The MwF Television Champion - Sean Harley
Fatal Four Way Elimination Match - Non Title
Writer: Steve AVEEN!
JP: What
a night this has been. Now, after a terrible eventful night, comes the main
event to headline them all.
Sully:
Right, and this match has some of the MWF's future in it, this is definetley
going to be a blockbuster.
JP: We
could only be talking about the fatal four way elimination match, with almost
every man involved gunning for the Television title while the champion is in the
match itself!
Sully: I
have to believe that if someone other than Sean Harley, the Television champion,
would deserve a title shot.
JP:
Could be, but this is not for the number one contendership or the title itself,
this is just a brawl.
Sully:
An elimination style brawl, you can't forget that.
JP: It's
time to start the main event!
Peter
Santos: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is the main event fatal four
way elimination style match! Here are the rules: each of the four men will
battle until three out of four are eliminated by pinfall, submission,
disqualification, or count out.
[The
crowd sits on the edge of their seats as they wait for the match to begin.]
Peter
Santos: Introducing first, standing six foot six, weighing in at two hundred
fifty pounds, Odin!
["Into
the Void" by Nine Inch Nails blasts through the public address system as the
massive looking Odin walks through the curtain and down the ramp, accompanied by
massive boos from the crowd. As he enters the ring, he shoots a blank stare to
everyone who dares to boo him.]
Peter
Santos: Making his way to the ring, from New York, New York, weighing in at
three hundred ten pounds, he is "The Deadly One", Doomsday!
["You
Know You're Right" by Nirvana hits the P.A. as everyone stands to their feet to
cheer for the popular Doomsday. The wrestler himself walks down the ramp
slapping hands with fans, but still keeping his eye on Odin.]
Peter
Santos: And, from Staffordshire, England, weighing in at two hundred ninety-nine
pounds, "Apache" Ryan Slade!
[Ryan
Slade enters as Andrew W.K.'s "Tear It Up" is heard throughout the building,
along with his manager The Vibe. Fans look in confusion, barely able to tell who
is "Apache" and who is The Vibe, but still cheer madly anyway.]
Peter
Santos: Finally, from Chelmsford, England, weighing in at two hundred twenty
pounds, he is the MWF Television Champion, Sean Harley!
["Welcome" by Slipknot nails the speakers as the Television champion comes our
through the curtains accompained by boos from the crowd. Seemingly feeding off
of their energy, he walks confidently as he and the other three men stand inside
the ring, and as Harley drops his belt to the outside. Before he actually gets
into the ring, however, he rubs his hand around the top rope of each side, then
enters.]
JP: This
will be brutal, who do you have your money on?
Sully:
Isn't it obvious? I'm going with talent, I'm going with experience, I'm going
with Sean Harley.
JP: I
say Doomsday, but who knows, it could be anyone.
Sully:
By the way, what was up with the way Harley entered the ring? It looked like he
gave the ropes a full body massage!
JP: I
guess that's how champions act.
[The
bell rings, and four men stare at eachother, as Odin and Sean Harley stand
across from eachother, and as Doomsday and Slade stand mirrored. All four men
keep their guard up, not attacking.]
JP: None
of them can decide who to fight first!
[After
almost a minute of this, Odin raises his hand as if to do a strength test, but
with four men. The other three look confused, but put their respective hands up
as all men come together and lock hands. No one decides to test their strength,
but instead Odin kicks Doomsday in the gut, as does Harley to Slade. Odin hits
Doomsday with clubs to the back of the head as Doomsday goes down to the mat,
and Odin puts his foot on the back of his neck and grabs the rope to put
pressure. On the other side of the ring, Sean Harley knees Slade in the face
from his bent over position, causing Ryan to fall back into the corner holding
his nose.]
Sully:
Well, at least we got this damn thing started!
[Sean
connects with punches on Slade, as Doomsday grabs the leg of Odin that was
applying pressure to the back of Doomsday's neck, and trips him making Odin fall
to the mat. Doomsday gets to his feet, holding his neck and kicks Odin in the
midsection. Odin flinches in pain as he lays on the mat, and while Doomsday
grabs the head of Odin and puts it into his underarm, hooking up and delivering
a massive suplex afterwards.]
JP: Odin
just fell six feet ten inches to the ground, and with force!
[In the
corner still, Sean stops the punches and uses a blaintly illegal forearm choke
on Slade, actually picking Ryan off the ground before the ref could break the
hold. Harley yells at the referee, which gives "Apache" time to recover and hit
Harley with some punches of his own. Harley is pushed backwards by the force of
the punches, causing him to trip over Odin who was laying on the ground after a
suplex. Harley lands on his back, and Doomsday takes the chance to pin him, but
Ryan Slade jumps over and kicks Doomsday in the head before a two count could
even be hit. Doomsday gets off Harley and stares down "Apache", yelling at him
for breaking the pin. While doing this, Sean gets away with a low blow on
Doomsday while the referee was checking on Odin. Doomsday falls to the mat, as
Odin stands up and greets Ryan Slade with a spear and many punches. He gets off
Slade and grabs his arm, locking in an armbar while the referee checks to see if
Ryan would submit.]
JP: See,
there are no friends in this match, everyone wants this win.
Sully:
If I were in there, I would make a pact to eliminate the other two with a
wrestler, then once we got rid of two of them I'd turn on my "partner" and take
the win!
JP:
Always cheating...I see things never change with you!
[Sean
Harley bounces off the ropes and lands a leg drop on Doomsday, then hitting him
with various punches. He goes in as to bite him with the ref not looking, but
Doomsday takes advantage of the situation and rakes Sean's eye. Harley falls
back in pain to the other side of the ring, and groggily stands up, looking back
at Doomsday and getting nailed with a massive big boot to the face. Harley hits
the ground seemingly not knowing where he is, while Doomsday plants big kicks on
the Television champion.]
JP: Did
you see that boot!?! Better yet, did you hear that boot?!?!?!?
Sully:
You could have heard that boot twenty countries away...
[Still
holding the arm bar, Odin shows a rage inside as Slade lays in agony. After a
while, Ryan gets his strength together and punches Odin with his free arm,
making Odin break the hold. Slade rolls over holding his right arm, as Odin
falls backwards before getting right back on the attack. Odin goes back to slade
with a foot rake to the face, keeping Ryan temporarily dizzy. He takes the head
of "Apache", and locks in a suplex like the one he was hit with before. After
landing the suplex, though, he picks Slade back up twice and does two more
suplexes.]
Sully:
That's why Odin is a beast, because of strength!!!
JP:
That, and aggressiveness.
Sully:
And Strength!!!
[Sully
flexes his muscle at ringside as Doomsday keeps the attack up on Harley by
bouncing off the ropes and slamming an elbow onto the chest of the Television
champion. He goes for a pin, but only gets a two count. In the process though,
Odin went to break up the pin, but landed on Harley as Doomsday got off. Odin
bounced off Harley, got to his feet and was nailed by a Doomsday clothesline.]
JP:
Doomsday's on fire! He could eliminate someone here!
Sully:
Or his momentum could be used against him and could get eliminated himself. See,
I can be smart too!
["Apache" gets to his feet and catches Sean Harley as he tried to stand, then
blasting him with punches. He punched Harley into the corner, where one punch
was blocked and Sean started furiously punching Ryan Slade, with massive amounts
of punches.]
Sully:
THAT is why I chose Harley to win!
JP: He
sure is venting some anger!
[Harley's punches eventually hit hard enough to knock Slade over the top rope,
getting his head caught in between the first and second rope. Seeing this,
Harley calms down a bit as the referee tries to free the choking Slade. Sean,
taking advantage of the situation, hits one dropkick after another onto the head
of Slade, totaling five dropkicks, before "Apache" could get loose and fall to
the ringside floor. Seeing that Slade was knocked outside the ring, Harley
decided to take a rest, kicking his feet up on the ropes and his shoulder on the
other as Odin and Doomsday battled.]
JP: He's
taking a break!
Sully:
He can do that, he's the Television champ, he can do whatever he wants.
[While
Slade recovers outside, and Sean Harley lays on the ropes, Odin and Doomsday
both get to their feet and trade punches, before Odin blocks a Doomsday right
hand and hooked the blocked hand into a hammerlock, then into an un orthodox
small package. The ref went to count the pin, while Harley, who was previously
relaxing and enjoying the rest, quickly tried to get to his feet to break the
count, but in trying to get off the ropes so fast he fell off the ropes and into
the ring as the crowd laughed, and Odin's pin only got a two count.]
JP: Haha,
did you see that? Harley feel right off the ropes! That'll teach him to play the
right way next time!
Sully:
It's a damn shame, our Television champion should not be getting booed by these
people!
[Slade
made his way back into the ring, as the infuriated Sean Harley yelled at the
crowd. Slade gets to his feet and had a determined look on his face, waiting for
Sean to turn to Slade and away from the crowd. Harley yelled and screamed at the
fans, while the fans laughed and looked at Slade while Harley had no idea what
was behind him. Harley gets confused, and slowly makes his way to looking behind
himself, seeing an angered "Apache" ready to pounce. Sean looked in disbelief as
there was a small pause, before Ryan kicked Harley in the stomach, hooked his
legs, but was flipped over the top rope by Sean onto the floor.]
JP:
Slade almost hit the Twisted Truth!
Sully:
Almost, but not quite. This further re assures me that Sean Harley will win this
match.
[In the
ring still, Odin and Doomsday got up after the two count and Doomsday was met
with some kicks to the stomach, as Odin then bounced against the ropes and
attempted to knee the bowed Doomsday, but "The Deadly One" managed to grab
Odin's leg as he tried to knee him, grab his other leg also, and turn it into a
powerbomb. He went for the pin, but again only got a two count. Doomsday got to
his feet, and went to the top rope - something unusual for a man of his size. As
Doomsday waited, Ryan Slade got up from the ring floor, onto the outside of the
ring and pushed Doomsday off the turnbuckle to the middle of the ring!]
Sully:
Where'd Slade come from?!?
JP: You
must keep an eye on all competitors at all times.
[Sean
Harley, seeing the chance, jumps onto Doomsday, locking in a laying headlock.
Seeing this, Slade went to the top rope and hit a leg drop across the head and
neck of Harley, knocking him off of Doomsday. Ryan picks up Sean, and whips him
into the turnbuckle as Odin goes to the top rope, about to hit Doomsday with a
massive move. But, Harley bounces off the turnbuckles, making Odin wiggle a bit,
but Odin keeps his balance and instead hits the Fright-Lite on Harley, knocking
the Television champion to the canvas. Slade takes the opportunity and jumps on
Harley, pinning him for the three count, eliminating the Television champion.
Peter
Santos: Sean Harley is eliminated!
Sully:
Well, there goes my pick...
[Frustrated, Harley rolls outside the ring, yelling at everyone that will hear
him. He gets so angry, that he runs back into the ring, knocks the referee out,
and gives all three competitors the Molten Wings.]
JP: He's
cheating again! Damn him!
Sully:
The man has just been beaten, that means that any one of them can claim to have
defeated him. He's angry, and rightfully so.
[Leaving
everyone, including the referee stunned, Harley grabs his Television title and
makes his way back to the locker room. Inside the ring, Odin and "Apache" begin
to stir, as Doomsday lays in pain. Ryan goes to his manager, The Vibe, whispers
something in his ear, and sends The Vibe in acting like he's been injured.]
JP: Great, now even the babyfaces are cheating. What is this world coming to?
[Slade goes to the outside of the ring and stands where The Vibe would be,
trying to catch his breath to make it more believable. With the referee still
down, he never sees the switch, and evidently neither do Odin or Doomsday. The
Vibe quickly makes punches on Odin, hitting the worn down man as The Vibe is
full of energy. Odin falls to the ground as The Vibe picks him up, kicks him in
the midsection, but is reversed as Odin hits a Northern Lights Suplex on The
Vibe, pinning him as the referee makes the slow three count. Not paying
attention, Ryan Slade is dumbfounded.]
Peter
Santos: Ryan Slade is eliminated!
[Slade
freaks out on the sideline because he knows that if he lets this go, the loss
will count, but if he confesses that he put his manager in, he might get
disqualified! As he panics outside, The Vibe rolls out onto the floor and
Doomsday gets to his feet and meets Odin as they both trade punches and kicks,
before Doomsday stuns Odin with a masive right hook and locks up a full nelson
submission into a full nelson slam. He goes for the pin, but only gets a two
count. Doomsday grabs Odin by his black hair, and throws him into the
turnbuckle. Doomsday runs after Odin in the turnbuckle, but is met with a kick
to the face. Odin seats himself on the top rope and grabs Doomsday by the head,
then twists and slams Doomsday to the mat with a tornado DDT. Odin goes for a
pin, but only gets a two count.]
JP: A
massive move from Odin, but I still don't know if Ryan Slade is out.
Sully:
He never got pinned! It was his manager that lost!
JP: That
might be the case, but I'm not sure.
[Slade
stands on the outside, yelling at The Vibe about what happened. Inside the ring
though, Odin stands again, frustrated, and picks up Doomsday. Grabbing him by
the arm, he throws "The Deadly One" into the turnbuckle and slams back into him.
He grabs Doomsday while in the corner, and lifts him up to the top turnbuckle.
Punching him furiously, Odin tries to keep Doomsday sedated as he attempts a
superplex. He grabs Doomsday, but Doomsday locks his leg with Odin's and blocks
it, then throws Odin down to the mat. Waiting for Odin to get to his feet,
Doomsday stands and when Odin gets to his feet, goes to hit a diving spear but
slips off the rope and crashes his head to the mat. He doesn't move at all,
seemingly paralyzed.]
JP:
Whoa! Did you see that?!? Doomsday isn't even moving! Let's take a look at the
instant replay!
[Instant
replay shows Doomsday slipping off of the rope, and landing face and neck first
onto the mat with his body going limp.]
Sully:
How the hell did that happen?
JP:
Wait...
Sully:
What!??!
JP: This
is Sean Harley's doing!
Sully:
JP, Harley isn't even out here. Are you that dumb, honestly?
JP: No,
remember when Harley entered? He unusually rubbed the ropes! He must have put
something on the ropes to make them slick!
Sully:
Damn! Harley's smarter than we all gave him credit for!
[Many
referees and EMT's come down to check on Doomsday, but spying the opportunity
Odin pushes them all away, turns over Doomsday's body and demands that the
referee count. Reluctantly, the referee counted the three count pin and the bell
rings.]
Peter
Santos: Here is your winner...Odi..
Voice:
Wait wait wait wait!
JP: Who
the hell is that?
[The
voice continues to speak.]
Voice:
As much as I would love to see Odin pick up this win, I cannot let a cheap main
event happen on my first day. Seeing as Ryan Slade was never really eliminated,
I am reinstating him into this match and order that it starts again!
JP: I
guess the question was answered, Slade wasn't eliminated!
[The
bell rings as Slade hurries back into the ring, with Odin keeping a disappointed
but furious look on him. The two square off, then lock up. They push eachother
in a test of strength, and Odin is pushed into the turnbuckle by Slade who
breaks the hold, but is met with a kick to the gut by Odin. Taking advantage of
this, Odin clubs the back of Slade's head as Ryan falls backwards onto the
canvas. Odin falls on top of Slade, punching him feverishly before the referee
breaks it up. Odin grabs Ryan by the head, but Slade counters it by grabbing
Odin's leg and eventually turning it into a sharp shooter. Odin screams in agony
as the referee asks if he taps out, but won't give up.]
Sully:
This could be it! Odin might tap out right here!
[Slade
puts torque onto Odin as Odin tries to get to the ropes, but instead grabs the
referee and thrashes the referee back and forth by his shirt, trying to let the
pain go but accidentally headbutts the referee out cold. Odin keeps banging on
the mat, and eventually makes his way to the ropes but because the referee is
down, Slade doesn't break it. Feeling the end is near, Odin pulled himself so
that he could reach a trash can lid from under the ring. He was dragged back
into the middle of the ring by Ryan, but Odin slammed the lid backwards and
nailed Slade, forcing him to break the hold and hit the canvas. Both men lay on
the ground, as well as the referee. Another referee is sent down and starts the
ten count. One.two..three...four....five.....six......seven.......eight........nine.........but
before that last count of ten, Slade and Odin got to their feet and started
trading punches. A right hook there, a left here, they were slugging it out,
until eventually Odin hooked Slade's arm and set him up in a reverse inverter
Death Valley Driver that Odin calls the Nightmare Snap. Odin goes to execute it,
but Slade lands on his feet, kicks Odin in the gut, hooks his arms and plants
Odin with the Twisted Truth! He covers Odin, and the referee counts the three
pin count fall and the bell rings.
Peter
Santos: Here is your winner, Ryan Slade!
JP: What
a comeback! Well, I guess he never left, but he did pick up a hard fought
victory!
Sully: I
have to admit it, this new generation of wrestling superstars are doing
themselves proud, that was a damn good match if I've ever seen one.
JP: It
shows how much they want it, and you have to respect that.
Sully:
Definitely.
[Suddenly the arena goes
black as the words, Hes back appears on the screen, the fans, JP And Sully
have no idea whats going on as the MwF goes to a commercial.]
