[The camera cuts from JP and Sully to the office of the MWF
General Manager Dom Stoate...Stoate is sitting on his comfy chair,
sharpening a pencil and watching a monitor. The crowd can be heard
jeering as Stoate watches himself making the Insane Wayne/Kid
Insanity match announcement.]
JP: Do we really have to see this son of a
bitch again? Hasn't he caused enough trouble for one night.
Sully: He's the master of many a great plan
and I can't wait to hear what he's got to say this time.
JP: Some drivel no doubt...
[Stoate drops the pencil and sharpener as the door to his office
is flung open and the crowd can be heard cheering as the MWF
President Edward Walker comes striding into the office. He walks
right up to the desk of Dom Stoate and breathing heavily he leans
both hands on the desk. Stoate looks up slowly, into the maddened
eyes of the MWF President.]
Stoate: Good evening...
Walker: Good evening! Are you mad? Tell me
Stoate...do you actually think you can book these matches not affect
my personal well being.
Stoate: You got a problem I take it?
[Stoate leans back on his chair, grinning as Walker slams his fist
on the desk.]
Walker: I pay you to run things around here,
to try and make sure everything runs smoothly and I do not call
booking Insane Wayne against Kid Insanity running things
smoothly.
Stoate: It'll be a pretty entertaining
match.
Walker: WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? We've got
Insane Wayne going into a match tonight, against the MCW...and if we
lose this match our credibility sinks.
Stoate: Why are you so pent up?
Walker: Because it's my neck on the line,
NOT YOURS!
Stoate: Stop shouting Ed.
[Walker breathes heavily, Stoate leans forward.]
Walker: This is a first warning, I want you
to keep out of the affairs of "Twisted Vision" from now on...we've
seen your pathetic attempts at running a stable and to say the least,
it was a complete waste. I've seen your treatment of the roster
recently and I have to say it's not up to my standards.
Stoate: Your standards?
Walker: The highest standards. Consider
yourself warned Stoate!
[Walker turns sharply and walks off, Stoate retrieves the pencil
and sharpener from the floor. He begins to sharpen the pencil
again...Walker closes the door on his way out and Stoate calls after
him just as the door shuts.]
Stoate: Asshole! Thinking he can tell me
what to do, just because I book his precious Insane Wayne in a match
he thinks he can come in here and mouth off at me...I'll show
him.
[Stoate is about to get up when the door is flung open, Kid
Insanity comes rushing in, breathless.]
Kid Insanity: Dom!
Stoate: Not again! What can I do for you
Kid?
Kid Insanity: Where did Walker go?
Stoate: He went right out of here, right
after verbally abusing me...
Kid Insanity:...Thanks Dom.
[Kid Insanity runs off out of the office again, leaving Stoate
purplexed.]
Stoate: Not even a thank you, I can't wait
until Christmas...
[The lead breaks in the pencil that Stoate is sharpening and he
sighs before tossing the pencil into the bin as the scene cuts back
to the arena.]
JP: Kid Insanity really is desperate to find
a rather angry MWF President...the man is livid at Stoate.
Sully: We haven't seen Ed that angry in a
while, he must really think that Insane Wayne will lose to Kid
Insanity.
JP: Of course he doesn't, he's just
concerned with the timing of Stoate's announcement, you don't tell
Insane Wayne he has a match next week against an insane lunatic just
before he's going into an important MCPW match.
Sully: Everyone is making such a big deal
out of this MCPW thing, it's not that important...it's just another
match on the card in my view.
JP: It's important because there is a lot of
pride on the line, both companies claim to be taking professional
wrestling to the maximum and if one of them beats the other that says
a lot.
Sully: I'm sure it does...
JP:...Insane Wayne and Troy Knight need to
focus tonight and get the teamwork going to try and make the
"Connection" work hard for the win.
Sully: It'll be interesting to see if Kid
Insanity is out there for this match, he could play a vital
role...
JP: I hope not!
