, they go and win it again.
Sully: "Team Elite" keep two titles for the time being, but you can bet "The
Master Plan" will be after them soon enough.
[Fear walks over to Apache and the two men shakes hands, a sign of
sportsmanship...Shiv and Fear shake hands and the crowd respond with massive
cheers to the new member of "Team Elite". Thunder Bull is thrown a mic and the
leader of "Team Elite" address' the crowd.]
Thunder Bull: Tonight you have just seen this idea grow further than you could
ever imagine. The MWF Television Championship is staying within our grasp and
nothing will ever change that. We have recruited one of the MWF's best talents
to our roster and sent a clear warning, a warning you should pay attention to.
"Team Elite" is growing and it's work in the MWF shall never be done until we
have the every single title under our control!
[The crowd roar in response to this...Thunder Bull continues in hushed tones.]
Thunder Bull: I am the referee for the next match and the winner will eventually
face me for the chance at the MWF World Heavyweight Championship, that is my
title...that is the belt that keeps "Team Elite" above everything else. Above
"The Empire" and above "The Master Plan". They will never beat us, they will
never destroy us, and they will never, ever, better us!
[Thunder Bull throws the mic down and signals for the stable to leave the ring,
Fear helps Apache out of the ring and the four men walk up the ramp to the
cheers of the fans.]
JP: That was a turn up for the books, "Team Elite" just showing exactly why they
are so dominant in the MWF.
Sully: They are not that dominant, why does everyone think they are the best
thing since sliced bread?
JP: Because they have Thunder Bull and he is the Maximum Wrestling Federation
World Heavyweight Champion and you really can't get much better than that.
Sully: The MWF Television Champion stays with "Team Elite", we're going to take
a break and we'll be back with the main event which I can guarantee you will not
want to miss.
