MWF Xtreme Champion: "Jay-Z" The Jeopardizer w/General
Manager Fozzy
versus
"Crown Prince of Hardcore" NomaD w/Kidd Kidman
MWF Xtreme Championship Match
Referee: Chris Forrest
[After both men have made their entrances, they remain in their
corners, their managers seeming to give them the orders in the
corners as the match has not begun, the bell failing to ring as of
yet. The two fighters eventually move towards the middle of the ring,
Jeopardizer unstrapping his title belt and handing it to the referee
as the fans start to build up with their individual chants. The bell
rings and the two men start to edge around each other in the ring,
arms poised, ready to strike into a grapple. It takes a little while
for either man to make a lunge but neither do as they pace around
each other]
Sully: Look at them! They look as if they've
been caged!
JP: Well, this match is not going to be a
walk in the park for either of them, Sully. They're both pretty much
as good as each other.
Sully: That my be, but who's the one with
the title belt, JP? Jeopardizer.
JP: That's true, but it may not last. Don't
forget that this match is for that title belt! It is for the Xtreme
title and either man could win it and come away with it!
Sully: Who's your money on, JP?
JP: You know I don't gamble on matches that
I call!
Sully: But who do you think will win?
JP: Well, Jeopardizer has held the title for
quite a time and he's certainly worthy of holding the championship,
but they don't call Nomad 'the Crown Prince of Hardcore' for
nothing.
Sully: But this isn't a Hardcore match, JP.
It's an Xtreme match!
[The Jeopardizer hooks his arm around the challenger's head and
tightens the hold, Kidd Kidman slamming his palms down onto the mat
to try to rouse Nomad back into the match. Nomad stirs a bit and
eventually forces his way out, landing a few elbows to the gut of the
champion before whipping him completely around for a neck breaker,
the fans sounding quite stunned at the impact the champion made with
the ring mat. The two stand up and Jeopardizer runs forwards,
straight into an arm drag that sends him rolling across the other
side of the ring and into the ropes.]
Sully: The Champion is being pulled around a
bit!
[Jeopardizer surges forwards again and is knocked down onto the
back of his head by Nomad. Nomad dives over for the cover, neglecting
to hook the leg. The referee slides in. OneT- Jeopardizer forces out
and stands, holding his head a bit. He gets the first strike in,
landing a punch to his opponent's stomach before leaning back into
the ropes, running forwards and kicking Nomad's face hard. Nomad
turns, hands reached up to his face and he turns, falling over the
ropes. Jeopardizer still doesn't look happy that he conceding those
early hits and steps forwards, pushing Nomad hard onto the ropes.
Nomad screams out and the referee eventually breaks the hold that the
champion had on his opponent.]
JP: The Jeopardizer is going all out on his
opponent, here!
Sully: Look at him! He's completely losing
his cool, JP!
JP: The man from Brooklyn, New York caught
him by surprise!
[Nomad stands, holding his neck and Jeopardizer moves forwards,
grabbing his arm and whipping him for the ropes, Nomad reverses,
however, and whips the champion into the ropes instead. Jeopardizer
comes off the ropes and runs straight into a raised knee from the
challenger. He goes right over and lands on his back with a thud.
Nomad takes this as a cue, leans back into the ropes, runs forwards
and drops down onto the Champion's head for a leg drop. Jeopardizer
twitches and Nomad stays where he is for the cover.
OneTwo..Jeopardizer kicks out much to the relief of a better part of
the audience.]
Sully: He almost had a victory there!
[Nomad stands up first but, once again is not the first one to
land the hit, Jeopardizer landing the first hit as the fans chant his
name and build up his morale. He lands a few elbows to the head of
the challenger before leaning back into the ropes, and landing a
jumping neck breaker. Both men struggle to their feet, looking quite
dazed and weary. Jeopardizer would be willed to his feet by most of
the audience as both men struggle to their feet. As they both find
their feet, they'd begin to exchange blows, standing uneasily and
whipping forwards with punches.]
Sully: Look at them! That neck breaker
seemed to take a lot out of both of these men!
[Nomad gets the upper hand, lashing a hand out to Jeopardizer and
knocks him into the ropes, before measuring him up and delivering a
huge blow to knock him out to the outside of the ring. Jeopardizer
rolls out of the ring, bouncing off the apron and connecting with the
barrier that the fans stand behind, loosening it a bit. Nomad would
climb over the second rope and would set himself onto the outside,
moving towards the champion. He'd grab him by the head, dragging him
to his feet before running him for the corner. Jeopardizer hits the
hard barrier and moves onto his front, holding his back]
JP: What a vicious impact! He moved that
barrier with his body! What an impact!
Sully: Nomad could be taking it here!
[Nomad would reach down for him again and would whip him for the
outside of the turnbuckle. Jeopardizer would turn it, swinging his
opponent into the outside of the corner, instead. He hits it hard and
Jeopadizer would hit the floor as well as Nomad, the fans chanting
the Champion's name. Jeopardizer would stand up slowly, Nomad would
be opened up badly. The Jeopardizer would move over to Nomad, grab
him by the hair and roll him into the ring, following after him and
going for the cover. OneTwoNomad gets a foot onto the bottom rope
and a few of the fans sound relieved, but most of them sound
exasperated at the kick out.]
Sully: So close, but yet so far!
JP: He almost had it! He almost retained his
title!
[Jeopardizer kneels up, hands on his thighs as he sits there,
shaking his head in disbelief as he stays there, Nomad stirring,
hands moving towards his head, shaking with the shock of it all.]
JP: How did he do it? How did he muster the
energy to do it?
Sully: No way! I can't believe it!
[The Jeopardizer would stand up, holding his head, swaying a
little bit with his step and would move towards Nomad, gripping his
head. He'd nail him in the gut with a boot before hoisting him up
and delivering a devastating 'Double Jeopardy'! He holds him down for
a pin, the fans crying out his name in support.. OneTwoThe referee
is pulled out of the ring by someone from the outsideThe fans boo
and jeer as they see Anarkist arguing with the referee before he
knocks him down with a blow to the head. Jeopardizer would stand up
straight and would look down to the downed referee who is outside of
the ring.. Jeopardizer would stand up, holding his head, turning
around just in time to be smacked in the head with a chair, hard. He
hits the canvas and the fans boo and Anarkist begins to go to work on
his fallen form with the chair.]
JP: What the-?!
Sully: Hahah!
[The chair is slammed against him repeatedly as the referee stirs.
Anarkist would move over to the still barely-conscious Nomad and
drags him on top of the bleeding and unconscious Jeopardizer. The
chair is tossed to the side and Anarkist drops to the canvas before
rolling out of the ring, underneath the bottom rope, picking up the
referee and sliding him back into the ring, the fans booing loudly]
JP: This is just wrong! He's going to cost
Jeopardizer the championship!
[The referee makes a weary count. OneTwoThree! The bell rings
and the fans roar out in dispute for what had just happened as
Jeopardizer lays out flat, Nomad lifted by the referee, bleeding and
dazed.]
Peter Santos: And your winner through pinfall and new Maximum
Wrestling Federation Xtreme Champion, NomaD!
JP: That was just plain wrong!
Sully: I'm starting to really like X-Treme
matches!
[The camera cuts backstage just as JP is speaking...we are in the
office of the MWF President, he sits slumped over the desk, the TV is
infront of him with no sound coming out. It has been muted but it
shows the chaos in the ring. The eyes of Edward Walker follow the
action, we then realise it is not a live picture...it is a recording
as the MWF President presses the pause button.]
Walker: There you are....
[The slow sounds of "No Surprises" by Radiohead filters out
through a stereo system somewhere in the room...Ed leans back on his
chair.]
"a heart that's full up like a lanfill"...the MWF's General
Manager is shown kissing the daughter of the MWF President...
Walker: Sad isn't it that a man who used to
be so useful is brought down by one woman.
"a job that slowly kills you...who says that won't be".. Fozzy
laying in a pool of his own blood...
Walker: It's sad to think Fozzy that this
business will be the death of us, nothing we do can ever help us
survive.
"you look so tired unhappy"...Fozzy is standing in the ring,
his face saddened as he stares at the fans after last weeks
speech...
Walker: I'm letting you go Fozz because I
want what is best for you and my daughter, there is nothing that can
ever get in the way of my grandchild. Goodbye Fozzy....next
week...goodbye.
[Walker stares blankly into the camera as the music gets louder
and the picture fades out and the Dynamite credits roll.]
