MWF Television Champion: "Troy Boy" Troy Knight
versus
"The Deadly One" Doomsday
Non-Title Match
Referee: Grant August
Peter Santos: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contes is
scheduled for one fall, and it is a non-title affair! On his way to
the ring first, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 220 pounds,
the MWF Television Champion, "Troy Boy" TROY KNIGHT!!!!
["Larger Than Life" by the Backstreet Boys hits the speakers, and
Knight simply appears on stage and walks down the ramp, not showing
any of his normal flamboyance.]
Sully: Wow... Troy does not look the same
without the Bobster at his side.
JP: Ah, good riddance. He was an annoying
little runt. I'm glad Ace Spade is taking care of him.
Sully: Taking care of him? He kidnaped him,
JP!
JP: I don't think Troy should be worried
about his kid. If Doomsday wins this match, he's in serious
contention for the MWF TV Title.
Sully: We've both seen Troy perform, I have
faith he'll win this match.
JP: Doomsday has improved tremendously since
joining Twisted Vizion. I'm going with him.
Sully: Are you serious? If Doomsday wins,
it'll be because Twisted Vizion interferes.
JP: Doubtful. Caliko is probably off
enjoying his Xtreme title...
Sully: That Doomsday helped him win!
JP: And Wayne and Iniquity have to be
preparing for their huge Tag Title defense later on.
Sully: Speaking of Doomsday...
Peter Santos: And his opponent, from New York, New York,
weighing in at 310 pounds, "The Deadly One" DOOMSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
["You Know You're Right" by Nirvana hits the speakers. Doomsday
appears on stage in his crimson trenchcoat. He walks down the ramp,
eyes focused on Troy, completely ignoring the jeers of the fans. He
enters into the ring, and starts removing his trenchcoat. All of a
sudden, he throws the trenchcoat in Troy's face, and starts pounding
on him while he's helpless. The bell quickly rings to start the
match!]
Sully: What a dirty trick by Doomsday! He
threw the coat right into Troy's face.
JP: The man is simply using what's available
to him. Don't blame Doomsday if Troy wasn't expecting it.
[Doomsday brings Troy, still wrapped in the coat, down to the
ground with a series of fierce rights. He starts stomping Troy to
hell, but Troy is able to dodge one of the big boots and roll outside
to safety. Troy removes the coat, as Doomsday laughs and poses for
the crowd. The crowd jeers as Doomsday taunts Troy. Troy gets onto
the apron, as Grant August holds Doomsday back, telling him he wants
a fair start. Troy gets back into the ring, and he and Doomsday lock
up. Doomsday forces Troy to the corner, and begins hitting him with
hard chops across the chest! ONE... TWO.. THREE... FO - Troy ducks
under the fourth chop, and begins rocking Doomsday with hard right
punches! He nails three punches on Doomsday, the hits quick dropkick,
slamming Doomsday's back against the turnbuckle! Doomsday stumbles
forward, but won't fall to the ground. Troy comes off the ropes with
a clothesline, and Troy stumbles to a knee, but is somehow still
standing! Troy comes off the ropes again, and this time, he sends
Doomsday crashing to the mat with a flying spinning kick! Doomsday's
back up, but Troy answers with another spinning kick! Finally, Troy
hits a big dropkick, sending the woozy Doomsday over the top rope!
The crowd goes nuts and Troy throws his hands into the air!]
Sully: And Troy has cut the big man
down!
JP: If he wants to win, he'd better keep him
down.
Sully: Admit it JP, you admire Troy Knight.
He shows more heart than any other superstar in the MWF.
JP: He'd better have more than heart if he
plans on beating Doomsday. He wants Troy's TV Title - and I believe
he's one pinfall away from a shot at it.
Sully: I don't like the idea of Troy having
Ace Spade and Doomsday breathing down his neck.
[Doomsday gets to his feet and rests on the apron, and Troy tries
for a baseball slide. However, Doomsday was playing possum, and Troy
slides right out of the ring. Doomsday clocks Troy with a big right
fist to bring him down to the ground! The crowd boos as Doomsday
picks Troy up and whips him into the barricade. Troy hits the steel
hard, and falls to the ground, favoring his back. Doomsday picks Troy
up, in a bear hug position, and runs forward, slamming him into the
steel post.]
JP: Doomsday is taking apart Troy, piece by
piece.
Sully: His back has got to be hurting now...
I hope Troy can get himself out of this situation, and fast.
[Doomsday picks Troy up, trying for a powerbomb. However, Troy
uses the momentum of being lifted into the air to vault himself over
Doomsday up onto the apron! Doomsday turns around, and is met with a
kick to the face. Troy shouts to the crowd, and launches himself
backwards, spinning into a flying cross body! However... Doomsday
catches Troy, and once more slams his back into the steel post!]
Sully: Oh my! Doomsday has targeted the back
of Troy Knight... and unfortunately, it seems to be working.
JP: Of course it is. A man can't wrestle if
he can't stand.
[Doomsday slides back into the ring, and yells at the ref, already
at six, to keep counting The ref counts... SEVEN... EIGHT...
NINE....but no! Troy manages to slide back into the ring before a
count of ten!]
Sully: Damn that Doomsday! He was trying to
get away with a countout victory.
JP: The key word is victory, Sully. This is
non-title, I doubt Doomsday cares HOW he wins.
[Doomsday measures Troy for a big boot, as Referee August checks
on Troy. Finally Doomsday charges, but Troy manages to dodge the
boot. Unfortunately, this causes Doomsday's boot to nail August in
the face!]
Sully: Oh man! Doomsday just decimated
August!
JP: It was obviously an accident. There's
always danger to being a referee.
Sully: I don't think Doomsday gives a damn
who he hit. I think he's glad he hurt somebody.
JP: Just because Doomsday is smarter than
you think and Troy is a coward who runs away from his opponent
doesn't mean you have to get upset.
Sully: I would never, out of all people,
call Troy Knight a coward. And as for Doomsday's intelligence, he's
just a brute with power.
[Doomsday turns around right into a HEAVEN SENT spinning kick from
Troy!]
Sully: That's it! Troy just leveled Doomsday
with that vicious spinning kick to the jaw!
[The fans cheer as Troy calls for the Rump Thump! However, they
boo as Ace Spade runs down the ramp, with a steel chair in hand! Troy
goes to bounce off the ropes, but Ace slams his in his already sore
back with the steel chair! Troy stumbles forward, right into the
Lock-N-Load chokeslam from Doomsday! Doomsday covers Troy, and
Referee August makes a very slow count. ONE.......... TWO...........
THR-NO! Troy kicks out! Doomsday can't believe it! August gets back
to his feet, but Spade is quick to distract him! With the referee's
back turned, Doomsday grabs the steel chair, and place sit in the
center of the ring. He grabs Troy, and brings his head down into the
steel chair with the SHOTGUN BLAST!!!!!]
JP: I don't think Troy is making a miracle
comeback tonight!
Sully: This is terrible! Doomsday is gonna
steal a win here, and it's all thanks to Ace Spade and that damn
steel chair!
[Doomsday quickly removes the steel chair from the ring, and
covers Troy. Ace points August's attention to the pin, and drops form
the apron. August drops to the mat and counts.. .ONE... TWO...
THREE!!!!!!!!]
Peter Santos: Here is your winner, through pinfall,
DOOMSDAY!!!!!!!!
Sully: My god! This is not right! Two chair
shots, two finishers, and the help of Ace Spade put Troy Knight
away!
JP; You were worried about Twisted Vizion,
but it's easy to see the man to fear was Ace Spade! Thanks to him,
Doomsday moves into contendership to the MWF Television Title!
Sully: This is an atrocity. Knight was
coming back, about to win this match out of nowhere...
JP: Yes, yes. I'm sure they'll be hell to
pay from Knight... WHEN he regains consciousness!
["You Know You're Right" hits the speakers. Doomsday celebrates in
the ring, as Ace Spade walks back up the ramp, laughing at Troy
Knight.]
Sully: An explosive start to Dynamite... as
disgusting at that was.
JP; And we still have three more matches:
The MWF Tag Titles are on the line in our main event!
