MWF Tag Team Champion: "The Heartbreaker" Scotty Heart
w/Jay T
versus
"Troy Boy" Troy Knight w/Bobby Knight
Singles Match
Referee: Grant August
Writer: Dom Stoate
JP: Troy Knight versus Scotty Heart is next!
And this should be a hell of a match here tonight!
Sully: Scotty Heart has the edge, though!
JP: Well, as usual, Scotty Heart is down at
ringside with his close friend and partner, Jay T.
Sully: What do you mean by that?
JP: Well, he DOES have Jay T with him.
Sully: It's a great tactic to have someone
with ability at ringside with him. It's better than having a small
child that causes more harm than good.
JP: I really do believe that Bobby Knight's
presence at ring is more of a charm thing. I think that all of Troy's
love goes into the kid, and to have Bobby at ring side is his charm.
All sorts of wrestlers have their luck charms.
Sully: It's a weakness if you ask me.
[Troy is actually leaning over the ropes and speaking to his young
friend Bobby as the camera looks at him. He turns back to Heart who
has just made his entrance, Tag Title belt in hand. Jay T remains
outside of the ring, reaching up and taking the tag title as Heart
offers it to him.]
Sully: I just think that having one half of
the Tag Champions at ringside for you, is going to get you farther
than having one half of the 1st grade running team there for you.
[Heart forces a smile of confidence onto his face as the bell
rings and the two begin to move about the ring quickly, trying to get
a one-up on their opponent. It would seem, as he lunges, that it is
Heart that is going to get that edge in the opening stages, lunging,
arms swinging for his opponent. Troy would duck under the arms, turn
around whilst casually swiping a hand forwards and swatting at his
opponent's rear. Heart staggers forwards, hands instinctively moving
to cover the area as he turns, and glares at Troy, hand raised and
finger outstretched threateningly. The fans cheer and applaud Troy.]
JP: And that is what Scotty Heart is going
to have to watch out for.
Sully: Troy's homosexuality?
JP: Not just that, but also his speed, and
his tenacity, and his boldness in the ring. He doesn't seem to care
what anybody thinks, and this is a useful attribute to have in the
ring.
[Troy smiles with genuine enthusiasm.]
JP: And Troy has this way. He manages to put
all of his troubles behind him in order to wrestle well. He forgets
everything but his main goal. And that is to win, but also to have
fun!
Sully: So? Heart does that too!
JP: I doubt to the extent that Troy Knight
does.
[Troy leans over in a position implying her was ready to grapple,
but Heart does not look so certain. After a little bit of verbal
prodding from his partner on the outside of the ring, he'd move
hesitantly forwards. It is this hesitancy that causes him to stumble
rather than lunge when, again, he goes for a move, this time a
clothesline, and Troy is able to duck under it with ease. He turns
around before, in a flamboyant manner, thrusting his behind against
the crotch area of Heart. Heart staggers backwards, landing on a
sitting position against the turnbuckle. Troy raises his arms,
swinging his hips a little bit as the fans chant his name.]
Sully: The fans have gone insane!
JP: They are certainly very passionate in
their backing for Troy Knight!
Sully: What sort of role model is Troy for
his so-called son? He is prancing about in pink trunks in front of
young Bobby Knight, thrusting himself against his opponent in a
manner not fit for the young boy's eyes!
JP: Well, you can perhaps call his parenting
into question, but certainly not his love. He loves the kid, just as
he loves his wrestling!
[Troy turns back to the fallen Heart, and ambles over to him, his
swanky walk suggesting bad news for Heart's manhood. However, Heart
manages to rolls to his side and tumble out of the ring, before
standing quickly up on the outside.]
JP: Heart! He's high-tailing it out of here!
Sully: No he's not! He's showing signs of a
true wrestler! Putting distance between himself and that dirty man,
Troy Knight.
[The referee leans over the ropes, eyeing Heart and barking orders
at him to get back into the ring, or run the definite risk of being
disqualified. Scotty Heart raises a hand and shakes his head,
refusing to get into the ring. That is, of course, until Jay T rushes
to him, lays a hand on his back and talks to him loudly. He says
something that sounds like 'get back into that ring, or you are going
to lose to a sissy!', and after a little more verbal prompting, Heart
moves back towards the ring. He pauses on the outside of the ring
before eventually sliding in. Troy is quick on a more
physically-damaging offensive this time, and goes to nail a kick to
Heart which he does land. Heart rolls onto his back after the
unexpected blow, and Troy lays over him, seeming to savour the moment
as the count is made. 12.-Heart powers out of the pin. Troy stands a
little quicker than Heart, who seems to have his ribs damaged after
the kick.]
JP: I don't think any of us was expecting a
kick with such anger behind it to spring from Knight right then.
Sully: He got lucky, managing to catch Heart
the ONE time he was not ready for it.
[Heart staggers to his feet, stunned by the recent attack. He
staggers right into a quick, and well-executed scoop slam, which is
followed up by a high jump on the spot from Troy, which is turned
into a leg drop. The fans make a sound that sounds very similar to
'woot!', and Troy stands up, moving over to the corner of the ring.]
JP: Not already! Troy seems to, already, be
going for the Rump Thump off the top rope!
[He mounts the top of the turnbuckle and pauses at the top for a
second or two, watching the unmoving Heart to make sure that he is
actually going to stay down long enough for the move to be executed.
It appears so, and Troy, after confirming the probability that he was
going to land the move, leaps off the top, going to land the Rump
Thump. He gets nothing but canvas as Heart picks himself up quickly.]
JP: He was playin' possum! Scotty Heart,
playing possum there in order to get the upper hand over his
opponent.
Sully: That is absolute genius, isn't it?
What a wrestler Heart is!
JP: It's the oldest trick in the book, but
he used it to great effect there! And now he has time. Now he has
time to recover from the shot to the ribs, and try to get the upper
hand.
Sully: It was obvious that Troy Knight was
simply trying to damage Heart. It was obvious that he was trying to
end his career with that one kick. He might have broken his ribs!
JP: He was trying to simply win the match.
You would have done the same if it would ensure your victory.
Sully: It has ensured nothing other than the
fact that Troy Knight is nothing but a dirty wrestler!
JP: In your opinion.
Sully: what do you mean 'in my opinion'?
Everyone I talk to about him says that they would hate to step into
the ring with him! And that isn't because he is a talented wrestler,
JP! That's because he is a dirty cheat!
JP: Well, whatever you say.
Sully: No, aren't you listening?! It's not
just what 'I' say! It's what everyone says! That's the point!
[Heart stands up before Troy does, holding onto his ribs before
darting forwards and drop-kicking forwards, slamming his feet into
the face of Troy who has sat up. Heart scrambles on his front for the
cover. 1.2.-Troy gets the shoulder up. Heart seems to be getting
into the swing of things now, as Troy stands, Heart would dart
forwards, not giving him a chance to get out of the way as he throws
a knee to the gut of Troy, who stumbles backwards before falling
straight onto his back. Heart goes for the cover again. 1-Troy gets
the shoulder up quicker this time and Heart stands up quickly, hardly
looking surprised at all at the outcome of the pin.]
JP: It sure as hell ain't gonna be that
easy!
[Heart is up quicker, but Troy does pull himself up. Heart whips
an arm out, chopping Troy across the chest hard, pausing, before
doing it again hard. Troy leans into the turnbuckle and Heart does
the same again, slapping him hard against the chest. His arm against
Troy's chest makes a sickening thud and Troy doubles up in the
corner. Troy stumbles forwards and Heart gives him space to stagger
into before grabbing him by the side, and jumping up, hitting a huge
side walk slam! Troy hits the mat hard and Heart stands up, out of
breath, but looking relatively okay.]
Sully: And now, after all of the dirty
wrestling out of the way, it has emerged who is the best wrestler.
And the answer is Scotty Heart, baby, yeah!
[Heart raises his arms proudly, smiling. Troy sits up uneasily and
Heart walks casually over to him before kicking hard against his
shoulder. Troy rolls onto his back, and Heart goes for the cover
quickly. 12..-Troy gets the shoulder up, much to the fans' delight
and relief. Heart looks much less than happy about the outcome of the
pin, standing up, he'd glare at the referee, fuming madly as he faces
the referee, backing him against the ropes as he stands his 6'2"
frame against the referee. There are some words exchanged by the
referee and Heart.]
Sully: That was definitely a three-count!
JP: Not according to our referee it wasn't.
[Eventually, Scotty Heart turns back to the still laid-out Troy
and grabs him by the hair, pulling him up sharply, standing up before
turning him around, hooking his head as if going for 'The Act of
God'! Troy manages, somehow, to reverse the move, however, turning
around with the move so that he keeps his balance, turning Heart to
face him before he jumps up, and with a second wind, landing a huge
Fame Asser! Both men hit the canvas hard, but Troy, after a second or
two of laying down, flips up onto his feet, much to the delight of
the fans. He raises his arms proudly, absorbing the praise from the
fans. He is not too wrapped up in himself to notice, Jay T, though,
who lunges forwards for him when his back is turned. Troy drops down
and lands a drop toe hold that drops Jay T straight on top of his
partner. T rolls onto his back, holding his face, still laying on top
of his partner for the most part. Troy Knight stands back up, eyes
wide, mouth pulled into a happy grin. He'd move over towards the ring
turnbuckle. He would pull himself up it quickly and this time, does
not hesitate. He leaps off the top, landing a huge double rump thump
to both Jay T and Scotty Heart! The fans go crazy and Troy kneels up
wearily, rolling Jay T out of the ring, before going for the
cover.12Scotty Heart gets the shoulder up!]
Sully: Yes! He kicked out of the 'Rump
Thump'!
[Jay T rolls out of the ring and Troy Boy, who looks only
partially fazed by the two-count, moves over away from Heart as he
struggles to stand. Knight eyes up Scotty Heart, as he would any
opponent, but there is a glint in his eye that suggests more was
going on in his head then thoughts of the best way to land a
clothesline. He darts forwards at the first opportunity, but Scotty
Heart scouts the move perfectly, and pulls himself to the side, out
of the way of the clothesline. He lets Troy bounce off the ropes,
ducks under the second oncoming clothesline before moving quickly to
land The Act of God neck breaker! Troy lays flat out on the canvas.
12Troy, somehow, manages to get the shoulder up!]
Sully: He had it! That was a three count,
ref'!
JP: Well, it seemed no different to the two
count that the referee gave Troy Boy, Troy Knight!
Sully: Why won't Troy stay down? How is he
still alive after that huge 'Act of God'?!
[On his knees, Heart slams his palms down onto the canvas in pure
frustration, teeth bared, spittle flying as he throws his head about,
distraught. Meanwhile, Troy manages to rouse himself into a laying
position on his side, unnoticed by Heart who screams into the face of
the referee. The fans and their noise at the sight of Troy picking
himself up should have been enough of a sign for Heart, but he is so
caught up in his own anger to notice Troy now standing, leaning
against the ropes, holding his head. Eventually, Heart turns back and
walks straight into a flying clothesline that knocks him back onto
his back. Troy drags himself back up to his feet one last time, eyes
scanning over the sea of praising fans. He slowly raises a hand,
thumb outstretched towards the fans before he staggers over towards
the turnbuckle.]
JP: This could be it! It could all be over
now with the gesture of the thumb from Knight!
[Troy moves up onto the turnbuckle and hauls himself up onto the
top rope, facing his fallen opponent. He gives a quick check towards
Jay T who is half way up the ramp now, holding his face. He even has
time to look towards his son Bobby Knight and wink before turning
back to Heart, pausing, before leaping off the turnbuckle and landing
the Rump Thump! Heart sells it perfectly, legs kicking up into the
air as all of the weight from the move lands on his head, and Troy
rolls backwards before reaching his arms forwards, draping over his
opponent for the cover.123!]
Peter Santos: And your winner, through pinfall, Troy
Knight!
JP: He's won! He's done it! Troy Knight
secures another win, this time over the Tag Champion, Scotty Heart!
